We had a fabulous stay at the Gold Suites in June 2024. The views from the hotel are jaw dropping, the staff is so kind and helpful, and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. In keeping with the luxury concept, you’ll get welcome drinks and nightly turn-down service and lots of fresh towels and such. We got the room with the private pool. It was so very lovely.
We struggled to decide between staying in world-famous Oia (where the famous blue-domed buildings are) or where Gold Suites is. We are SO glad we chose Gold Suites due to the droves of tourists and cruise line day trippers in Oia. We didn’t have to deal with any of that obnoxious level of tourism. There are good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel that are also cheaper than Oia.
Know that taxi rides are bracingly expensive between towns on the island, but it’s easy to get around if needed and the hotel will help with transfers. However, you may find that relaxing at the hotel is all you need!

We loved our stay at the gold suites. We were on our honeymoon and had the best time. The room was spacious and we loved the outside balcony area. The location of the hotel was great and we did not have a lot of steps. The staff were all amazing and always willing to help. The view from the room was spectacular. It was that santorini moment. The breakfast is served by time slots so if you need a certain time slot the next day go early to book yours so it doenst fill up. The portions are on the smaller side so order a bit extra.
The only downside I would say Is the hot tub wasn’t all that hot so we could not enjoy it as much. The shower was also a bit cold. Despite those two things, I would recommend the hotel and recommend staying here.

Excellent location with great sunset and Caldera views. Junior suite furniture very shabby , sofa was stained, water from shower didnt drain away properly and came back up through another drain in the bathroom and flooded it sometimes. Bed was very comfortable though. Cocktails and snacks were great from the pool bar. Outlook immediately in front of hotel had building materials thrown on to it from a building site literally next to our junior suite (although there wasnt any active building going on during our stay), which could have been camouflaged better. Staff very friendly.

Had a wonderful 5 days with Gold Suites. The room service was very good and accommodating for a vegetarian, the bar made killer cocktails, and theres plenty of food options within 5 min walk of the property. We reserved the Gold Suite and loved the spacious room, private pool and absolutely stunning view. The spa options were also plentiful, really enjoyed the cliffside massage and honeymoon treatments. The staff were super friendly and helped so much with room orders, ordering taxis, and giving reccs. There were a few issues, our in-room safe didn’t work and our shower’s hammam was a bit weak. Overall, I would definitely stay with them again.

Gold Suites made our stay very pleasant. The staff and the hotel were amazing and it smelled so good. I loved our view and the pool. Gold suites is a reason why our vacation was so wonderful, thank you very much. The staff treated us so nice and made us feel special. I definitely want to come back. I also liked the restaurants close to the hotel and the close bus stop and shops.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Gold Suites. The location was great and our particular suite offered us a lot of privacy, which isn’t easily guaranteed given the topography of the area. The views of the caldera are stunning and the property connects directly to the pedestrian path that runs from Fira to Oia.
That said, there were some things we didn’t love so much, particularly given the $600/night price tag. Reception wasn’t very helpful; WiFi was often spotty; no bath mats were provided for the shower. The breakfast was good, but they utilize a delivery slot time system and bring your order to the room. If your preferred time slot on a given day is not available, then you may be left having breakfast at odd times. When we politely requested some more drinking water, they were oddly very reluctant. Lastly, the “hot” tub was more of a “warm” tub, and when we asked about increasing the temperature, we got the runaround and it never happened.

Our stay at the Gold Suites was absolutely wonderful, relaxing and quiet. Maria and her staff went out of their way to help us with everything. View from balcony, served breakfast with caldera view and stunning sunset view were just perfect for our getaway. Hike to Skaros Rock below Imerovigli or Oai was one of the best things to do on Santorini to see dreamy view of aegean sea and make us feel "on top of the world". Location is just perfect to get to many great restaurants nearby or in downtown Fira. We wholeheartedly recommend Gold Suites for anyone 's stay in Santorini island.

I am so excited to review this property. My husband and I came for our 20 yr anniversary and the honeymoon we never had. I read the reviews of so many Santorini hotels and settled here. It was Worth it!
The view was breathtaking and the staff was great! We had the room with the semi-private balcony overlooking the Santorini Caldera, a full spread hand picked breakfast on the balcony every morning. The staff was wonderful on providing suggestions and setting up transportation for us. Santorini owes me nothing! It was so worth the money we spent.
The room was spacious and restaurants/ local markets all in walking distance. You’ll love the location if you are a couple. It’s quiet and perfect for a romantic getaway or honeymoon.

We loved our stay at Gold Suites. The staff was very hospitable and helped us with our ATV booking and gave us great recommendations. We stayed in the superior suite with jacuzzi and a caldera view. Would highly recommend this room! We enjoyed the sunset from here and had delicious breakfast setup on our patio each morning. Housekeeping came each day and left the place spotless. We were glad to stay in Imerovigli since it was really quiet and less crowded. You can walk 20 mins to Fira or rent an ATV and go around the whole island.

Perfect location and you can view the sunset right from your room. It’s a small hotel and the layout is very nice. Our room had a large balcony with a jacuzzi. It was very private. Cleanliness in the bathroom is a huge concern with this place. The shower had about an inch of mold at the bottom up the walls. It had a very bad smell. All the floors in the room were also dirty. They seemed to be swept between guests and not actually moped. Our feet got dirty when walking on them. I’d only recommend staying here if they fixed the cleaning problem. For the price you pay, this place should be spotless.

We had an amazing experience at the Gold suites. The hotel is well located between Fira and Oia. The pool area is beautiful, the room was clean with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed our breakfast in our balcony with the perfect view. Staff is welcoming and service-oriented. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel!

I did a thorough search for a property that had good reviews, nice staff, and a heated pool. We ended up getting more than what we asked for! On our first day we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite without charge due to its availability. Recieved small welcome gifts nearly every day of our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying in Imerovigli.

This place is fantastic. My wife and I stayed here for two nights after staying in Oia the previous 3 nights. We wanted to experience the cave style hotel there but then something more upscale in Imerovigli and Gold Suites fit that bill perfectly. We stayed in the Superior Suite with hot tub and caldera view. The rooms are spacious and upscale. The view us beautiful. The hot tub is plenty large. I can’t think of anything negative to say.
The hotel provides robes, slippers, etc. On the first night they gave us a nice bottle of Santorini white whine, a plate of fresh fruit and a couple of sweet treats. The breakfasts provided were delivered right on time both mornings. The selections are terrific with a large variety of options and everything tasted great. All of the attendants were extremely helpful, setting up an ATV rental, airport transfer and helping with some of our self guided touring of the island including restaurant recommendations. On the last morning the concierge even made some recommendations in Athens when we told them that was our next stop.
Gold Suites really did a great job in helping with our perfect honeymoon in my wife’s dream destination.

It's hard to rate this hotel bc you have some ups and downs. It is located 6 miles from Oia and 1 mile from Fira. We got the room with the view and hot tub.
Pros: View is 2nd to none. Staff is super friendly. Room was really nice and and clean. Location is good. The hotel is in a cul-de-sac, so you have a few restaurants, and a market where you can get snacks, souvenirs, beer, and wine. The market stays open until 12:00am.
You can rent a scooter, ATV, or car from the hotel.
Cons: Hot tub is about the size of your bathtub (just deeper), and about as warm as your tub when you get out. Hot water shower is hit or miss. You might have hot/warm water or you might not. Pool is super small.
Taxi will cost you 25 euro to get to Oia; learn the bus route.

We loved our stay at Gold Suites! Beautiful hotel with a fabulous view. I think the location is one of the best, close to the Skaros rock. Staff was nice, especially Harry was amazing! We even got an upgrade for one night. Only thing you need to know is that the breakfast comes a bit later than ordered. The fact that it comes to your balcony and that you can chose from a menu is great though! I would definitely come back.

The view and the service were amazing. Perched right on the edge of the caldera, the sunsets from our fabulous, spacious room were unforgettable. Eating a huge, personal breakfast on our balcony was so relaxing too. Well worth the price. The staff was also very polite and helpful in every way. Loved this place!!

We came here for our 15th anniversary and we loved this place. We chose it based on the reviews, location, photos, price point and privacy that seems rare in Santorini.
The location is ideal for the sunset. You honestly couldn’t have a better sunset anywhere. People talk about Oia but Imerovigli is way better in my opinion.
The breakfast on the balcony is amazing and abundant. The rooms are clean and typical with good services. We had a hot tub on our balcony and it was all you needed at the end of the day. Again it was private on the balcony unlike many places in Santorini so we enjoyed our time there. We felt like we had a private villa with the best view in Santorini.
100% recommended for a couple looking for a place in Imerovigli.

Amazing views!! We stayed at the Gold Suites for 3 nights and from the time we arrived we were treated like their name Gold. We were upgraded by Nico at the front desk from a deluxe suite to a private grand suite. Spiros at the pool bar area was fantastic.
