Absolutely amazing experience staying at this property. Is a beautiful colonial building with a cozy courtyard a block away from Plaza Calderón. The hosts were super friendly. They arranged a taxi back to the airport early morning on departure day, gave us complimentary drinks on arrival and promptly took care of any requests we had. The room was a very convenient 2-story unit with a balcony facing the cobblestoned Presidente Borrero street. Breakfast was simple but very good and fresh. Location is amazing. You are within walking distance of most major attractions, restaurants, shops, rooftop bars, beautiful cathedrals and charming plazas. I recommend this hotel 100%.

The area is wonderful, many sites in walking distance. For the most part it was great. The breakfast was amazing. But, the staff was hit and miss--some staff was amazing and others were absolutely horrible. While we were checking out they tried to charge me for alcohol I had taken back to the front desk the night before (as my family member can't have alcohol), it was cleared up but the lack of communication is obvious.

The hotel looks very nice. These are the issues I had. The water temp varied drastically and became dangerously hot. They threw away my mostly full shampoo. When I told the front desk she said she would check with housekeeping and she never said another word to me. The AC in the room did not work. They never gave me pods for the coffee maker. When I used it for hot water, what came out was really gross. I had the flush it 6 or 7 times before the water was clear. The front door is randomly locked and once I had to wait several minutes for someone to open it.

This is a gorgeous hotel. The property is unique, very well maintained, and in an excellent location. Breakfast was the best we had in our travels in Ecuador. Staff was super professional and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers!

Great stay for history or architecture buffs. We stayed in room with 2 levels. Bed was wonderful. Bathroom was modern. The floors creaked a bit much but it is an older building. Restaurant was nice. Staff was great but food was just ok.

Gorgeous hotel in a beautifully restored colonial mansion. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast serves each morning. Highly recommended! This has to be one of the best hotels in Cuenca! (Tip: ask for a room with a window that faces outside)

Excelente decoración. Me asusta un poco de noche por su estilo antiguo, pero de día es maravilloso. Amable oersonal y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Céntrico pero por ello difícil salir y entrar en horas pico. Extrañé los chocolates en la habitación. No usé su restaurante.

In payed $150 dolar per night for a crappy super improvises and small room,. Literally it was like they made a room frlm Warehouse. If you are book that the price has to be according to what you get. The food in the resrurant Expensive and mediocre.
