Right on the beach front! The most beautiful clear water with a smooth rock beach. The hotel is dated but that just added to the charm. They offer an amazing breakfast every morning with pastries, eggs, cappuccino, bacon, juices and more! The area around the hotel has affordable restaurant options. We took public transit from Amalfi and it was very cheap and easy. I would go back in a heartbeat. 💓

We loved our stay at Pietra di Luna hotel! The room was big with a lovely balcony with a table and chairs. It was really clean and serviced everyday. The hotels breakfast was delicious with an amazing choice of food. The dining room service was fantastic, every morning they bought you a huge pot of coffee and steamed milk at breakfast. The hotel swimming is lovely and really deep. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool to use - my only complaint is that we saw hotel guests put their towels on sun loungers at breakfast and didn’t use them until about 3pm - very bad behaviour!! The hotel has loungers at the beach, our booking included the beach loungers, which was fantastic! We love Maiori and the hotel - would definitely return one day - thanks for a lovely stay!!

Fabulous hotel. Very clean, spacious room. Wonderful view from the balcony. Service from staff was exemplary and so friendly.
Breakfast choices a bit repetitive, but service good and products good quality.
Pool area and beach lovely. Plenty of beds. Great choice of hotel to stay in when visiting the Amalfi coast.

Having traveled a lot and staying in hotels each time, I felt compelled to write a review for this hotel to save other people from ruining their vacation!! To start, the beds are extremely hard and felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I complained to the concierge after the first night and was told they would put a pillow top. They did do that and that resulted in no improvement. I had booked 7 nights here and by night 3 tried to checkout because we couldn’t sleep. The hotel refused to refund me and told me that if the beds were that big of a problem they would be getting more complaints! Well, given that there was a tour going on with about 60 people we also overheard a couple of people having the same complaint we had. The hotel KNOWS that the beds are a problem and could care less! We went on to go research further and noticed that over 15% of the reviews state the beds are hard and uncomfortable. I was met with blank stares from anyone I complained to. What a disgrace! At the end of our stay, we go to check out and I expected a bill of 100euros for having a prefix dinner there for 2 nights- the bill I got was for 177euros! They billed me for asking for 2 yogurts (which are free at breakfast by the way) - 2 colas (which I thought were complementary upon arrival) and for any drink I got at the bar - if they poured alittle extra alcohol they had the nerve to bill me for 2 drinks instead of one! (They don’t tell that!!). Also, there were 1000s of ants crawling in the room!!

Very close quarters with the neighbors and loud. Room was newly renovated but most others were old and very dated.

The property is very old fashioned with the rooms and the amenities. This hotel needs some refurbishment to make it more modern. The staff were friendly enough on the desk but the staff at breakfast just went about their jobs. The private beach is lovely and managed to get to spend some time there on an otherwise busy visit to the Amalfi Coast. The hotel served its purpose.

Right across a beautiful beach amazing view, no internet working though

Perfect location on the Amalfi coast if you want to get out of the tourist fray. Sea view room is wonderful and the pool is a wonderful amenity. Excellent housekeeping staff and helpful front desk team. The bed is a bit like sleeping on a brick though - very hard. It was a bit frustrating that there is no wifi in the rooms, only in lobby and common area spaces. Enjoyed our stay here in general.

Excellent location across one of the best beaches on the Amalfi Coast. Nice rooms with great views. Good American Breakfast
5.0 / 10.0
Clean and nice hotel with good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff and own beach.
Free parking is available near the hotel or you can use underground parking places.
Great value for money.
Maiori is less crowded then Amalfi, town is small, clean, with nice beach and good restaurants around.
Would definitely recommend to stay here and in Pietra di Luna hotel.

The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful and convenient locations on Amalfi Coast. The beach is nice and the hotel is covering the rent of umbrellas and chairs at the beach which is a great benefit.
When it comes to rooms, they are so outdated that you do not want to be there. We had a nice balcony with a sea view, this was the only good thing about our room.
The beds are so hard, we could not sleep both nights. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. The TV did not have any international channels until we asked for it. On our last day, the showerhead broke off the hose and they could not repair it (was around 7 pm, I guess repairs are done in the morning only). We had to use a vacant room to take our showers.
Despite of all of the above, nothing could ruin our stay in the most beautiful part of the world. Beauty always wins.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel had a wonderful pool and private area on the beach - both of which had changing and toilet facilities. Breakfast was continental style and more than ample with lots of choice - uniformed staff were courteous and quick to serve. The chamber maids cleaned our room twice daily and again were always friendly and helpful as were the reception staff. The room was simple but the sea view from the balcony was stunning! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would be happy to return and to recommend to friends and family.

Very dirty(I had to clean my bathroom before taking shower), super old hotel like 70 century, very rude and impolite staffs. I will never come back even I love south coast of Italy and will visit more in future.

Great location, friendly staff. Easy parking, we got a room with a view above the pool towards the sea. However the bed felt like a sheet of plywood.

My partner and I had wonderful 4 night stay at Pietra Di Luna. The hotel is directly across the road from a private beach and we were greeted daily by the friendly attendant with fresh beach towels who showed us to our sunbeds. All the staff were great and the cleaners left us little treats each day which made our stay extra special. We booked a partial sea view and were pleasantly surprised at how spectacular the view was. The pool was large and clean. Breakfast was simple yet tasty. The only things that could be improved were that the air conditioning wasn't effective and the beds were quite hard however we did learn that you can request toppers from reception. We will definitely stay at Pietra di Luna on our return to Maiori.

Pretty nice hotel. Beach is just across the street. Lots of caffes and restaurants nearby. A nice swimming pool. Balconies which are great. Well stocked bar downstairs, even tequilla, thank you. Large restaurant but we chose to eat elsewhere. No reason to just stay in the hotel with so much going on. Decent breakfast, typical of most hotels we have stayed in from Rome to Napoli, etc. Beautiful town to stroll around. Although our air conditioner never came on which we wanted, luckily it wasnt too hot. No bathroom vent fan which is never good. All in all pretty nice, not cheap.

This hotel is far from 4* more like 2. Rooms are old and need updating paint peeling off celling. Bathroom is old shower curtain dirty and tub needs replacing, water drips all the time very annoying when you are try to sleep. Mattress is like sleeping on boards, old. They turn the air off at midnight because the noise bothered the people in the next building.had to call down to the front desk at least 6 times during our stay, it was so hot my wife got I'll during the night. We were on the top floor with Sun beating on the room all day.

Okay , Close to beach . Parking facility along with ticket to enter beach area .

Worst beds I have ever slept on.
Wifi was non existent even in the common areas. Be prepared to watch your screen load for hours.
Ants in the room.
Air conditioning was central air so you had no control of temperature. You have to remove the desk which covers the air conditioning unit to have the slightest chance of cooling your room.
Shower is extremely tiny, if you are a bigger person good luck getting in and out.
If the beach was not just across the street and we had the beautiful views to distract us from this horrid place we would of checked out immediately.
Spend a little more money and stay somewhere else!

Unfortunately, we only stayed 2 nights and did not get to enjoy the beach. This hotel is in a great location in Maiori and the view is breathtaking. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
