A bit worn out but with proper necessities. 30min walk to Forio,

The resort is located on a hill overlooking Forio (on Iskea island). The view is amazing and the 3 thermal pools are great. Staff was friendly and resort was very clean. However, some of the front office staff were somewhat disorganized. Our bill wasn't ready when we were checking out and the hairdryer in the unit wasn't working and they were not able to replace it. Internet also was poor - which was an issue for me to be on several video calls. Overall, very nice place - but some operational issues (not sure if corona related) that needs to be ironed out.

Our family of four had such a nice, relaxing time at this resort. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with two twin beds and one king size bed. The resort facilities were neatly kept and designed to maximize the stunning views of the sea and sunset. There were a few quaint little shops and restaurants to explore within walking distance. The weather was cool, so it was the perfect time of year to enjoy the heated outdoor pools. This was our kids' favorite stop on our Amalfi Coast tour, and we would definitely go back.

We paid for a double comfort room. We were shown a room in a separate annex which had black mold on the ceiling. We were then shown another 4 rooms which were as equally as bad (most of the rooms were tired and smelt). We spent the first night in 1 of these rooms with an appalling smell and a rock hard bed. On the second day we were moved to another room which looked like if had been updated in the last few years (still with hard beds) but it resembled a room from a 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star hotel. The manager and reception staff were rude to us and were not accommodating. There are also extras for robes and towels which I wouldn’t expect from a 4 star spa hotel. On the last day when it came to checking out, the reception staff ignored us and served the Italians until they had to serve us. I find their behavior unacceptable. We felt very unwelcome at the hotel.

Not sure if we attended to the resort at the wrong time but it was basically a retirement community that nickle and dimes you for everything. Staff is unfriendly and unhelpful.

If you are after Quality beauty and health treatments- Sorriso is THE place. Wonderful facials, outstanding massages, and absolutely top professional no-mercy physio. I needed post-shoulder-operation recovery, and Sorriso spa intensive treatments worked miracles. Combined with mineral water swimming pools at the hotel and nearby Poseidon Park (fantastic..!) even a 9 day stay produced outstanding results. I didn’t care about little inconveniences like room size etc; the hotel is clean, lots of flowers, beautiful views- good value for money. Therefore I give Sorriso top score - with gratitude! Would definitely come again.

It is a bit of a journey car, plane, car, ferry and car again but once arrived it is certainly worth the while. The hotel resort is set into the hills at various levels. Breakfast is taken alfresco with breathtaking views of the sea and landscape. It has a private walkway to Citara beach but this is a mixture of steps so not accessible if you need assistance walking/in a wheelchair but the hotel does offer a shuttle to/from the beach. The pool facilities were very clean, the service was very good and the staff were very accommodating/helpful. Our room was spacious and had a balcony with beautiful sea views and watching the sunset was amazing. We tried a seafood restaurant on Citara beach, the setting was perfect and got a taxi into Fario port two nights (15 euros each way) to try out local restaurants there as well as walking around the town shopping late evening, it has a lovely atmosphere. Negombo and Poseidon Thermal Parks are also certainly worth a visit ... Poseidon can be reached via the walkway from Sorriso Resort Hotel. We arranged a private guided tour of the island in a Tuk Tuk which meant we got to tour around the whole of the island which was well worth doing. Ischia is a beautiful island and certainly well worth a visit ... we shall certainly be returning.

nice hotel , well located, very helpful staff, but very different quality of rooms . Some are nices , some are awful ,, you need to be lucky ) But , all very clean / and good breakfast / nice wellness center. Let s say i could recommand it to my grand mother, but i will not go with my girl friend )

The hotel location was great. The pools were fantastic. HOWEVER if you are staying over the weekend DO NOT stay in the sea view rooms that are located under the Oasis resturuant. On Friday night a private wedding rented out the place and blasted music till 4am and then the resturuant itself has a regular band on Saturday until 2am. The Oasis is apparently owned by someone else but blends into the property and the rooms sit directly underneath. This baffled me as there was actually a sign that said "Quite Zone" but the music, regardless of private events, happens every weekend till the wee hours of the morning... oh, and the beds... bring some added padding as you can literally feel the springs in your back. Otherwise, great place.

The location is ideal: walking distance to the beach and Poseidon, and on the main bus line. The sea view from our rooms was spectacular, especially at sunset. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices. Take advantage of the pools and spa! The staff was excellent, especially Pasquale at the front desk. The two problems we encountered were: 1) parking is a challenge. 2) The air conditioning in our friends' room wasn't working. Every day, they were told it would be fixed. Finally, on the 4th day of our 5 days there, it was fixed. The hotel should have offered them a different room or fixed it the first day.

The hotel is really good- property, food, location, but!Unfortunately the service is not on good 4stars level. The receptionists tryed to give a room of low category located outside hotel 300-400m on the hill. It's very unpleasant surprise as later you will e given the promises, but tillt the date when the hotel will be empty... Nobody interested in you anymore. WI-FI doesn't work will even on reception. Nobody solves it if doesn't work. Answer- come later. Near reception you can see a lot of people but work professionally (or work) only 2-3people. Waiters discuss clients near your table. one more thing is a loud music - loud is really loud... and till1-2am if it's ok for20 people who dance can be unpleasant surprise. So hotel-place-nature- property condition- is perfect- add on- service is under Question- is it 4star hotel?!

Nice resort with thermal pool and underground full spa service

Service was great. Every staff member went out of their way to help accommodate us. But, the hotel facility did not meet 4 star standards. The air conditioning and wifi were not working well, they charged for a towel at the pool everyday. They gave us a hard time when we asked for ice cubes. No room service.

I was disapointed for the location of the room, i had asled 2 beds they gave 1 which they fixed, the telephone was not working, there was moldnon wall, I asked for a wake up call for 6:30am, they called at 7.not enough communication and information. But the staff was very nice as well as the chauffers who took us to Poséidon and to the port (very courtous) the manager also

I went for job for one day, but I received all I want.

An excellent hotel with wonderful facilities, great health resort. good specialists. close to a wonderful spa park,. Staff at the Sorriso Thermae are excellent, very helpful, always willing to assist. Reception staff are great and will do anything they can to help.. Frequent minibus to the beach and back.. great time. nearby , be prepared to pay about £30 for a day visit to the spa park.. but it has wonderful spa and sauna. great scenery and plenty of places to chill out.

Hotel was ok, but as some other reviews stated, we think the hotel caters more to germans. Language was a problem (but we don't speak any Italian). Some employees were helpful, however. We were put in room 130, and they said it was quiet and away from dance club area. Well, the hotel right above ours played LOUD banging music until 1:00 AM. Air conditioning barely worked, so the noise couldnt be drowned out. A man came at 11 PM after we came to the room after dinnerwhen we called about AC not working, but couldnt do anything about it. We were disappointed, but at least the thermal pools were nice and relaxing. Signs everywhere that you couldnt reserve lounge chairs, but by the time we got to the pools, all were taken...yep, with beach towels and nobody around. Good location with beautiful views, and free shuttle to/from ports.

Spent a week in April, weather was very good enjoined outside pools and inside pool, Spa was very good , hotel restaurant was very good compared to price

mediocre service; especially receptionists had a hard time to crack a smile. food was an absolute disaster. they couldn't even get the pasta right - let alone more complex food. absolute no atmosphere. hotel bar is allowed to play music on only two nights per week (!). bar mixer has no clue how to prepare cocktails. they have their four star because they are apparently a Spa Resorts, but one sauna for two hundred hotel guests - one small pool cramped with people makes it a very uninspiring experience. the hotel rooms were furnished with outdated closets, beds, year old and uneven matrices and a tiny TV set attached to the wall close to the ceiling. it felt like a prison cell.

The staff was very kind. The inside of the MAIN hotel was nice. The food was good. Our servers were very kind. However, we went during off-season. A lot of shops/restaurants were closed. The parts of the hotel we stayed in were not maintained. There was mold on the ceiling, drywall dust on furniture, ants in our room, and the shower door was broken. They moved us to a new location. In the new location we couldn't get any wifi. The mattresses are very flat and uncomfortable and so are the pillows. If it was just a few things, I wouldn't haven't cared, but it was a LOT of problems. They just need to upgrade the rooms, make sure everything is working properly and make sure they are actually CLEAN.

The hotel was a bus ride from the ferrt port, and was very nice. Restaurants good (the best octopus I ever ate!) and the pools were nice. The hotel seems to cater to German visitors, and some signs were only in Italian and German; tricky for English speakers. Fortunately the menus were in English. the spa services were so nice that I went back for more, and could have done even more with more time. AC did not seem to work in room, but windows opened. I thought it was a good value and would go back.
