Drove all night to drop my daughter off at college, moved her in and was exhausted! Called looking for a room ASAP ( this was before noon) and the accommodated us! They had a room clean and ready for us when I got there 10 minutes later! We will make this the hotel we stay at while visiting here from here on out! I’m sure we will be seeing them at least 3x a year! Thank you! You kindness and willingness to accommodate us so quickly will make us forever guests! Planning our next visit in October!

My stay at Candlewood was excellent. The staff was so professional and kind. One particular receptionist Wesley was very helpful and went the extra mile in helping me with my room. He’s a very nice kind soft spoken person. I will return to Candlewood in the near future.

I Came home to visit family. Room was nicely appointed and clean. The room felt a little muggy and moist running AC on 75. Set it to 73 in early AM hours and it seemed to cool the room a little better but still felt like moisture in the air

As a Platinum Elite member I requested a late check put due to a health problem. I got that approved and just prior to 2 pm Housekeeping knocked on my door as I was leaving. I was put aback. I felt rushed and uncomfortable unwelcome and most of all dismissed. I will NOT be returning to that establishment and I have family in that area.

We were only here for one night. The hotel is in a good area with plenty around it as far as food options go. It's not too far from the whirligig Park. You should definitely check that out if you were in the area.

While the staff who registered me was kind and helpful, the person who checked me out at 0500 not. I was disappointed at the lack of a continental breakfast, but that's my fault for not paying attention before reserving the stay. I will stay at another hotel for my next trip.

PROS: Fully equipped kitchen with small radiant stove, potholders, dishes & utinsels. Has small sink but nice sized dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker. CONS: People a few doors down were quite noisy, allowing their door to bang shut loudly. Found two or three small bugs in the room. Hotel itself needs updating. Air conditioning did not seem to adjust much cooler. Bathroom was oddly shaped and small. Could have easily slipped in bathtub (no interior grab bar or slip resistant floor).

I liked everything about this hotel. Convenient to the interstate without the noise. Easy check in with very courteous staff. Clean quiet rooms. All room amenities were clean and worked well. Dining and refueling stations are close and clean.

Clean rooms with well appointed kitchen. Our room 113 needs a new mattress, not comfortable. They allow dogs so could be some barking. It wasn’t bad when we were there but was present.

For the first time in my life after six and a half decades I was required to give them the form of id.. which didn't work even though it had my picture on it and name another form of ID which didn't work even though it had my name and picture on it and then my driver's license which they copied. When I asked why they said because people that live within 50 miles of the hotel can't stay here so we have to get everybody's driver's license. I could understand checking it but they don't have to copy the private information in this day of identity theft. The young lady that checked me in was wonderful. The gentleman that came out while she was checking me in which required all these additional things seemed like he was worried about everybody destroying his property. From the looks of the property you could use a lot of upgrades, was and very poor condition outside and inside in the hallways were dirty. I do have to say that the room was clean, excellent although it was limited kitchen supplies for example two knives two forks. I would not recommend staying there

Just super unsatisfied with the entire experience. Very poor service checking in. Could barely understand the Indian guy at the counter. Was expecting there to be breakfast for what you pay. Also couldn't even get a complimentary bottle of water. I paid for a queen-size bed and only received a full. Not to mention, the bed and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable and we didn't get good sleep. Didn't receive enough towels and washcloths and tried going to the lobby to ask for more and could never find anyone. Just very disappointed and upset paying this much money and not receiving good care and comfort. Will not be staying here again!

Toilet rocked and ran long after flushing. Shower had no pressure and handle was loose. Hard to adjust temperature and get hot water. Television was ontop of a plastic foldout table. Good was full kitchen and price. Most likely to stay away in the future, even with cheaper pricing.

This hotel is not a hotel, it’s a glorified boarding house. In 5 days, housekeeping didn’t visit once. I was told if I wanted clean linens, I had to bring them downstairs and wash them myself. Everything in the rooms are in some state of disrepair. My bed squeaked loudly and the room they switched me to, the bed started doing the same within that day. The hallways and elevator smell constantly like weed and microwaved fish. Other than one person at the front desk, every employee was annoyed to have to speak to me, even when i legitimately needed something. I’ve stayed in Motel 6’s in military towns that were nicer than this place. Never again.

We are in the process of buying a new house and needed temporary housing during this process. I made my reservations almost two weeks in advance. The hotel called me the morning of my check in and asked for my zip code, once i gave it to them they said that they needed to cancel my reservation because they do not rent to locals, anyone within 50 miles. What a inconvenience, i think that is a ridiculous rule and a form of discrimination.

Open hole in the ceiling of the bathroom where vent should be, hot water barely dripping at the bathroom sink, no kind of breakfast served, was told if I lived within 50 miles they could not rent me a room. Rooms need a lot of maintenance and updating. Won't return.

This hotel looks like it has seen better days unfortunately. We had no hot water in the shower as the knob was broken to turn toward hot. The toilet flusher handle was also cracked and broken. The bathroom door handle was barely hanging on.

A very nice hotel, the room had a little kitchen which was nice due to our lengthy stay! Housekeeping was only to come once a week, but would have been nice if they would have at least stopped by to ask if we needed anything. We had to go to the front desk a few times for items. They have no complimentary breakfast and the items they had for sale were way over priced. Free laundry was nice as well as the little gym they have.
