Extremely pleasant check in. The room although small had everything we needed most comfortable bed. When we returned from shopping at Christmas market our host greeted us offered hot drinks. Then he sat with us and we had fun intelligent conversation. Our host made this stay exceptionally nice.

Went above and beyond service - they really listened to us and the next day suggested a walking trip for us that was 100% relevant - they are an amazing team and we feel they have achieved something we have not experienced before in our 35years of international travel.

This is a very clean hotel run by kind and thoughtful people on all levels. Our room was small but very clean and quiet. One drawback is that the room lacked air cooling. All staff that we interacted with made us feel like we were family. They always went out of their way to accommodate us. This is a great location, easy walk to all attractions. The breakfast is very good, high quality, plenty of variety, easy accesd, and well worth. It.

It was nice they provided fans (FYI it doesn’t have ac btw, most in this region don’t) The breakfast was good, the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend to friends and family, and would stay there again.

The staff were wonderful, the room was nice and comfortable, the location is excellent (with one exception, see below). The breakfast was lovely. Overall it was a good experience. The one negative is the 3 nearby bars (a Music Pub, Wine Bar, and Belgian Beer place) all in close proximity. We had a room facing the street -- every night of our stay, patrons of the bars were drunkenly yelling and singing in the street (which reverberated the sound) until after 2-3 am. So, it was impossible to sleep with windows open, and got warm with windows shut. Some nights, even with the windows shut you could hear the drunks. Then, at 5 am, the street cleaner would come down the street. So, sleep was hard to come by because of the neighbors, even though the hotel itself is lovely.

A quaint sweet property that was clean and comfy. Buffet breakfast was traditional Austrian. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Only one complaint is lack of central a/c. But I would stay there again!

We were extremely pleased with this hotel. It was close to everything but at the same time, located on a lovely, quiet street. While the hotel does not have AC, we were able to sleep with our balcony door open (room 42) and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The staff are super friendly. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Salzburg. Thank you for the recommendation, Rick Steves.

We had a very nice stay. Lovely little hotel in a cosy street. Very good location. Close to restaurants and Mirabell gardens. The only thing we can complain about is the heat in the room due to lack of ac. We had 28 degrees during the night. Opening the window wasnt an option because of the bars on the street below. Overall a pleasant stay :)

We had a triple room which was really spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable; reception staff was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations! Location was convenient to the train station and the old part of the city — definitely recommend!

This is a great hotel! The staff is very kind, friendly, and patient with our German communication attempts. The hotel is truly near to all the attractions, jet it is really quiet. The linens are extremely clean and have a nice herbal scent. It is a place to rest and enjoy.

The entire place is simple and beautifully decorated. The staff is remarkable! Without hesitation they seem to delight in excellent service. The food is amazing and well priced. They provide relevant information on so many things, such as when the restaurant may be most busy, best times for excursions, etc. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

So far my most unpleasant experience in Salzburg (and I have been in over 20 different hotels trought the last two decades). Never before I felt so trapped in such an uncomfortable, dark, clausteophobic room. Management cleverly labels as a "economy room" some sort of catacomb located on the ground floor one step away from a busy reception area and the lifts. You will have no peace. The room is misleadingly depicted with clever words and surrounded by pictures of amazing rooms on the higher floors. I rarely felt so taken advantage of. I am very upset and, although I do not believe in negative reviews, I feel compelled to write this one to help fellows traveller in choosing a better and more comfortable accomodation.
