My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It is very close to the boat launch and there are tons of restaurants and shops within a few minute's walk. Breakfast is a set meal...toast, eggs, meat, cheese, and fruit. If you are a vegan or have dietary restrictions, you are going to have an issue with the breakfast. The door to my patio was broken so I wasn't able to put my wetsuit out to dry. The hot water took about 5 minutes to heat. Wifi in the room is non-existant, I had to go down to the restaurant to get access. The area is VERY loud, the restaurant plays loud music and there is a nightclub across the street that blasts music on the weekends. The pool closes at 6 and has no seating, its really not a place to hang out unless you have kids. You can probably get a similar room for less since the amenities are actually very basic, despite what it lookslike on the website.
5.0
Easy access, quiet, close to everything.
5.0
Great location but noisy neighbourhood at night. Very helpful staff.
5.0
The room was big, water pressure great, and the breakfast fantastic. They will even give you a togo breakfast if you had to catch the boat to another island, which usually is early in the morning. The TV did not work.

Very nice

It's probably an ok stay for the money. But be warned that the wifi barely works at all. For someone who needs to work on the road, like myself, that proved pretty disastrous. The breakfast was very basic. Location is pretty good though, short walk from everything.

Is clean but the area is noisy
1.0
Cold shower, bad wifi

Wifi did almost not work at all in my room more the common areas of the hotel. There was often no one available at the front desk. However the people were friendly and the cleaning person always did a good job.
3.0
Pros.
1.The Hotel is close to everything so everything you would ever want is at walking distance.
2. Very clean Hotel with very friendly staff and it feels very safe inside the Hotel and out
3. It has a pool which has a decent temperature and is clean.
4. Price was decent but expected more for what I paid.
Cons.
1. My only complain about the hotel would be the amount of noise. Tjhe walls are very thin that you can hear everything.
2. They allowed someone to have a birthday party right outside our door pretty much in the hallway/balcony. It was a kids parry so you can guess how loud it was. It felt like our privacy went down from a 5/10 to a 0 because of it.
3. Little expensive for that kind of Hotel.

Nice place, downtown, very nice restaurant and helpful personnel. Unfortunately very noisy

Galagos Native was centrally located, clean and affordable. I recommend their breakfast because it was really good! The staff was very accommodating— they were able to find a private taxi service for us since the places we wanted to visit was all over the island of Santa Cruz. The internet/WIFI could have been stronger though. However, I believe it is slow (compared to Quito) for most of the island anyway.

The property was ok. Very clean but it had a hostel vibe to it. It was for one night and was perfect enough for our needs. Staff were adorable and very kind though.

The location was excellent. Interesting places in walking distance. The staff could not have been more helpful.

The woman who works the reception and room cleaning (she has adorable small children with her) is extremely nice. I inquired about a laundry mat nearby and she let me know they’d do it for me for $2 per kg (great price!!)
The property is highly suitable for its location and price point, the included breakfast is great — the woman in the restaurant didn’t speak much English and my Spanish is rough, a printed translated breakfast menu would probably make it much easier on both parties.
Our room was large, sunny, and clean with a balcony the only thing was the bathroom smelled like a plumbing/sewage issue.. maybe the drain was backed up but we kept the door shut. Oh also the wifi doesn’t work but that’s common in the islands.
I would stay here again!!! 7.5/10

Good location. Free breaky was good. Needs better in room internet

The property had a good location and purified water always available in the lobby.
WiFi doesn't work at all, they shouldn't even advertise as having it! Made my reservations about a month in advance, when I arrived I was told my room was getting maintenance and that they had arranged for me to stay in a hostel down the road. When I arrived at 10am when they said the room would be ready it still wasn't - I asked to put my stuff down at least so I could start my day and when I got to the room it was a complete mess. In other words, it wasn't getting maintenance, someone had been living in it. I don't like liars!

I arrived to the hotel before the check-in time and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. Then they were pretty confused at my question of wanting to store my luggage at the front desk until after check-in. I liked that they had a water cooler to fill up reusable water bottles. I was given the room that I booked on Expedia but then the next day was asked if I could switch rooms because they needed that room for a larger family reservation. They were begging me and I agreed. The second room was okay but the view was not as good as the first room. Breakfast was included but I had made arrangements the day before check-out to ensure that my breakfast would be ready at 6:30AM (the time that breakfast began) and they assured me that it would be ready. I went to the breakfast area at 6:30AM and they did not open the breakfast area for seating until 7:10AM. At that point I had to leave to the airport due to the fact that t takes about 2 hours to get to. Although the rooms were clean and spacious, I would not stay there again.

Marginally clean. Rooster next door. See through curtains

The hotels in Galapagos are not the big all inclusive complexes you get in some other places. Bearing that in mind, the Galapagos Native is ideally placed just a couple of streets from the main street, it's staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Not all of them speak brilliant English yet but they all try exceptionally hard and do everything they can to make your stay wonderful.
There is a choice of two types of breakfast - cereal or eggs (fried or scrambled). I'm not sure about the cereal but the eggs come with a slice of toast, ham and cheese, in addition there is jam, fruit, fruit juice and a hot drink. The breakfast isn't massive but it is good and served by very pleasant, welcoming staff.
The dining room also doubles as a coffee house and serves food throughout the day.
Our room was a good size with a tv but only two English speaking channels were available.
The shower was hot but not very powerful.
Wifi is available in reception and in the dining room.
We have not tried other hotels in the area but were happy with our choice of that one.

The property location is excellent and the stay was a pleasant one.

Very loud all night long.

HOTEL CURRENTLY UNDERGOING CONSTRUCTION OF UPPER LEVEL ADDITIONAL ROOMS SO IF YOU WANT QUIET ENJOYMENT THEN GO ELSEWHERE. Room had no bedside lamps despite being pictured. The hotel is building an additional level & the noise (banging & crashing, breaking bricks, etc) from the construction started each day at 6.30am with constant construction noise until about 5pm each day. The hotel should have been closed during the construction. Found a woman’s shoe under the bed; one day only left one bath towel in room; breakfast first day was appalling service (over 25 minutes to receive a cup of hot water for tea) & breakfast definitely was not worth the wait. Overcharged for “complimentary” breakfast. We skipped the poor quality breakfast at the hotel most days and had a proper breakfast at a nearby restaurant. The water pressure for the shower was at times non-existent as was the hot water to have a shower. This amenity needs serious upgrade as they are constructing more rooms. The hotel is centrally located within a short walk to Darwin Scientific Station, marina, shops & restaurants. Staff were pleasant except for woman Cafe Manager of an evening when we were short of bath towels left in the room. She was snarly, unhelpful & lacked a customer service bone in her body! For people arriving on a flight to Baltra AP it’s a 10 minutes bus, short ferry trip (though if you just miss the ferry you wait another 30 mins) then a 25 km taxi ride. Best beach: El Garrapatero $25 taxi each way

Great manager and great staff. Great breakfast and good location between docks and town. Don’t get bottom floor since it’s a wooden house and you hear the planks crack and the noisy neighbor waking up on the morning.
2.5
Very nice hotel and rooms.
Our room was located next to the staircase with windows out to the Main Street.
This was a little noise and the lights from the street entered the room.
Breakfast was really good.
2.5
Friendly staff, helpful with what to do and where to eat, cheap laundry service , close to everything, would stay again.
2.0
We were given a good size room, the shower room was small but ok for 1 night. The towels were nice and unstained (we stayed in Galapagos for several nights with a number of different properties and having unstained towels was rare). The breakfast was a nice start to the day, we had pancakes with banana with coffee and fresh guava juice.
2.0
Rooms were large and very clean. We often had sand on us from going to the beach, they sweep and mopped up after us. The room was kept very clean. Facility could be better by having a drinking water filter in room. You go to lobby with a bottle to get drinking water, no bottled water in room. Nice hotel, nice location.
2.5
We had a large room with a balcony. The breakfast that came with the room was very good.

This is not a luxury hotel but the rooms are bright, clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. The location is excellent.

This is a very basic hotel on Santa Cruz Island. It was generally clean but did not offer many amenities. We only stayed one night and that was enough as had we stayed longer, we would continuously be woken up by the ongoing construction which starts at 8 am every morning. It was often difficult to find the receptionist to ask questions and make requests. If you are looking for bare bones, this is it.

This hotel has a very lovely appearance but the rooms have NO soundproofing. There are gaps in every window and door so sound just pours in and it sits on a busy street. We were there on a Saturday and Sunday nights and while it was a bit quieter on Sunday, it still was unsleepable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious but don't go there if you want a good night's sleep.
1.5
Pros: friendly staff with a family run feel in a good location.
Simple breakfast was nice.
Cons: some of the rooms open out onto quite a busy road (by Galapagos standards) with a water distribution centre next door so they can be noisy unfortunately. (It didn't really bother me as I was out early every day)

It's a perfect spot if you go to galapagos to dive

No frills Galapagos hotel. When there was no water in our room (twice), they moved us to another room. Though smaller, it was accessible from inside the hotel, as opposed to a street entrance, therefore quieter and with in-room access to Internet (a little spotty). Both rooms and bathrooms were very clean; all staff were friendly and helpful; breakfasts were pretty good; location great - just two blocks from the beach and the main drag, Charles Darwin Avenue. We would stay there again. P.S. Beware of sunburn when visiting these islands!!!

Puerto Ayora is a beautiful , quiet and relaxed island. We use the hotel only to sleep, because we were all day tours.
1.0
Pros: convenient location, room of a good size, basic amenities available, no TV (could be a con for some guests), decent hot breakfast, friendly staff.
Cons: noisy street front, dirty towels, no air-conditioning, wifi doesn't work in your room, bring your own shampoo & body lotion (and maybe towels too); breakfast decent but always the same items, friendly staff but don't speak English and only at front desk 7am-8pm (sometimes hard to find even during those times)
0.8
It was very central in Puerto Ayora. But there was no air conditioning and no WIFI except for in the lobby.

The Galapagos are just pricey - this is a rather basic nice hotel, nothing super special even though a bit pricey for Ecuador. But very reasonable for the Galapagos.Rooms are clean and nice, though a bit bare and basic. Breakfast is good, all the staff are really nice and helpful. We had problems with the language since we dont speak much Spanish.
