One night attending a concert. Clean attractive hotel and rooms, centrally located. No onsite parking, but 2 nearby car parks available. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very comfortable stay.

A reliable option in Exeter - service is warm and friendly. We had drinks/dessert in the bar which we would not recommend. Rooms are very no-frills, from toiletries to the bedding. However, extremely clean. Would think it's more a 3 star offering vs 4 in terms of offer.

Nice hotel, very modern communal areas and bedroom. Nice and quiet room. Comfy beds. Lots of space. Only downside was the bathroom, very date and could be cleaner. Otherwise, a great stay.

One night stay with late arrival - staff at the bar were great and got us a vegan burger sorted even though it was 9pm and the lady was so nice and friendly - thank you!

Nice hotel, pleasant and spacious room. Food was good, plenty of chioce at the breakfast buffet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I've found that Leonardo Hotels can be a bit hit and miss these days, some have let themselves go a bit but I have no such concerns with this one.

Room very clean, cosy and comfortable. Reception and bar/restaurant staff both very friendly and efficient. The hotel is a very short walk from the city center and a 10 minute drive from the university. The only negatives were not a lovely view from my window - the post office and a car park - and the road is quite noisy, but I chose to have the window open instead of using the air con so it probably would have been quieter if I’d closed my window. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Good location very walkable to the town centre. Parking available but hotel did not provide any prior instructions about how payment should be made. Pretty basic hotel akin to premier inn or travel lodge so think we vastly overpaid. Room looked quite tired, shower not great and some tolietries missing. Bed was comfortable enough but pillows were rock hard. If you are happy with basic and good location this hotel might still be for you.

Good location, nice rooms. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choices. Getting to/from hotel a little difficult due to fast moving traffic and culdesac. Would like to have an exercise room.

The hotel was a short walk from the central Exeter and the cathedral. Located in a quiet area, but once we found a shortcut into the centre, we did not mind it. The hotel itself is fairly basic. The bathroom was really small, but clean and hot shower. The bed was a good size but the pillows were not comfortable. The room needs more hooks to hang towels and clothes. Overall a good affordable hotel with the basic amenities.

I’m writing from a disabled point of view. We aren’t wheel chair bound but both suffer from sever arthritis. It’s becoming more difficult to find hotel rooms with king size beds which is essential when needing to move at night due to problems but these rooms don’t have shower rooms that make it difficult to get in and out of baths to shower. They have lifts to all floors and large for wheelchairs to easily manoeuvre in. The place is clean, staff friendly, Evening food and drinks are excellent but the breakfasts seem to have problems keeping hot. Porridge was always cold, the main breakfast course was either just warm or tepid and that was every morning, I just couldn’t work out why when it was every dish and we were early each morning. Also if you have Blue Badge tell the receptionist as they’ll explain where there’s free parking not at the discounted parking. Apart from breakfast we liked this hotel especially I try ever have accessible rooms with king size beds.

I love this hotel. Stayed several times now. Great service. Attentive housekeeping. Great bar and bar staff. Superb location - convenient to the cinema (right opposite), town centre, convenience store about 3 minutes walk, and the National Express coach stop is about 4 minutes walk away.

Very central property to town centre.Quick check in.Pity no car parking provided and due to late check in 12 nb would not give reduced car parking rate for car park across the road.Room lovely with blackout curtains which is appreciated.Early traffic noise but is beside a main roundabout

Been here before and stayed now as part of a longer trip. Central location for all amenities,staff ever so friendly and helpful couldnt do enough to make our stay a great one. Rooms clean tidy and clean. Bed very comfortable clean as was bathroom. See you again. So many attractions and places to visit within area of 20 miles

Room was comfortable,check in was easy although we waited whilst 3-4 staff members just stood and we weren’t acknowledged.Nothing was mentioned about parking but we overheard the details when someone else was checking in. Breakfast was nice,lady who checked our room number seemed like she didn’t want to be there,I asked her if there was any bread as it was all empty and she said ‘yeah give me a minute’ and did not seem interested at all. Overall the stay was meh,myself and my husband were celebrating our 10th Wedding anniversary but there wasn’t anything special about the hotel or stay to be honest

We had very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel and would definitely return. We didn’t visit the bar but it looked very nice. Breakfast selection was great. Coffee was good. This was my first visit to Exeter and the hotel was perfectly located to easily reach shops and restaurants. The welcome and customer service was excellent.

Hotel was well situated for what we wanted to do in Exeter. Clean and friendly staff on the whole. Given a voucher for free drink but house wine unpalatable but bar staff not interested! Should have been warned about need to prebook table for dinner

There's always available water near the restaurant Food they serve is good.There's a lift its easy for you most if youve got luggage with u,near the convenience store but theres also available drinks and water plus crisp near the receptionist If you cant check in earlier and you had a luggage theres a storage. The only thing that needs changing is their pillow its too flat it cant support the head properly apart from that its lovely hotel...

Clean and comfortable enough but the room had a connecting door which meant i could clearly hear my not so quiet neighbour! Also no loo rool in the bathroom. No offer of my free drink at reception and difficult to find on my booking.

Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Exeter. Special thanks to the hotel manager and one of the hotel staff members for swiftly taking care of the air conditioner issue; despite ending up being wet in the process you both have handled the issue with grace and kindness.
