Hotel is fine - clean room, ok buffet breakfast, close to the beach. But it just seems a little 'tired' and old fashioed to me.

We had a wondeedul stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants with ease. The room was on the small side and the internet connection was really poor with the exception of the lobby, please note the fitness suite is also very basic with 2 running machines 2 bikes, a crosstrainer (that was out of seevice during our stay) as well as some basic weights and a weight machine. I would still definitely recommend if you're lookong for a clean hotel in an ideal location, as always with accomodation in major cities the cost of being idealy situated will be what dictates how much you're charged.

Excellent service and overall a great stay! I definitely recommend. Copacabana Beach is just right around the corner. The only negative is that I had very loud neighbors who were yelling late at night.

Friendly staff and great location. Room was spacious, clean, bed was comfortable. Overlooking a busy street but sound isolation was good. Generous buffet breakfast.

Windsor has many properties around Rio. This is one of their lesser quality ones but the location is good and the price reasonable. It included breakfast but I didn’t try it.

Pros: The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was very good with many fresh fruits. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Shower was strong with plenty of water. Checkout was fast. Cons: Checkin took quite a long time. It would be easier to have an online checkin to help doing all the registration forms. Air conditioning in the bedroom was very loud. Thermostat didn’t work at all, which made our bedroom a fridge during the night.

We stayed during the carnival, to be honest i booked it because it was one of the cheapest during this period, so wasnt expecting much. However the minute we got out of the taxi, the doorman and reception staff were excellent and very helpful, courteous, especially Johnathan on reception. The room was ok but clean, the shower was just amazing in terms of the water pressure. We had dinner innthe restaurant for just one night and wished we had eaten there more often as it was really good, breakfast was also good. Two minutes walk from the copacabana beach inwould definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent service, with a conveniently located spot, just a short 5-minute walk to Copacabana Beach and safe for walking. Jonathan and Lucas in the lobby provided great service. Many tours can pick you up from here, and they have information about plenty of nearby activities.

The staff is outstanding, really kind, professional and polite. The room was small, but the bathroom and the shower were excellent. The location is really good, several restaurants, bakeries and close to the beach.

The staff at the Windsor Copa are hard working and do their best to provide excellent service for their customers. As an english speaking visitor, there are several employees who are bilingual and can assist you when needed. Everything that you need is within walking distance of the hotel. Should I be in this area again, I would definitely choose the Windsor Copa. Regarding safety, the best advice I was given by a Carioca is to 'blend in' and do not give someone a reason to take what you have ie. constantly looking at your cellphone on the street/beach, wearing expensive jewelry.

The staff are always friendly and helpful! Breakfast is very good! The restaurant food is good and better than the restaurants on the street. Location is excellent only few minutes to metro and the beach! We will come back and stay here again!

The staff do not smile, they do not seem happy. The rooms are only cleaned to a bare minimum every morning, there was a noise coming from the ceiling which a staff member said it could be the draining of the air conditioning. almost every morning the towels and toilet paper were not fully replaced. The hotel does not allow for visitors unless an additional fee is paid and registered.

Great value for a nice hotel close to the beach. Lovely room and bathroom and very clean. Not many amenities but you’re not going to rio to stay in your hotel. Lovely reception staff who all spoke great English!

They make up policies that don’t even exist. Don’t go there if you plan on having guest and friends. They would charge me whatever they want and pocket the money. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is a three star hotel, but i felt like i was in a 5 star hotel. The only thing missing on that hotel is a pool! My children loved the facility, just a block away from the beach! Great great great!

I stayed over Carnival. The hotel was in a fantastic location, 2 mins from the beach and a Havainas store!. The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was great too. Overall the rooms were fairly basic (simple furniture, no tea/coffee making facilities) but still clean and in good condition. It was expensive over carnival but much better value than other places my friends stayed

Not a good service by the reception stuff. Breakfast is nice. Very old room. No electricity near bed - you must move the bed to use electricity for charging your phone :-/. The elevators are very slow... Sometimes it takes 5-7 mins untill you catcgh one. No other guests allowed :-\ so my friend couldnt get up to my room. So.. Its nice hotel but I wouldnt stay there again. Sorry.

The room appeared to be an employees room- bed very uncomfortable - very noisy - The staff was very unconcerned, as I walked up to the reception desk to check in, three employees made me feel like I was bothering them, interrupting their very unprofessional conversation.

Liked the friendly and very helpful staff. Appreciated close proximity to beach, banks, restaurants, etc. housekeeping did very nice job and all very courteous. Bed was a little old and two twins pulled together which created a wooden jump in middle where two frames meet. Otherwise good though.

Breakfast was very good. A lot to choose from. The hotel supplies beach towels. Great location (two blocks from the beach) Internet could be a little faster (coming from North America, we are used to faster internet) Overall, great hotel and staff.
