The hotel offers excellent value for the price, with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and convenient amenities. However, there was a strong cleaner scent in the room upon arrival, which may bother those sensitive to strong smells. Despite this, everything else was great, making it a solid choice for a budget-friendly stay.

An OK place, but shower ran between hot and cold. If you are staying more than one day be aware they don't make up the room due to "Covid protocols". This is ridiculous since Covid ended almost two years ago.

The hotel welcome was uneventful. Premises clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, our room didn't have a heater which made it for a chilly night stay. Though checkout is at 11:00 a.m. I asked the front office staff for a short extension of 15 min. as we were trying to make it a back from a local race. Had to unfortunately, rush out without a chance for a quick rinse 😩.

The room is outdated, very little privacy in my room facing the parking lot. No air conditioning and no lock on the screen door to leave it open due to the heat and no air conditioner. Needs updates bad. The tv cuts in and out until we asked for help.

The room itself was very comfortable. However, the bed and pillows were so bad that we had to go to target and buy new pillows. There were also woodpeckers on the outside of our room on the balcony that started about 8 AM. We were already up at that point, but I can see that being a real problem for some people. Other than those two things, the hotel itself is very close to a lot of things, including a coffee shop that neighbors it as well as having an ocean view.

This place is old and everything inside is old, and gross. The box spring of the bed had some stains in them, the carpet is gross, the bed is so uncomfortable and while lying down, I can smell the musty smell of the carpet. I asked if I checked out a day early if I can get a refund and they said no.

Very convinient Staff welcoming and helpful Good location, only 3mn drive from main steeet shops and from the actual coast , so it’s very peaceful. Room was confortable with good bedding. Expect a little noise from other rooms and from the wood deck , but earplugs are very cheap !

Rooms didn’t look like the pictures whatsoever. I knew it wouldn’t be the best considering the price, but man it was outdated. The beds were so hard too! The only good thing was a tiny free breakfast, and it was close enough to the aquarium.

We have stayed at the Olympia Lodge before and really enjoyed it. The room is clean and the check in staff are friendly. There were only a few things that needed attention: the shower head has calcium build up so the water did not come out very strong; there were porcelain chips in the tub; the dressers had water marks and had a lot of wear on them; but, we will still go back there because it is a beautiful area, is quiet, and secure.

Was a little bewildered by the sliding door being the entrance to the room. The radio turned itself on at midnight can you spell SPOOKY! Other than that, the staff was nice, area was quiet, room was clean, and the stay was substantial.

There was hair shavings in the shower and bathroom floor. Dust on the bed frame. Hair underneath the pillows on the bed. Roof had cobwebs. Room had a horrible odor. I had to wipe down and clean the room myself.

The property is older. Furniture, carpet & fixtures are worn & need to be replaced. They serve a boxed breakfast that is merely adequate & the croissant was dry & stale. I was dissapointed overall.

Staff exceptionally kind and helpful. Close to everything. Beautiful beaches with walking paths. Nice boxed continental breakfast. I was pleased that after reading some reviews that they didn’t get the Pacific Grove vibe. The idea of holding the past in respect through its older buildings.

A very great location. Very quiet, very accommodating. There was plenty of restaurants shops within a mile radius however, the beds were very uncomfortable. But overall, a very good stay!

It was a nice stay and convenient to everything we were doing in the Monterey area. Very nice and relaxing location. Staff was friendly! It was a little dated, and kind of weird with sliding glass doors as the entry to the rooms. Also, our room was right at the top of the stairs for the 1st floor so everyone coming and going went by our room, which was a little noisy in the morning.

The hotel was fine but with the loudest most inconsiderate neighbors, not restful at all. The bar next door played excruciatingly awful loud live music which made the walls vibrate. I would t stay again because of that.

This was a clean and comfortable motel. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful. The added bonus was the ‘breakfast box’ available at reception as this saved having to buy lunch!

Really expensive during summertime for what the propriety has to offer. No window or real door. Only a sliding door to access the room and get fresh air. It feels unsafe to leave it open during the night. Bathroom not in great shape. Would not recommend.
