It was all good! We enjoyed staying here instead of a hotel. It was clean. The staff were very helpful and kind. The cookies and breakfasts were great!

Just a couple blocks away from IU Bloomington to attend orientation.
East to find, well appointed spacious rooms, clean, great service, and AWESOME hot breakfast (rotation of custom hot dishes). Also 3pm snack. Friendly front desk.
Can’t ask for more. This is a pricier option as compare to a chain hotel at the other end of campus but the reviews turned me to this place.

Charming, clean, and comfortable. My room was clean, and it had everything I needed. The bed was really comfortable. The location is great, as you can walk to the University or downtown to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again.

We liked the old fashioned house and decor to go with it. The amenities were great with coffee, tea and cookies available all of the time. The bed was super comfortable. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

We love Grant St and have stayed numerous times. The rooms are quaint, clean, and comfy. The staff has always been very friendly. The fresh baked cookies and drink choices available through the day are so nice and the breakfast is always great!

Breakfast and location was great. Room was okay. Tv was perched high up to ceiling - couldn’t even see it well and was above the bathroom sink - which was actually in the bedroom. Electric sockets were tempramental. Could have used a good vacuuming - dust on carpet all around perimeter. I do like the charm of old B&B’s but also would appreciate to see the tv, be able to charge my devices, and have an extremely clean room. Toilet was extremely low - could have used a grab bar for us not so young folks.

Every stay is a pleasure. The service is always excellent and everyone is pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was very good!

Staff is great. Rooms were cozy. They weren’t necessarily updated but clean and functional. Water pressure wasn’t great. Only other negative about our stay was our room location. We were under a stairwell and the noise carried easily. Overall great for the price. Location is hard to beat and loved being able to relax on the porch after walking around downtown.

The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. The breakfast was nice (egg, ham, cheese, on an English Muffin, oatmeal w/ the fixin's [sic], yogurt, and so on). However, there was no glass in the room and inadequate supply of toilet paper compelling two trips downstairs and fingernail clippings on the floor in front of the sink. Not acceptable. Towels were great and shower was adequate.

The room was spacious, the bathroom had a gorgeous shower that my 6’7” husband could stand UNDER, and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the bed was a little soft for our liking.

This was an exceptional stay. Between being just a couple of blocks from the campus and having restaurants and dining in multiple directions, it was so convenient. The quality of the place was fantastic. Historic, but not stuffy. A nicely restored historic property. Friendly staff. This is what hospitality should like like everywhere.

I’ve stayed in the main house before and, although tired, was very pleasant. This time I stayed in the adjacent building and the room was subpar. There was a burn in my sheet - I’m sure it was clean, but with a black stain and fabric burnt away, the sheet should have been tossed. The furniture was also in bad shape. Time for an update. Too expensive to put up with this level of quality, or lack thereof.

The staff was great. Very accommodating and kind. The only thing I was not a fan of was that microwaves were not in the rooms. No microwave = hot snacks went straight into the garbage.

We would definitely stay again. Our particular room was clean but “worn.” Some updating would be nice. All in all, a good experience, though!

The location is good and the parking situation is very good. The breakfast room is pleasant and adequately stocked, with exceptional service. The rooms are very old dated. Our bathroom sink was inside the room. There was no closet, just a rack with a few cheap hangers. The portable fridge leaked. The bathroom was cold with an annoying fan and poor lighting. The rooms need to be renovated to adhere to modern standards. My friend stayed 4 days and moved 3 times and said all of the rooms in every building are equally unacceptable.

This was my first time staying at Grant Street Inn and I loved it. The location and facilities are great. Most of all, the staff was wonderful. The breakfast is amazing, too!

This was my first stay at this property and I really liked it. I was on my own, so the room size was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and breakfast was yummy (freshly prepared baked goods!). I would definitely stay here again.

Grant Inn is an excellent option and location to IU is unbeatable. The breakfast is home cooked and highly recommended. Staff is very nice and the rooms are well kept and clean.

The place was really cute and is in a great location. The staff was all very friendly. Coffee, tea and hot cocoa out all day long. I also used the fitness room and liked it. My only complaint is that the bed and pillows were a little too hard for my liking. I also wish that housekeeping would have come to take out my trash at least once while I was staying, but housekeeping never came over my stay (not a huge deal since I was only there 2 days/3 nights). Otherwise, I would stay again and would recommend it to others

We have stayed there several times over the past few years. Love the location, but a lot of variation in rooms & beds. Also, the breakfast isn't nearly as good as it was in the past. Missing simple item sand normal breakfast fare.

From the cheerful greeting on arrival, through friendly service at breakfast every interaction with the staff was a delight. The location is convenient, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would stay here every time I come to town

Great location walkable to campus and many restaurants. Easy and professional check in even though it was late. Big room that was quiet and well appointed. Nice breakfast and even hard copy NYTimes Sunday paper available - multiple copies! Old school in a good way!
