Absolutely fantastic hotel , the staff were helpful and friendly, will definitely stay again.

Very dated and tired property. Staff helpful and friendly - however we spent very little time here as there is a lot to do in the area and we didn't want to sit around the cramped pool area for long.

We did not originally book this hotel, we were relocated here by Expedia as our original accommodation fell through upon arrival.
We had some issues checking in, as we arrived at his hotel at 3:30am. However, despite this, our stay was great. The staff were lovely, specifically the female manager. She was extremely apologetic and accommodating. We had breakfast there for 3 mornings, there is a good selection of pastries, pancakes and hot food to which you can help yourself.
Our room had a small balcony overlooking the pool which was a nice addition.
The only downside was that this hotel was a 25 minute walk, up hill from the main square, and a 40 minute walk, up hill from the marina.
Was not a problem for us, as we are a young couple in our early 20s, but would not recommend for anyone who struggles with hills or cobbled streets.
Overall, a pleasant stay.

For work and my birthday, I booked a trip to Italy. It was my first time in the country. 17 hours and hauling my luggage to the resort in the rain, I was so happy to arrive to the hotel. Then it all goes left.
FABIANO…the short male at the concierge desk is absolutely rude. After I was given the key to my room, I always do a security check with windows and doors especially b/c I’m a solo female traveler. The Juliette balcony door would not stay closed. I told the front desk. The maintenance man came. I didn’t feel comfortable and asked for a different room. They brought me to a room in what felt like a basement (from the window, I can see that we were below street level). I told FABIANO I didn’t like that room either. He got upset, raised his voice at me, berated me, and asked “what’s my problem?!” Keep in mind, I’ve only been there about 15 minutes at this point. I was in disbelief in how he spoke to me. I asked him why is he upset and getting loud with me. I told the manager Antonella (who is fantastic), and she asked him about his behavior and he said he never spoke to me in a raised voice or disrespectfully. He lied right in front of my face. He made my stay so uncomfortable, I would never return. I’ve never been treated so badly in all my years of traveling. Idk if he’s racist, misogynist, or just a terrible person, but if you’re a solo woman or a minority, take heed.
Aside from that, Ants greeted me my first morning. Found blonde hair all over the white sheets.

Property was in a great location walkable to lots of great restaurants and attractions.
Cons:
Food at the property included for the meals was not great.

Nice staff, great property, nice rooms

Property very shabby. Food okay but poorly presented. Staff seemed slighty bored by it all. Location fine, short walk to trains. Free shuttle bus into Sorrento city.

Staff great has great potential to be a really good hotel.
-Food very dull needs more choice specially desserts and mains !
-lift very dirty
-needs modernising and money spent on it .

The hotel is nice and in great location. Close to everything. Breakfast was ok and plenty.
On a dowside the towels in our room were shabby. One has to pay 5€ to get a beach towel for the pool area.

We would like to thank all the staff at the hotel especially the head concierge can’t remember his name at the front desk. He made our experience and stay at the hotel extremely a super pleasant one. Definitely will be recommending this hotel to all my friends

Good location, walkable to Sorrento city center.
Grounds are lovely and extremely helpful staff.
Hotel needs an update badly.

The hotel has a great resort feeling to it. Good value for money. Breakfast was very basic for the reputation of a 4* hotel. It could have been much better. Pool area was good though.

Cannot say we had a good experience at the hotel. Our bed seemed broken so we had to cuddle ok one side, our balcony was shared with a staff break area and our stuff was moved around and covered in cigarette ashes. We didn't have hot water most of the time. But more importantly when this was all brought up to the hotel staff, nothing was done about it. Other guests seemed to be having a good experience, maybe we were just having bad luck.

The room was very very small and dull. Wifi in communal areas was very poor.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, mainly because they offered free parking and Sant'Agnello was easier to navigate with our giant luggage. The hotel is located about a 5 minute drive from sorrento, but they offer a free shuttle bus to get you there.
The room was suitable, but slightly dated. There's no fridge, iron or kettle.
The wifi offered was less than average. We were told it was only available in the pool & bar areas but in most cases it was only available at the bar downstairs (if it actually worked!). You're better off going to the cafe around the corner if you need decent wifi.
The breakfast buffet consisted of bacon & eggs, myself, cereals and pastries.
The hotel has a large pool, but most chairs are gone quite early as people claim them before the pool opens.
Overall, we'd recommend if you're looking for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of most of the other locations on the amalfi coast.

We could not have been more disappointed. We were greeted by the hotel staff and lead to a room which did not fit the hotel photos or descriptions. It reeked of cheap cleaning product and we both got nauseous from the smell. The room felt dirty, uncomfortable and like the Shining. We had to leave and ended up booking a room at a different hotel.

I was in Sorrento 4 years earlier for a wedding at the Cocumella (10 minute walk away), and was thourghouly impressed / taken back by the Grand Hotel Parco Del Sole. The grounds are immaculate, the pool is a welcome bonus, the staff were incredibly friendly and by the 2nd day were treating us like we were family. Its nicely situated about a 20-minute walk outside of the main square and easily accessible to the Marina/Port & subway (take the Express train vs. the local option) if youre doing say trips to Capri or Pompeii. Great value for money and when wed left we really wished wed been able to afford more time here. Wouldnt consider staying anywhere else in Sorrento in future if were ever back in the region.

We truly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this hotel. It is very nicely maintained and all of the staff were great. The rooms are clean and fresh and we enjoyed having a patio. The breakfast buffet was very good. Choices of hot and cold items plus most any coffee drinks we wanted. We spent many hours relaxing around the pool area and every day we ate lunch at the pool side buffet restaurant. At 6:00 PM, when the temperatures wold start dropping, we would take their complimentary bus into the heart of Sorrento and spend the evening seeing the sights. They also offered a free return bus as late as 10:45 PM.

Nice and comfortable hotel. We had a great room with a beautiful view. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the wifi only works at the pool and the downstairs lobby area. That was disappointing after a long day of travel wanting to unwind in my room...I had to go elsewhere to get on wifi.

First of all, dont follow the GPS for this address. The entrance is right off the main street, but the address isnt. We didnt know that and spent a while figuring that out. The location is great and free breakfast and free parking almost made the stay worth it from the start. Be warned however that the beds are very European... meaning stiff. Still, overall... very pleased.

We stayed here for one night after a wedding because we'd stayed 2 nights at Cocumella and needed a cheap alternative! The staff were great, pool was fantastic and room was large and clean. Nothing too fancy but just what we needed! Carpet in hallway was all rucked up on first floor on way to room and hallways could have done with a spruce up!

We (myself, sister and mum) stayed at Grand Hotel Parco del Sole as a base with a pool while exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, and it didn't disappoint - in particular, the pool is fantastic, with plenty of loungers and towels, and random sharing of ice cold watermelon... the hotel is a 20 minute walk from Sorrento but there's also a regular (if not greatly frequent - on the hour roughly) bus service, but it is also located very close to sant'agnello train station, which provides a service to pompeii, naples, into sorrento etc, so I wouldn't worry about the distance out of the city! The staff are very polite and helpful, especially the waiters at the buffet breakfast. Our only gripe was a slightly odd smell in our room, which didn't go away even when well ventilated, but we hardly spent any time in there anyway...in summary, the friendliness of the staff and quality of the poolside area mean I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, and would also recommend Sorrento as a fine place to base yourself for exploring the wider region.

Disappointed!,,,,,arrogant and very rude staff, no pool towels, and once you go past the beautiful gardens it stops there! Very far from 4 stars.....!

I did not expect a 4* Hotel not to have any sort of room service. We arrived at 9pm on the first day which should have included dinner and was extreemely disappointed to find that there was no food available only drinks from the bar. After a long day travelling and the need for rest I found this most unsatisfactory. Nadine on reception was workshy and could not be bothered but the others were extreemely helpful and made up for the odd one out Nadine. Hotel was clean at all times and dinner had a few choices but was agian not of a 4* standard and more like a high class self service canteen Table cloths were not changed etc Although the service was very friendly once you got over the maitre d being a tad hitlanic..lol quiet area not many restuarants or much night entertainment except bars. entertainment in the hotel was on one night only Overall its what you make it yourself but do not have the expectations of 4*. It is a good 20 minutes to Sorrento or a 10 minute bus ride which is most regular.

Really liked this hotel. It is in a lovely setting just slightly away from the hustle and bustle of central Sorrrento but within easy reach by train, public bus and courtesy bus. We actually walked into Sorrento and the harbour one day. the pool is large and is set in the grounds where there are plenty of sunbeds. the bar is near the pool and there is lots of shady areas for those who want to be outdoors but not in full sunshine. The food was excellent with good choice of menu and the dining staff were really friendly. there was a singer by the pool each night but the entertainment was quite low key. There was a welcome bottle of champaigne- ish in the room when we arrived which was very much appreciated. We booked superior rooms with friends and were pleased to find that we were next door to each other. Rooms were ultra clean with fluffy white towels, toiletries were also included as well as a hairdrier & complementary safe. Pool towels were also provided - something I wish i had known before packing. All in all this hotel was the right choice for us and we hope to return next year.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights. The reception area and staff are lovely. Breakfast was a fairly typical european buffet with cereals, bread, rolls, pastries, cheese, cold meat, fruit and boiled eggs with bacon, hot dog type sausages and scrambled egg. We didn't eat in the hotel except for breakfast and chose instead eat outside for lunch or dinner as any food or drink bought in the hotel has to be charged to your room rather than paid for at the time. Hotel is about 5 mins walk from centre of San't Agnello. Come out the hotel and turn left and a 20 minute walk along the main road will take you into the town of Sorrento. There's also a 4 x daily shuttle bus from the hotel to Sorrento. Room was a decent size with AC, in room safe and large bathroom and small balcony. It has a small TV but only English channel is BBC world News. There's a twice daily maid service and towel service for the pool. The pool area was quite small. It was fine when we were there with pleanty space and sun loungers but I imagine it would get very busy in the height of summer. Overall no complaints about the hotel but if I went back to this part of Italy I would stay in Sorrento as we like to try different places rather than eat in the hotel all the time and you are a bit limited with San't Agnello. Would probably also get an appartment rather than hotel to ake the most of the fantastic local produce!

Very plush in own grounds with nice but cold pool and gargdens. Room well furnished and clean and bathroom fine - good cupboards. Breakfast excellent, cooked if you wanted. We had 2 great buffet evening meals here during stay. Out of central Sorrento but they do have a shuttle courtesy bus. Staff v. professional but not especially friendly to non-packaged guests(us!)

The hotel is well laid out and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff were always helpful. It is about 20 minutes walk into Sorrento but the road is VERY busy. Cteer to take the slightly longer walk (about 30 minutes) around the residentail area.

At Expedia prices, this hotel represents alot for the money. It is a slightly aging hotel, but this adds to the charm and the facilities are excellent and the breakfast is very good. Staff are extremely friendly.

Pleasant hotel, very impressive entrance and gardens! Wide range of food at breakfast though the coffee was foul! (as mentioned in previous reviews) One of the reception staff in particular was very rude and unpleasant though the rest were fine. Nice pool and bar and the complimentary champagne on ice in the room on arrival was a lovely touch!!
