it was really overpriced for a mediocre place that is pretty rundown and only has one ice machine and the people working there. Acted like they didn’t want to be there actually the worst Best western plus I’ve ever been in.

The receptionist was friendly and gave us good greedy. The receptionist gave us the information about the room, food/breakfast, and work out room of hours, and to call the front office if needed any help or information. The service was professional. Thank You.

It was a nice stay and the breakfast was pretty good. It would have been great to have the air conditioning on in the room before we arrived in May. It took hours for the room to cool down.

Cliff swallows greeted me when I drove up at sunset; they were busily building nests around the canopy over the front door. They are beautiful, and the hotel won't have bug problems with them there. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely lovely; I was welcomed at check-in, and next day my questions were answered with a smile. The entire staff seemed to enjoy their jobs and get along with each other - that says it all. My room was gorgeous! It was quite large and had the overall feel of an elegant old hotel, but with all the clean, modern conveniences you could ever want. The view was of a mountain across the way.

All good. Best shower I’ve had on my entire trip! Good b’fast, friendly staff. Well above and off the road. Save for the guest who door dinged my car but good…and left. Why is there a picture of a BW+ in Hollywood NM above this comment?

Overall the hotel was not as nice as the photos made it appear… and the room smelled off. We had to open the window to air it out. There was one employee on duty at check in. She was kind as could be but needed some help… took about 15 minutes to check in the 4 or 5 other parties ahead of us. Not a place we’d stay again. At least the beds were comfortable, but of all the places we stayed on our trip, this one seemed the most overpriced.

The room was nice and clean. The only complaint we have is that we could hear every footstep that was taken from the room above us. Two of the three nights it keep us up late. When we tried to call the front desk the phone in the room did not work.

Heater did not work and bed was extremely uncomfortable. Such a shame because this hotel was our stay from home but now will have to find a new hotel. "Breakfast" was horrible too.

The refrigerator was located at the foot of the bed and ticked like a time bomb. The rooms need rearranged. It was generally pretty quite other than the refrigerator and a heavy footed person upstairs that walked around a lot around midnight. Otherwise it was a nice room. Had to check out early because the Walgreens Pharmacy my Dr sent my prescription to was closed for the weekend.

This was my first time staying at a hotel in Ruidoso - we usually airbnb but it was a great experience. The hotel is older so there isn’t a lot of upgradable features. The locks are a chain lock and our door had a large crack at the top so we could hear lots of outside noise, but the room was large and roomy. The bathtub didn’t train well but the water pressure was great and hot! There was a ceiling fan in the room which I’ve never seen before but it was overall a good room to utilize for 48 hours. The breakfast was small but got the job done. My mom did find a small bug in her coffee but I’m sure that can happen anywhere. The hot tub and pool were great. A little outdated as well but served its purpose after a long day in the snow. Overall it was great for the budget and time frame.

Overall the property was outdated but good. Good location and amenities. Unfortunately lack of noise insulation and no seals on the doors allows lets in all noise from other rooms and the hallway.

I have stayed in other hotels and they smell clean, this one doesn't even smell like chlorine where it was disinfected, the furniture with dust the beds poorly made and dirty sheets.

Stuffy room. No good airflow. The bathroom had no exhaust fan. The refrigerator didn’t work. Bathroom sink water smells bad like sewer water.
