Fantastic stay with friendly helpful staff. Perfect location.

Very noisy the room as was in the front of some heating or ventilation from the roof. Hot no air conditioned , very noisy as previously said barely could fall asleep

Great location, highly recommend getting a sea view room. Room and bathroom nice and clean and modern in comparison to other seaside hotels in the UK. Staff were friendly. Only downside is it was noisy at night. There is a main road outside the hotel and there is a pub/bar within the hotel which means people are hanging out outside the hotel into the small hours of the morning. You can close the window and wear hotel provided earplugs but something to note nonetheless. Overall a nice seaside hotel.

Good place on beachside for good weekend for couple. Some noise when we was there, there refurbishments in nearest building. Comfortable double bed. Clean bathroom. Clean room and public places. Good night show at ground floor.

I really enjoyed staying at Legends hotel, but for twodistinctions: 1. The coffe, at breakfast, had an auro of coffee about it and was more like coloured water ->which, on a happier note, motivated me to seek breakfast in other of the many outlets in Brighton. 2. I was denied a shower on my day of departure (19/6) by the fact that I was not given a bath-towel after room-service the previous day. (I was out all day) THAT was a BIG disappointment and marred an otherwise nice stay. I was fortunate enough to share the excellent entertainment that was on during my stay (14-19/6). I was well met by the security staff who were very friendly and welcoming. I would gladly recommend Legends hotel but would also point out that obvious need to ensure a bath-towel. Seriously, what were you thinking?

Laida (sorry, not sure how to spell her name) on Reception was fun and welcoming. Easy to purchase parking through hotel, much easier than doing it on the phone app! Room was clean, nicely stocked and a great size. The only improvement would be to have a movable shower head instead of the fixed one, to make it easier to shower without getting one's hair wet. Location fantastic, I paddled every day in the sea! Thanks, Legends, I'll be back.

I stayed for one night, my room was clean and the staff are very pilot. Great location as well would recommend.

This is my third time staying here. The breakfast was amazing. The staffs very friendly. The room was spacious and well presented.

I stayed for 1 night, it was well priced and clean. To check in you have to walk thru a bar/restaurant to get to reception. The place didn’t have AC but understandable with the price. My window had a crack in it and sink is super compact. The bathroom light is to pull a string cord & I have OCD so saw it was sort of dirty I didn’t want to touch it. That being said for the price it was a very nice room. Location is also everything and it’s right across from Bright Beach House (Soho house) and walking distance to the pier!

Bit quirky. Lots of different size rooms. Not all boxy and boring. Lovely room with a sea view.

Had a couple of nights stay. The hotel is well situated right on the beach front. The staff are very friendly and we had a great stay. Our room was tiny which would have been an issue if we had stayed longer (the room was higher than it was wide!) There is entertainment during the evenings which we had access to, and the noise didnt carry up to the room although our room faced the sea (had an awesome view) so we could hear the revelers enjoying the night on the patio. We would definitely think of staying here again.

Central hotel with friendly staff but hotel average and a bit tired overall and being Brighton not that good value either.

Stayed at Legends whilst the Great Escape festival was on. The hotel is in a perfect location, right on the sea front. Breakfast was good and the staff really friendly. Our room was very small but adequate for what we needed. The bar below was very loud on the Friday and Saturday nights until very early in the morning. If you want a decent nights sleep I’d avoid the first floor rooms at the front above the bar area.

Good value for money quite central

Small but adequate, with a sea view. Nice bar which opens late, and outside seating area. Most hotels on the seafront do not have their own parking. Street parking is outrageously expensive, and controlled by permits. The hotel is part of a scheme to purchase a permit, which worked for us, but was relatively expensive. A challenge is that you have to get the permit from the hotel before parking, which can be difficult. This is not really a fault of the hotel, but more the revenue generation process of the local council.

Legends is a lovely old seafront hotel with welcoming and helpful staff, and the room i was in was charming and modern. The only problem i had was that my room key card kept forgetting how to open my door, but the staff were always available and happy to help. There is a nightclub in the hotel, but from my room there was barely any noise, so i slept well!

The property was located 3xceptionally clean and in good repair. My only slight issue was that TV didnt work but to be fair i was to.lazy to go to the reception abd ask for assistance.

Staff friendly good atmosphere

Room and hotel setting was good, happy with the quality of the room for the price. Parking can be a challenge as other reviews mention but we were able to find a space 5 minutes walk away so was not a problem for us. Noise on the weekend evenings was a little disruptive both with noise from the club in the basement coming through the building and road noise from the busy road out front due to older windows that were not well insulated. The hotel are open about the noise in descriptions and provide earplugs so it is to be expected, but some visitors may find it problematic. A significant disappointment of the stay was related to a false fire alarm incident where the alarm sounded at just after midnight on Sunday evening. Having evacuated the building we were left stood outside with no information for a substantial amount of time while staff were working inside the building to deactivate the alarm. We were eventually told that the alarm was caused by a smoke machine in the basement club and there was never any fire risk, but if appears that staff didn't think about hotel guests during this entire incident until they noticed a group of us stood outside the door having managed to turn off the alarm. Instead of an apology we were told that this happened regularly and was not something to worry about which was a concerning response. Accidents and incidents are unavoidable, but poorly organised responses to such situations are not.

Great place to stay and enjoyed time in Brighton as this is such a convenient location.
