We arrived at 11.30am so knew our room would be be ready. We were welcomed by a lovely receptionist who immediately set about giving us our all inclusive wrist bands so we could start our holiday. She told us to head back after lunch when our room would be ready. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails each, then our lunch and a walk to the promenade before checking in to our bungalow. The bungalow was decorated in white and was clean and spacious There was a lounge/diner with a sofa, English TV, and a dining area, with patio doors leading to our private outdoor seating area. There was also a bedroom to the rear and a shower room. To the rear was an enclosed garden… too hot to sit in but ideal for drying clothes on the airer. Food was good, as were drinks. There seemed to be just one drinks menu which is kept behind the bar so just ask for it. Meals can be eaten inside or outside and outdoor tables are laid at mealtimes. The resort is shielded from the wind so always warm and calm. It’s much windier outside. Mini golf was covered in gravel so couldn’t be used but we walked up a nearby volcano and also walked along the promenade to the strip of shops. Both walks were lovely, picturesque and not too far. There were 2 pools, a jacuzzi and plenty of sunbeds even with people reserving theirs by 8am There was a singer on each night for entertainment. This was a lovely peaceful resort. If you’re looking for a chilled hot holiday this is the place for you.

The overall setting of the resort is excellent. Unfortuantely, some of the furnishing in the bungalows needs a replacement and the breakfast had almost no variation over 7 days.

This accommodation was hugely disappointing. Very small, with basic living furniture and in dire need of repair. On the first night the bungalow entry lock was faulty and we had to call for someone to try and open the door for us. It had to be repaired the following morning. My husband got an electric shock from some exposed wires below the bedside light. No soap was provided for the hand basin and the shower had little power with only a curtain screen. The shower plumbing was also hanging off the wall. The coffee from the machines at breakfast was undrinkable. Price-wise it was comparable with the smart hotels nearby! Maybe the price seemed more reasonable for those on an all-inclusive package which seemed to be the majority of guests.. Thankfully we were only there for 2 nights.

The air conditioning in our bungalow did not work and they were unable to do anything until the following day. It was 31 degrees and we were offered a fan. Neither myself or my wife slept that night. Not sleeping ruined the following day as we were like zombies. Trying to get a taxi was a complete joke. We had to wait and hour. Completely unaware it would take so long and having to wait outside wasn’t pleasant at all.

The locks are inconsistent and need changing.

Bungalows are perfect air conditioned couch tv two chairs dining table with a decent shower and hairdryer. Wi-Fi wouldn’t work for us but we didn’t bother trying to fix it either as we didn’t really need/want it. Pool area is nice decent number of beds however it’s dead silent it’s missing some background music. We only found out on the last day that there was activities we could have done throughout the day but nobody approached us to make us aware of this. Food was good it’s all inclusive we know it’s not going to be gourmet but we had a choice every night and were pleased with everything. Staff in the restaurant were very good and abdul in the bar was very fast! Entertainment was the exact same every night one person singing 70s and 80s which was fine except they all sing the same songs so very repetitive. Overall though we went for a relaxing trip and that’s exactly what we had!

Loved our stay. quiet and relaxing. The food and staff were great We booked a Sea View (and paid for it!} but only got sea glimpses. Did report this on you checking in feed back but the hotel incorrectly said it had been resolved with us - it had not. We didn't want to ruin our stay by complaining so left it. Loved it there and would return but would NOT pay for a sea view!

Lovely and friendly staff. Great selection of different foods in restaurant. Kept very clean everywhere. Lots of sunbeds all around the pools. It was very peaceful and quiet at night and if you wanted to you could take a short walk along the seafront to shops bars and restaurants. Everyone we spoke to were either returners or first timers who wanted to return.

The hotel is average, wouldn’t rate it more than 2 stars! Pro - located on the south coast of the island, sea view, walking distance to bus stop, lighthouse and a few small bars/restaurants. Playas Papagayo 2 hours walk away or 30 mins/1 hour by bus/car. Cons - Basic bungalow accommodation, cold shower (hot for 30 secs only!), single beds put together to make a double, not a great variety of food at dinner time and food labels not clear (careful if you are intolerant to specific ingredients as they aren’t specified - always ask the chef), breakfast lacking of sweet spreads (chocolate/peanut butter) and burnt pancakes! Also, not the best customer service, the staff kept themselves to themselves and never even mentioned there’s a lovely sauna area with showers within the hotel.. by the time we realised there was a sauna it was too late for us to use it! And it would have been included in the price! Overall, Playa Blanca is a quiet area ideal for who wants to stay away from the busy side of Lanzarote and wants to visit the Papagayo beaches, however I’ve seen other hotels around the area which could be possibly offering a bit more than the Marconfort Bungalows. I wouldn’t personally book again.

Pleasant stay T Atlantic Gardens, this being our second. Good food, plentiful and varied and served hot! Room comfortable Beds very comfortable. Weather not too great this time, but about what you expect for January. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely situated out of the back gate and on to the promenade. It's a bit of a walk into Playa Blanca of around 40 minutes but the taxi's are plentiful and very reasonably priced. Be very aware of THE step outside the bar and dining room. It falls from about half an inch to four inches over about 10 feet. My wife missed the step and fell awkwardly. We would recommend it to other travellers and we would be happy to stay here again.

We booked a sea view and fed back to Hotels.com that it wasn’t really a sea view. Very quickly the local management reacted and moved us to a junior suite with a great sea view. The food and service were excellent. We were also very impressed with the amount of time the maids spent cleaning the rooms daily. The all inclusiveness was very relaxed with no fuss.

This is a very pleasant complex. Bungalows are spacious and well distributed throughout the fine gardens. Calm and very good value quality-prix.Tout compris a good formula as the hotel is well outside the resort centre. A recommendé!!

A quiet bungalow resort , well laid out and adults only. The all inclusive was fair but not great. Rooms were ok with bedroom bathroom and living area with cleaning ever other day. Staff were friendly and efficient.Check in was not so good as we arrived on time at 2pm but our room was nor ready until 3.30pm.

This is a great hotel with plenty of food and drink choices, with some nice evening entertainment in an excellent location. Bungalows are a little tired but clean and comfortable. My only negative comment would be the housekeeping is only every other day which is not advised at check in or in the literature provided. We would go back to this resort for another quiet and relaxing break

I stayed over the Christmas and New Year period and was very pleased with the efforts made by the hotel and all staff to make this period special. The evening buffets on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve where excellent. So much effort had gone into the food and presentation the kitchen staff must hardly have stopped in their efforts to make each of these meals memorable. Only problems was location with little to see locally and the need to hire taxis to travel into the town and/or Marina.

A good value stay in a clean quiet complex bungalows a bit dated but clean and tidy.staff very friendly with one exception,they all work hard and the matre de was very good at telling me what I could eat and what to avoid,l Am on a gluten free diet.the only downside was the attitude of the person running the activities,who was very rude and arrogant when we asked to borrow the stones to play boules he point blank refused saying we might lose them although this was supposed to be a hotel activity,we are reasonable players and have played all over the world and never experienced this before and his dismisive way we were spoken to is not what one expects.

The bungalows are well designed and carefully maintained within the interesting black soil gardens. Everyone was friendly and helpful and we never had a problem finding a lounger at the poolside. Liked the adults only ambience of the hotel. Evening entertainment was fairly pedestrian and predictable but people seemed to enjoy themselves.

Lovely bungalows with patio. Very quiet and chilled atmosphere without noisy kids. Mostly middle aged and retired British couples. Good food buffet and snacks. Only downside is the main pool is freezing- sea was actually warmer! Nice walks along to lighthouse and Playa Blanca but not much in the immediate area.

Comfortable bungalow close to the sea promenade. Food was reasonable and the place was well kept. No children there so it was quiet. It was a long but pleasant walk along the promenade into the centre of town but there are shops, bars and a beach close by.
