The room is large and roomy. Temperture control worked great. The rooms were quiet.
The swiming pool and the indoor and outdoor hot pools wer working fine.

Service was great and every employee we spoke to was very helpful and kind. However, during our stay I lost a ring and while looking for the ring I found a condom wrapper underneath the night stand and upon further examination found trash in other areas. I think it is a reasonable expectation to have all areas swept and vacuumed between guests. Finding a condom wrapper in a room you already slept in is incredibly unsanitary and upsetting.

Beautiful hoyel. Only complaint was bed. Felt like we were sleeping with our head down and feer upnin air. Also beding was very scratchy because of soooo much starch

Beautiful, clean room. Only complaint was that Housekeeping banged on and immediately opened our door at 8:20am Sunday morning!! Are you kidding me? Checkout is 11am, calm down lady

We have stayed here couple times now and it is a nice hotel but the beds are not very good quality. They at least need a down topper on each bed because its not very comfortable and my should went to numb a few times.

Well we first arrived around 7p and that was fine but then they stated they were overbooked by 30 rooms! I booked our hotel over a month in advance and paid for a deluxe king, well with them being overbooked we did not get the room we paid for and were downgraded, without any discount. Other than the front desk and hosts being incapable of doing their job and our room being a little dirty things on the way no trash bags in the trash etc, our stay was great,
We ate at the buffet and the food was amazing!! The bar downstairs has good drinks.
I recommend if booking with Ameristar please book through their website so you don’t run into any issues with them being overbooked.

The room is lovely and the bathroom is spacious, clean and modern.
The bed itself was a little hard and the pillows are too big, bulky and heavy. We both felt like they were to high and our necks are stiff this morning. Additionally, the linens feel cheap.
It’s a wonderful room for hanging out in, just not so much for getting rest!

We booked, and paid for, a king size room. Upon arrival there were not any king size rooms available and we ended up in an ADA two queen bed room. They said that the room type was not guaranteed through 3rd party reservation systems. This was incredibly disappointing since we were up for my wife's birthday and we booked well in advance.

The room was very clean, beds comfy. The hotel itself was cozy, inviting. It was also within walking distance from the other casinos. And the bathroom was gorgeous!

The hotel it self is very nice but costomer service at the front desk leaves alot to be desired. Went to check in and the staff continued their personal conversations for a while before even acknowledging us standing there, no hello no anything. The worker covered up her name with her hair so we couldnt report it. Very rude.

The property itself was ok and worth the value, but almost every employee we encountered were unhelpful and rude. The front desk attendant upon check in was the the only courteous and friendly interaction we had during our entire stay.

This was a great place to stay. We booked through Hotels.com and found that we did not get the same benefits as we would have if we had booked through the players rewards program. Still it was a great place, but the pool and hottub (outside) were closed for repairs during our stay. We were made aware of it in advance, so it was not an issue. Would stay again!

Pool was closed for maintenance which we did not know. Room took along time to be comfortable temperature. Bathroom floor very cold, needed slippers(if you new to bring)

The room was great, won some money in the casino. The onle disappointment was the pool/ hot tubs was closed for repairs.

Very nice hotel. My only complaint is that we had to pay $20 to check in early. Then that evening our keys didn't work. We left by 9 am the next day, so I think that early check in fee is ridiculous.

We go to Ameristar as a quick get away from Denver to use the pool and dining. The pool and the hot tubs are great and the hotel provides lot of towels on site. The food and service at the Fireside restaurant were very good.

Upon check in, we were “upgraded” due to being on our honeymoon- it was anything but that. The issues were abundant! The a/c didn’t work in the room, the bathtub wouldn’t hold water, mold in the shower, burn? Spot in the carpet, bed was wobbly and couldn’t move without it sounding as though it would fall apart. The hotel and parking are extremely inconvenient. Extremely limited food and dining options, added to an already disappointing experience. We actually enjoyed the casino across the street much more and would recommend The Lodge over the Ameristar! They have multiple dining options with more user friendly hours. Stay anywhere else!!!

We have a person who is in a wheelchair. The streets outside the hotel are horrible, and we almost had two accidents because of the conditions of the streets, the doors are not wide enough for a wheelchair, the elevators are locked, and you have to get a security guard every time you want to go from the lower part of the casino to the upper and vice versa. The staff did not give my parents a room that was wheelchair accessible even though it was requested at booking. They also charged my parents an additional $70 when I paid for everything upfront, and they should have only been charged $22. I am unhappy with the treatment by the staff and with the Ameristar. My family travels frequently and has had way better accommodations in other countries than in our own state. We will definitely not be staying at the Ameristar ever again!
