Booked 2 nights apt with mountain and golf view top floors , instead at check in got apt first floor facing big building on top of reception After pushing hard they found a compromise with apt top floor with windows facing the mountain but with balcony having no view at all squeezed between two walls We wanted to stay one night more as we planned originally 3 nights but could not find the availability at time of booking , regretfully we were refused as any extension can be granted only to bookings of 3 nights and more, this is the residence rule. Unbelievable, they had vacancy available but as set by the rules we could not enjoy one extra night . Not a good treatment for a regular customer using this chain of residence hotels since many years ,

We opened the 2019 summer season at CGH Les Dolines and can report a really pleasant stay overall. The staff is polite, cheerfull and helpfull, willing to make your stay a pleasant one. The residence is well maintained and really clean, on the outside as well as inside the apartments. They enjoy recent equipments, beds, etc., which is great in order to rest after a long day walking, golfing, etc. A few minor issues: the wifi is a bit slow, the parking is to be paid on top and the views from the rooms are not so nice. A good choice of stay and an enjoyable week for us !

Stayed at other CGH Résidences and this is exactly as you would expect. The rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped - make sure you check the inventory though! The hotel is close to a small shop, ski rental, slopes and restaurants. WiFi is a bit painful as it's slow and you can only have two devices at a time and constantly have to login again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly service at reception and enjoyed the fresh croissants and baguettes that could be ordered each night for delivery the next morning. The pool and spa area was fantastic. Very clean, with two sauna's/steam rooms so never felt overcrowded. We all made great use of these facilities. Our apartment was clean and had everything we could possibly need for a week. The living area was quite a bit smaller than expected but the bedroom was a little bigger than expected, so we didn't mind too much. Our friends also stayed here and their apartment had a better layout which seemed much more spacious and meant when the kids pullout bed was made up, it didn't affect the rest of the space in the room. The location is very good and as Montgenevre is a fairly compact resort, everything was in easy reach. We used the free ski bus in the morning to get to the main lifts and at the end of the day which was very useful, however, the bus back to the apartment took longer than it did to walk as it took a longer route to the end of the resort and through the tunnel. The boot room was well used by us too. The only small issue was that we were advised there was a secure location to store our bags as we arrived before check-in, however, we had to leave everything beside the reception desk. Not a huge problem but would rather bags were out of sight and secure. If we return to Montgenevre, which I'm sure we will, we would stay here again.

We always stay with CGH when we go skiing as they have the best services for skiers. Lockers for the skis and boots.. Boots are kept warm and dried with hot air. After skiing you can jump into a Jacuzzi swim in the pool or warm yourself up in the Hamam or Sauna. If you have any energy after a hard day skiing you can also spend some time in the gym. CGH Dolines was very close to the slope I literally put on my skis just outside the hotel and skied down to the drag lift just next to the hotel. Definitely the closest spot of all the CGH hotels we have stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay at CGH Résidences & Spas Le Chalet des Dolines! The location in the charming village Montgenevre is great (direct ski slope and ski lift access, close to grocery store, ski rentals, etc) and the 4-persons appartment is very nice and well-equiped. The service is superb, we very much enjoyed our contact with the very friendly and customer-oriented employees. The Montgenevre ski area is beautiful, especially off-season with close to zero waiting times. The Spa O Cimes in the basement deserves a positive remark as well, with high quality facilities (hammam, jacuzzi, sauna, pool). In all aspects 5 out of 5!
