We saw the great rating and jumped at the chance to stay here. When our train pulled into Venice it was pouring and by the time we got to the hotel (less than a 10 min walk) we were pretty soaked. But as soon as we walked in we forgot all about it. They took our passports and directed us to the lounge for a welcome drink and some pastries, and encouraged us to take our time while they checked us in. When we finally finished they accompanied us to our room where we found our bags waiting for us and they had even taken our jackets and hung them to dry. The service is friendly, the room is comfortable and the details are like this the whole stay. They have a nightly happy hour in the lounge where if you order a drink you can help yourself to finger foods, little sandwiches, salames etc. Beyond that the hotel is very classically decorated and has a nice garden. It’s close to the train and the Piazzale Roma (for buses and water taxis) but walkable to the main sights. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time in Venice.The hotel Moresco is a wonderful place to stay. Its in a great location for transportation and very quiet at night. It has all the facilities we need and very clean and comfortable.The staff were fantastic as well. They made us feel welcome and were very well look after. Superb.

Staff are so pleasant & helpful. Wonderful food laid on for free at happy hour in lounge promotes mixing of guests making for pleasant evenings were new friendships can be made. Can’t find a reason not to use this hotel again and this was our third stay here in last seven years to prove it. We will be back for our next trip to wonderful Venezia !

An amazing hotel. The whole hotel had a chilled vibe, beautiful decor, thoughtful extras, and very environmentally friendly, loved the ethics of that. A great location for transport to airport and the people mover. The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to another stay there. Thank you so much.

We loved the evening appetizers before dinner. Very welcoming and warm. Wladimir was very helpful and organized our to and fros from the hotel. This is a small hotel with a personal feel. Excellent stay.

Perfect stay from our arrival to departure. The hotel is really in a great location. It's away from busy areas which makes this a great location to stay yet it's still close enough to walk to all the main areas of interest. We had a canal view room and it was spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice to suit everyone. The hotels little touches make this a special place to stay. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay so special.

This is such a beautiful hotel with very kind and welcoming staff! The room was beautiful and clean, we had nice canal view and a little cute patio. The hotel garden is adorable and breakfast is delicious with such good pastries. Lots of varieties and they locally source everything. I really can’t praise enough the staff as they were all so amazing. I will be back and I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff including Vincenza and Barbara go above and beyond and treat you like a friend. Nothing is too much trouble. Vincenza emailed us all the options of how to arrive and arranged this for us. She called us in the airport arrivals to let us know a change in pier for picking up the boat. We were given really good directions for attractions and Barbara even telephoned one to help arrange this. Vincenzo booked our dinner reservation. A gentleman on the desk knew who we were and greeted us by name and knew our room number and carried our bags out to the water taxi.
When we left the hotel, we took a water taxi to the port to pick up our ship, my husband left his phone on the water taxi. I telephoned the hotel and Barbara arranged extremely quickly for the boat driver to come back to the port, I thought, an impossible task for her to find him in Venice. Barbara then telephoned me to check we had received the phone. We were so grateful.
The hotel was beautiful, room spacious and you could not hear any outside noise in the room or hotel. The hotel is situated right on the water but just off the grand canal. The location is perfect. It was a the best start to our holiday. We highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful property, wonderful service, very clean. Location was convenient to train station but not as convenient to city center. Only flaw in the stay, the water never got warm to enjoy the beautiful bath tub and the shower took over 15 min to warm up in the am.

Best staff ever! The employees really care about the enjoyment of your stay and service is excellent. We were treated to a delicious breakfast every morning and a wonderful happy hour in the evening. We have stayed at many hotels for both work and vacation; Hotel Moresco is the best. If every hotel was like Hotel Moresco, I would sell my home and live there year round.

Hotel staff goes above and beyond for us. They were very attentive, accommodating and friendly. They gave us great recommendations of local restaurants. Remembered my birthday! Breakfast was amazing. We also had an early flight to catch and they offered to pack us breakfast togo bags. Very clean and beautiful hotel. Definitely coming back for another stay.

We felt instantly welcome at Hotel Moresco. After a short walk from the coach drop off we were greeted with smiles and a welcome drink with savory snacks. Our room was ready when we arrived and was stunning.
Right on the canal with a lovely view out of our window with bars and restaurants moments away.
Access to the city was incredibly easy, the map hotel Moresco provided was invaluable.
Breakfast was excellent also with a great selection of food.
We would absolutely love to go back in the future.

Everybody stop looking elsewhere - this is it. It’s perfectly located only 5-6 minute walk from the bus stop (easy, affordable roundtrip to/from the airport) and yes, may be a 30 minute beautiful, charming stroll to St. Mark’s, but in my opinion, your home away from home matters, and they have THE best room and service. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with so much warmth with a side of goodies and a drink of choice. The room was spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable with a pleasant aroma. Breakfast was amazing - you have to see for yourself. The details and care are obvious in every way, from the people to the curtains. I am amazed and mesmerized by this hotel…it was absolutely perfect.
