My A/C broke down so my options were sleep hot or in nice cool room. Got a room for one night and slept very comfortably. Price was right and room was awesome and clean.

Just made a late-night stop for sleep on my way to San Felipe, Baja California. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and I got a great night's sleep.

Overall a very comfortable and easy stay, came in earlier than expected from Los Angeles and they were able to let us in earlier than the check in time which was great. Friendly staff and room was clean and comfortable

Pool closed for a long time. Rates should be cheaper since its not disclosed. Maintenance workers remodeling upstairs rooms, throwing debris into truck bed making a lot of noise for rooms all over at 10 am. It served its purpose, pet friendly and fast food in walking distance and somewhat safe.

What was unique about this property? They had no AC turned on and our room was ninety degrees on entry. The office wouldn’t answer my calls and it took hours for the room to get below 80. Tons of obvious drug users wandering around the parking lot. Terrible experience

CONs-We Pre-Booked ahead of time. It was 115 degrees and NO use of the Pool is available...NO welcome drink- as advertised!
Office was Not willing to discount the room! We Came in, from San Diego & it was a Complete waste of my family's time!
PROs-Places to eat are close by..Church's Chicken, Del Taco, McDonald's and Chinese food!

Booked a handicap accessible room. Upon arrival this was not available. Our fellow traveller in a wheelchair could not even enter the bathroom. No solution was offered or even attempted. We were not even able to enter the hotel.
Had to find an alternative ourselves. Warning: don’t rely in anything the Crown motel promises !!

The Crown Motel is the place we stay whenever our travels bring us to El Centro, Ca. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The motel is centrally located for shopping at Costco, Smart and Final and Lowes. Despite being on a Main Street it is quiet.

The experience was not good. There several people out all night, loud music playing all night, cleanliness of room was not good, lotion was used, upstairs rooms had a lot of activity with men outside and making lots of noise.

The staff is very nice but unfortunately the next morning I woke up with my body really itchy and saw some redness on my skin, I then went to see a doctor and I was told I had fungus on my body. I don’t think I’ll ever stay there at the hotel again.

Was a good location. Close to many convenient places and the bed was comfortable.
The place was clean and seemed safe.
Negative would have been that some homeless had taken over the pool and it was closed, but there never seemed to be a threat or anything.
Overall and for an inexpensive price, we were very pleased with the space, cleanliness and comfort.
Also staff and owners or managers were very friendly

It was very strange having a dozen men just wandering around the parking lot smoking at night, but the stay was good and comfortable enough. Two or three EV chargers onsite would have made the stay more convenient.

The place is a bit run down, badly in need of a makeover. Our room was not well maintained: the toilet seat was falling off, and the bathroom door would not close. No way this place should have gotten a 7.8 rating on hotels.com.

Room 101 seemed clean but once I brung food that was purchased out to eat for myself an husband began to eat an there was a roach crawling on the night stand an a few more that came from behind the headboard an began crawling the wall I immediately went to the office an told the manager on duty the issue he didn’t deny the issue he simply offered a refund for the night that I as a guest had paid to stay at this location

Staff was very nice and welcoming and room was nice and modern BUT the extra security feature on the door was broken which made me uncomfortable because of all the activity

The room was very clean and front desk was very polite and accomidating. You had everything you need for an affordable price and it being a last minute stay. I am very grateful to the staff and for the room. The only thing i did not like was maybe some of the other people staying could be a bit unsettling? I feel if your in a group, no problem, no fear. But if its you and 1 other person, it might be a bit stressful. When i arrived, i saw only men at the property which is totally fine. What scared me is once some men from different rooms of the top floor looked at me in my car (didn't step out yet) they alerted their roomates to come out and look (I have a chevy 2010 nothing extravagent or too banged up). Weird i thought, but they're upstairs so it was fine. Then i parked, and 2 guys came out to just stand their, stare, and try to watch me unpack. I decided to move somewhere else and found parking right infront of my room. I grabbed my bags very quick to run inside. I was 3 steps maybe from my room entrance, and 1 room over from my next door neighbors, when 4 guys stepped out and stared at me from the end of the hall. Arms crossed, not saying anything just looking up and down. I came to meet my husband so he was there thank God, but definitely not anywhere I'd stay by myself. Maybe they just like to stare but it was very intimidating and uncomfortable on my way to the room. I didnt leave it the rest of the night, but doordash services there so no worries. Overall a 4/5 stay.
