Amazing views, especially at Sunrise and Sunset. Very Clean and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a comfortable size with two queen beds and a small kitchenette and eating area. We had Ocean views with a large balcony. Laundry facilities and vending machines are on site. Location is great being on the private end. Best of all you can walk right out on the Beautiful VB Boardwalk from the Hotel parking lot where you have access to great restaurants that have the ocean views as well. There are many shops and entertainment that are just across the street and within walking distance from the boardwalk. They had a Halloween parade All ag and Cultures, the Costumes were Amazing. They also had a couple of marathons one with a polar plunge. The beach and the whole area is clean safe and very well Maintained by the City on a daily basis. Great to see all the cyclist and joggers and people strolling children and pets and people fishing, boating, surfing and para sailing which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. A plus is they were already decorating for Christmas and have some cool lighted displays.I Highly recommend Schooner Inn we have stayed there numerous times and have always had no complaints. We look forward to our next Vacation stay with them. Be sure to check out their Amazing Aquarium and sign up for a fishing or Dolphin boat tour. 😁

If you chose to stay at this hotel getting a room facing the ocean is an absolute must! Our first night we stayed in a room facing the pool. The room wasn't up to my standards of cleanliness. The second day we switched to a room with an ocean view and whirlpool. Game changer! I wish I would have changed rooms to begin with. The room was 100% better in every single way! The front desk supervisor who helped us, Robert, went above and beyond to help us and he was amazing! Awesome customer service. The Schooner Inn is lucky to have him!

Folded back sheets to one of the beds only to discover fecal matter on the sheets. Front desks solution was to offer me clean sheets so I could change them:( it’s a shame because other interactions with the front desk were very polite. Unfortunately I will never stay here again. I do not believe the reviews are accurate giving this place an excellent rating. Dig deep into the reviews for your own peace of mind.

Amazing view. Right on the board walk. Highly recommend going off season. Still lots of stuff open, a little chilly, but so peaceful with basically just the locals around. Obviously not going in the water. But this hotel does have a heated pool. We didn’t use it cause we had the room with jacuzzi. Great view sitting in that at night with the lights off, as it’s in the balcony window. Also rented the peddle car things. Great way to go down the long boardwalk. Great little get away.

We had an excellent stay at the Schooner Inn. The front desk staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. They switched our room last minute and we had a ground floor suite. The beach access was perfect. Great location, very clean and comfortable rooms. We will definitely be returning!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The place is dated but was overall clean. However maintenance had entered the room and left a small mess on the floor. The television was unable to keep any signal so watching anything is not an option, but there is a nice view of the ocean. There was little water pressure for the bathroom sink but enough to survive. The toilet tank would not fill with water. It flushed once and then in the middle of the night I noticed there was no water in the tank. I checked to see if the water was on (it was) and explained to the front desk that the toilet had no water. The staffs solution to this was to offer to plunge a toilet that was not clogged, it only had liquid in it. So the only option was to not have a functional toilet. No other option was offered. The parking lot was not full, but no other room was offered. I'm easy to please, a little mess from maintenance, low water pressure, and a television not working can be overlooked. But a functional toilet is a requirement. Holding it in the rest of my stay is not a option, but this place doesn't seem to care. Never ever stay here! Never ever stay here! Never ever stay here!

Great place to stay! Right on the boardwalk and the inlet. Location, location, location! Walking distance to dozens of restaurants. Close to fishing pier and fishing charter boats. Beautiful ocean views! Pool was very clean. Best bang for your buck on the boardwalk! I stay there every time and looking forward to the next time!

Even though this is an older hotel, it was nice, clean, and well-kept. The housekeeping staff was super nice & friendly. Location was perfect if you have elementary/middle school aged kids due to the close proximity of the playground. Quiet on the end of the beach! I would definitely stay there again!

Our stay was nice but nothing out of the ordinary. The hotel is dated and for the price, i was expecting much more. Onle one elwvatoe worked and it was frequently busy. The water pressure was amazing but there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The balcony was very nice buf the cheap plastic chairs were disappointing.

We've stayed here many times in the past, so our expectations were realistic. Simple upgrades were a plus (new lining in hot tub, plank floors, heat and a/c both worked). However, our bathroom sink would not drain and one elevator was out of service the entire time. At one point, the second elevator was being serviced and we had to walk up five floors. We saw the air show from a distance so that was great! Views and location are the reasons to stay. Parking spots are tight. Cigar smoker (maybe an employee) outside made it difficult to sit on the balcony at times. Easy walk to a few stores and restaurants. Small beds but comfortable. Kitchen has dishes, cups, toaster, coffee maker... not a Keurig, and silverware but nothing else (bring paper towels). Check in and out were easy. It's basic, and reasonably priced.

Arrived in the room to find toe bathtub dripping and full of water. Went to make toast and toaster was not working. Also turned on water at the sink and water leaking around the facet and running to the bottom of the sink under the bottom wetting underneath. Also no paper towels. wow. would have appreciated a larger tv in the room. I did like the connections and room set up. Better outdoor furniture to sit on would have been nice.

The Inn was convenient in its location close to the inlet. We had a view of the ocean which was nice. Balcony was very small. We had issue with the door lock but a staff member quickly replaced the batteries and we were good. The rooms were spacious and clean although could use some updating. Our mattress was poor and I have back pain issues which were not helped by the condition of the mattress.
