Nice hotel, friendly staff. The room was very small and the beds were very uncomfortable. I’d say old mattresses. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with so many desserts and healthy options including freshly squeezed orange juice. Dinner was great and beautiful live piano kept us entertained in the evening. The location is 100% perfect. Great overall experience except for the beds in my room.

Staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived . Veronica terrific.. the hotel was great location . Hotel needs to updated . The mattress was something I haven’t felt in almost 30 years . Could feel the coils . But with such a wonderful staff it made up for it . Internet was very slow

Perfect hotel, lovely and clean. Rooms amazing, really large and quite. They had a pianist in the lobby to stop and have a drink which was nice. The area of the hotel is perfect walking distance to all attractions but also can get to all the main bus route in a 2 min walk. Streets surrounding hotel is great for nightlife, loads of bars and restaurants but you can't hear it in the hotel which was great.Also lots of secruity as the bank is opposite so there were always people from the army around the area. I felt safe being by myself late at night as it's always a busy area. Only suggestion would be skip the breakfast and go to the bakery round the corner, great coffee and pistachio croissants!

Great classy hotel very conveniently located. The main hall is a beautiful courtyard with a fountain. The service was outstanding. The room was spacious with a full bath. There were a couple of negatives. First, the hallways on our floor were a bit worn and required some updating. Second, there were only 3 English language channels in the TV programming. Otherwise, this was a very nice hotel which guarantees a pleasant stay.

The property was good and location convenient. The WiFi did not work in the room so I had to work in the lobby area. While there I was having a drink and working when the waiter came shouting at me. I tried to explain that I had to check email and make calls and he told me go to go to my room because I could not be drinking a beverage that was not purchased onsite. I told him to charge me for a drink so I could continue working. I have never been spoken to in this manner by hotel staff. Uncalled for and completely unprofessional.

Excellent experience. I was impressed with everyone I interacted with from reception & the extra help navigating town, to servers at breakfast eager to make me cappuccino or freshly squeezd orange juice & the manager of the bistro who catered to my special request & celebrated with me my success at passing my open water PADI scuba certification. It's a beautiful place with exceptional people!

This hotel has four stars, but in my opinion it would certainly deserve a fifth one. It's right in the historic centre, but located between a lovely quiet square and a narrow ancient street, which makes it a very quiet environment - an island of silence right in the middle of a very loud and busy city. Very friendly staff, cool classic and relatively spacious rooms, and of course the lounge (which looks like a medieval cloister) with a live pianist is breathtaking. On second thought - the hotel might be just perfect without a fifth star - I wouldn't want the extremely reasonable prices to go up :)

The hotel was centrally located in an area with many bars and restaurants and there was a lot of nightlife around. It was walking distance to several of the major tourist spots such as the cathedral etc. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet, nice lobby and nice classic hotel room wooden furniture etc. good cleaning, good service and a very nice hotel in general.

Was a good hotel, nice building but the service and the breakfast was not good. Totally empty at the breakfast and no people there, we asked to have the car until 17:00 the day of checking out. Was still half empty at the parking space when we got our car back at 16:00, they refused to let us have it there until 17:00 even though the price of the parking was €18 and lots of space.

The property was an old bank, evidence of old safety deposit boxes and fault doors. The enclosed courtyard was normally open to the elements, partial closed for shade in the afternoon. The staff was outstanding! Would stay there again if we’re in the area. The things that we didn’t like were: The speaker in the bathroom was very annoying. Anytime you had the television on It was blaring in the bathroom. Bathtub was probably 6 inches taller than most bathtubs and very dangerous. There was a half wall for the shower portion, but it did not have a curtain so it was always water on the floor when you finished. The bathtub/shower was very dangerous and slippery. Actually my girlfriend fell the first day there getting out of the shower/bathtub very slippery floor in the tub and getting out of the tub on the marble floor. Also the bathtub drain needed to be cleaned because as you were showering, the water could run run out quick enough so you would be usually standing in 2 to 3 inches of water every time you took a shower. The breakfast area was unbelievable. The only negative was that the eggs even though we’re in a warmer they were always cold! The staff in the breakfast area were unbelievable. Also like to mention that the staff that made up the rooms were very friendly and did a very good job. We would stay there again.
