Very very basic hotel. I would say it's more 3 or 3.5 star not 4 star. Room was nice but small and had basic amenities. A/C on the first night took a while to cool. Pool and roof top very nice but if you are by the pool it's so difficult to order as the staff pay no attention to that area. The reception staff gave me hardly any info when I checked in, I had to ask questions that he should have provided straight away. Food at the rooftop restaurant was just ok. Location was good, 15-20 mins to Nice city centre and airport.

Images are not at all representative of the hotel. Some images are photoshopped, some images that claim to be the exterior are actually neighboring buildings. The hotel is currently (July 2024) undergoing renovations in major areas. Dirty, unclean, staff had dirty clothes.

Construction by the pool, with very noisy machinery, closed restaurant all week, and messy rooftop. This was supposed to be a relaxing week, with drinks by the pool, but turned out ro be the worst hotel experianse ever. Stay away, rebook if you are going, the hotel manager said the renovations will go on for more weeks. They schould have closed for renovations instead of keeping the hotel open.

The Communication from the staff is catastrophic. The are prioritizing their restaurant and it’s refurbish and not the guest that is staying at the hotel. The refurbish made the pool area impossible to be at. Full construction work and when we were there they also spent the first 2 days to clean the pool area with noisy power washer the whole days. When we complained to the staff in the beginning of the week that told us that they will compensate us at checkout. We got a soft drink in compensation. Also the last day the pool area was closed almost the whole day to prepare for an coperate event in the evening. An event nobody gave us an hands up for in advance that it will be noisy to the late hours.

The parking facility is tricky....You'll have to park across the street and go out from a different building. Nobody tells you what to do. I got stuck a couple of times. Also, the breakfast is really poor, very few choices to eat.Other than that, the property is nice with staff willing to help you.

The property is wonderful for relaxing! Although the property is only 8 miles from Nice - beware it’s €70 one way via taxi!! Breakfast is simple and a little pricey at €22 per person per day! Lovely staff, great view and clean comfortable rooms.

We loved this hotel!! it's right on the beach and close to plenty of restaurants within walking distance....not to mention the hotel restaurant was AMAZING!! The only thing I would do differently is splurge on the Beachfront rooms. We had a nice room with a little outdoor patio and this was a nice place to unwind at the end of the day.

Hotel was clean but my issue was with the front desk. During check in I was not told about the services about the hotel. For instance when the restaurant is open, where the pool is and the mini keg and booze displayed in the lobby. I didn’t feel welcome. Furthermore I had an issue with a cab driver charging me €70 for the ride form the airport that was 15 minutes away. So i asked the front desk before i paid and The front desk said that was Appropriate and yet when I left I took an Uber and spent €21. Definitely not on the guests side.

Breakfast was a waste of money - often nothing left towards end of service. Hairdryer replaced 3 times and still faulty. Cobwebs in the rooms. Beds and rooms are small for a 4* hotel. Location lovely just a shame about the rest 😢

Hotel overall was lovely great rooms spacious clean and modern. It’s right on a beach and has great pool area and tasteful lunch choices. Staff is friendly however breakfast really could be better. I know you can’t please everyone but same things every day and little choice.

This is a very nice Mercure location. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, with a wide selection of fresh items, eggs, etc. Service was very friendly and helpful, and everyone is bilingual.

Very impressed with the service. Paula on reception was extremely helpful. Equally the bar staff. The roof top bar, pool and restaurant area are fantastic. Great place to chill out and unwind. Right by beach and a watersports centre nearby. Plenty of restaurants within a close walk too. Rooms are fine - particularly on the second story with a balcony and view. 20 min taxi to the airport (around €45)

I stayed at the hotel for one night before catching next day’s flight from Nice. Overall speaking, the location of the hotel is excellent. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants.The hotel receptionists are very friendly. It also has a private underground carpark which is just opposite the hotel. The size of the room (classic) is okay, however the carpet was not very clean. The WiFi, ohh my god, it was not working at all! I rang reception and was told that no one could use WiFi that day! Unfortunately for us, the weather condition was very poorly the day when we arrived and it continued till next day morning. At breakfast, everyone was sitting inside due to the weather, and there was no spare table when we got there. So we had to sit outside where tables were with umbrellas. However, tables and chairs were very wet and we had to put up with water dripping down on our back the whole time. It was significantly under staff to serve breakfast as I could see only one guy working. No fresh mugs, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. No one to clean up tables after guests have left. And no one refill empty plates at the food stands, we were basically scrapping little food that was still there until the guy realised and went downstairs to bring some fresh food up. Absolutely under staff, perhaps it’s because of Sunday. At check out, we were told that the credit card terminal was not working and asked to leave card details on a piece of paper or paying cash. There you go, a four star hotel!

Put on your website that the parking is only available for cars not higher then 1m90. I am driving a 4x4 Toyota Landcruiser. The receptionist was very helpfull and I was able to put my car in the guided area of the hotel.

Excellent front office staff, housekeeping is poor, pool area is fantastic. Biggest problem is the car park that runs along one side of the hotel, it’s a nightmare! Goons in cars at 3am making so much noise the police get called, it also doubles as a local function area in summer nights with bands etc, I stayed 4 nights and did not sleep well at all.

Motel rooms facing beach looked nice, our ground floor room in main building back from the beach was OK, but smelt of previous tenant cooking. Kitchen is located between bedroom and bathroom so smell was throughout bedroom. To open door was very difficult as rollers were not existent. Beach just rocks so not exactly beach when you come from Gold Coast in Australia, but can walk to marina which has restaurants and laundromat.
