We really enjoyed out stay at the Elizabeth Inn. The beds were very comfortable. I loved sitting by the fireplace and looking out at the amazing view. My kids really enjoyed the pool and loved going down for the breakfastin the morning.

Great view and easy beach access less than a block away! Room was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels. Heated pool was nice and outside area with firepits was cute. Breakfast buffet was decent and evening cookies was a great touch for the kids! Only negative was very poor shower water pressure. Definitely will stay again.

This place knows how to do it ! Great views, fantastic room. Everything seems updated and clean and the fireplace in the room was nice. Staff was very courteous and it was a great weekend away! Would definitely come back

We stayed at the Elizabeth about a year ago and thought it was amazing! So we went back for my husband’s birthday. He likes the late afternoon salmon chowder, unfortunately we arrived after it was gone on the first night. We did get some of the cookies which were delicious. The rooms have balconies with an amazing view of the beach. We felt the room seemed “tired”. Wallpaper was torn and glued back up, some holes in the walls, shower needs some cleaning and the bathroom fan needed to be cleaned. We listened to our neighbor’s toilet flushing during the night, which was very loud. Don’t think we will be back.

Was a great trip. View was amazing. The Chowder at 5 and cookies at 7 was an extra special touch. The employees at the desk were especially kind, helpful and upbeat; they made the stay extra nice, they are the main reason we would return.

The positives first: We were there for our anniversary, and they placed flower petals in a heart on the bed and left us a bottle of Elderflower Lemonade with a lovely card. Every room has a balcony with good chairs that face the ocean. The robes in the room were plush, cozy and warm. The fireplace makes it very romantic. Beds are very comfortable! Now for the not-so-positives: while the bed are comfy, they are SO HIGH off the ground that me and my 6'2" husband had trouble getting up on them! In our room, the carpet was treadbare near the bathroom, and the tack strip was exposed. It wasn't pleasant when I stepped on it! Also, the lower rail on the balcony plexiglass was rusted out, and the glass dropped down which made it dangerous for my grandchildren to be on the balcony. And just one personal peeve: the toilet paper is this and rough. My wife did bring the safely issues to their attention, and they were very receptive. We have stayed here many times, and this was our least favorite stay. The hotel recently sold, so we are hopeful for a return to their prior greatness!

Place was good. Beds were nice and soft. Disappointed that the breakfast provided was all prepackaged food that I could have gotten at the gas station. Thought it would have been better with the cost of the stay per night. Will make me consider staying at anymore Ascend hotels if this is what they offer.

If you are in Newport OR, this is the best place to stay. 1. All rooms are beach facing and sunsets are viewable from the balcony 2. Double bed rooms are king sized 3. Pets allowed 4. The sink is outside the bathroom. This is a great help when you are with family. 5. Nice eating joints, all within 3 mile radius. 6. Many beaches and lighthouse within 5 mile radius. 7. Good pool, hot tub and fire pit! Great service and decent parking spaces. Cons: Keycard seems fickle. Keeps getting demagnetized often. More of an annoyance than a con. Breakfast is basically grab and go. Not much to write about. Overall, great place to spend time with family.

Staff were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Stunning views from the room balcony. I would suggest changing out the plexiglass on the balcony, looked old and you could not see through it. I also suggest screen doors on the patio so you can sleep with it cracked open and hear the ocean while you sleep. The pool and hot tub were not the best. Didn’t feel as nice as the rooms were. The patio with fire pits were awesome! So cozy and nice to sit out there as chilly as it was. We were disappointed that you had to request room service for clean towels and garbage removal etc. I think this hotel could benefit by having direct beach access right off the patio. Would have been SO nice! Was really hoping to get my grandmother on the beach and she just couldn’t. Chowder and cookies were a nice touch. Breakfast was very simple breakfast sandwich and cereals ( typical hotel stuff). The free water bottles were a PLUS! Overall nice stay.

It was the most perfect place. I cannot say enough positive about our new find. The views of the ocean were breathtaking. We just loved having our sliding glass doors open to hear the sounds of the ocean! We enjoyed our private balcony so much. We really loved having a gas fireplace in our room. The ambiance or this place was incredible. I cannot wait to go back!

Perfect spot for staying on the beach. Great extra amenities such as the salmon chowder which was surprisingly great and fresh baked cookies. Access to the beach is thru a memorial farther down the beach so even though the suites are right on the beach the access is a bit farther. Parking was convenient and love the area for Newport!

The place is beautiful, the parking is horrendous.. the parking garage is a nightmare, I bottomed out my car both times I tried parking in the garage, finally after being totally stressed out about possibly damaging my car, I parked on the street!! Because of this I’ll choose a different location next time..

The property was clean. The beds were soft, but they were way too strict about use of the amenities after check out. I just wanted to sit in the back of the hotel and wait for my friend to be ready, but they wouldn’t even let me do that. Overall the place was nice, but being open to doing little things to keep a customer happy would be a smart move on their part.

Spotless, everything was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful and always keeping the towels in the pool stocked and helpful with directions. The room is right on the beach and the patio was very relaxing. The walk to the beach is just a short stroll down the steps or the trail. Very quiet hotel and I felt very safe there. Family friendly.

Very dog friendly, extremely nice staff. Shops and restaurants (and beach!) all within walking distance. My OCD wife wipes things down in hotel rooms and wanted all of you readers to know that the wipes all came back clean - even on the remote! :) Plenty of free food and breakfast options in the lobby, including home made dog biscuits. We'll be back!
