Very conveniant beach access but super loud at night. Murphy's pub is just across the street with live music until late and the bedroom window faces the stage. Room smelled like someone smoked right before we arrived.

The staff was very helpful and friendly! The rooms were awesome!

We had a really nice stay! It was at two minutes from the beach (walking). The motel was very nice and clean outside including the parking lot. There was still an old carpet though, so the floor should be renovated.

Just stay one night. Not enough facts to be fair.

It's a walkable distance to most everything. The front desk person was polite when we checked in. However there was another lady there that was on the rude side.

Had issues with payment and refunding of charges

Didn’t like that we arrived 4 hrs earlier than check in and were charged $13 for parking even though there were plenty of vacant rooms/parking. Outdated but felt safe and was pretty quiet.

It was the best hotel ever! So clean and nice! Owners were great and check in and out was a breeze! Definitely want to stay again.

I drove 14hrs to get to the hotel. The réceptionist who is the boss notified me that he refused to honor the Expedia réservation and as a result, i was going to be overcharged by 358 USD or to cancel the réservation and go elsewhere. The reason given, my 2 childs were not included in the réservation, witch is totally false.what is unfortunate in this story is the dismal service from Expedia. I was taken , me and family like hostages between the hotel and Expedia. Finaly my advice to read properly your réservation befor to reach this Hotel to ovoid surprises!! Thanks.

They hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy the beach with family. Very close and a super easy walk.

No cool airflow to the bedroom. Living area has to be freezing to make back room ok. Room needs repairs and you have to carry dirty towels to office before you can get new ones.

Only thing we order non smoking room but it smell smoking when on the first night but it was resolve

The beds were not comfortable. The a/c was in front room which didn't cool the bedroom much at all. Had to ask for more towels.

I called as soon as i booked to let them know we traveled with service dogs. The owner immediately assumed they were fake and started telling me "i have tests and ways of knowing if they are real...". He never noted it on our reservation. We got in at midnight and of course called in twice earlier, once to let them know we'd be there close to midnight and once closer to update our eta. We got there to discover, they put us on the 3rd floor with no elevator! We asked to be moved downbut were told to speak with someone in the morning as she couldn't do anything about it. In the morning, the owner tried to cover up that he had spoken to me about the service dogs and had my children come in with the dogs to the office so he can test the dogs. He asked for paperwork. He asked why they need them and what disabilitythey have. He asked all these questions that he's not supposed to ask. When we called him on it and even showed him the ADA rulings and Virginia laws he backed down. He really didn't want us there. He also said he couldn't move us down to a lower floor. He even charged me extra for my 16 yr old son! (I'm a single mom...) and then he had the nerve to charge me an extra $100 after we checked out for no apparent reason! We gathered all the garbage into large garbage bags and the dogs hadn't ruined anything!! The owners are just very money hungry.... he's got car's parked like sardines and has the audacity to advertise $10/day parking to outsiders wanting to go to beach!

This place was easy to enjoy, great location, no muss no fuss.

The outside looked VERY sketchy, and was not what I was expecting from the website or Google pictures. But once I was inside the room I was pleasantly surprised.

Paid through app knowing its non refundable. I towed a small fishing boat. Couldn't park anywhere. The picture of the parking lot seemed adequate which is misleading. Never checked in. Went to motel 6 to sleep and park.

What I didn’t like is the fact I had to pay $10 for parking when it’s supposed to be a perk of using their premises

Pictures on the internet were not accurate at all, floor was tiled and full of sand. You couldn’t walk on the floor. Then there was a cigarette hole in our comforter, burns on the furniture. We didn’t get our room cleaned the entire visit nor get fresh linens or towels. The hotel had little to no insulation you could hear all of the street and parking lot traffic. Staff was polite though so there’s a least that.

We did not get to stay at this establishment because my husband’s name did not match my name on our credit card! We are married and share all cards I’m so mad. We shouldn’t have been allowed to make the reservation if this was a problem from the beginning. Poor communication!!

Unable to get room early, wanted $10 an hour early check in. I declined offer.

This place was dingy and did not feel clean at all. the back window wouldn't lock so I had to wedge a hanger in it to secure it. There was a flat sheet in place of a fitted sheet and it was too small to boot. I had paid for two nights, but left after the first and went to another hotel...would not recommend at all

The space was generous and it is nice to have a couch and chair and chairs at a table. The sheets were not big enough to cover the mattress, let alone tuck in. We had to ask for a blanket. The 'kitchen' had a fridge and a microwave and empty cupboards but no dishes, cups or cutlery. No cleaning was done during our three night stay and we had to ask for fresh towels.The night light/switch in the bedroom is insanely bright so bring something to cover it! The lights in the bathroom were way too bright and we took 2 bulbs out while staying. One night, guests were very loud outside from about 2.00 to 4.00am.
