Check-in was easy and staff were considerate. There was a dirty sock sitting right in the hallway corner outside my door. This sock did tint my view of the rest of the hotel and room cleanliness. The room itself seemed clean if ignoring the sock outside the door. The pull out bed mattress was horrible basically a bunch of springs with a thin layer of cloth. Their were no sheets for the pull out bed in the room either. Main bed mattresses were very hard. Near the hardest I've ever slept on. I understand some people like that. Mine and my wife's opinion were that they are way too hard to almost back pain in the morning. Otherwise, fridge and microwave were fine. Someone cleaning forgot to check the fridge as we found a drink in it so again questioned the cleanliness of the room. Those kind of simple checks really effect a guests opinion. Breakfast was great. plenty of options and good food for a hotel breakfast.

The staff was nice. The hotel a few problems. No outside garbage we traveling with a dog. There is no place to walk your dog except on rocks. Breakfast was late and the coffee was terrible. Just a few little things that made not give a 5 star rating. Is 2 blocks from Safeway. Location isn’t bad about 1 mile off freeway.

Upon arrival, the check in staff ignored me when I entered the hotel. One was apparently in training and neither employee acknowledged my presence until they were done fixing Ava error that had been made previously with another customer. When my family got to our room, e pulled out the sofa bed and there was no bedding on it. I found a sheet in the closet, but no comforter. My husband called down to the front desk to get one and he was told that there were none left. Shouldn’t there have already been one in the room seeing as how there were three beds? That would be too much to ask, I guess… We will not be returning to this location.

My stay was just to have a decent place to sleep for the night. There was 12 people in my group and we occupy 3 rooms. We visited the Grand Canyon. Our rooms were pretty great.

There street sign advertises free breakfast. Its cold cereal, bread for toast. No fresh coffee. Pool looked like its not cleaned at all. Spa is in a tiny little room. Pillows small and hard. Squishy, squeaky mattress! Its a no frills motel.

I have stayed at a few of these hotels and justified paying more for a room because I'm driving across country and on the pictures the Jacuzzi looks amazing, but when I get there and get my kids ready for the pool so I could sit and relax in the Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi is always broke down. I'm sending up to $60 more for a room here and the one thing I want for me is always broke at every one of this Chains.

Excellent customer service. The sofa bed was like sleeping on wires. The gentleman at the desk tried to to help me, but all he had was mattress covers for queen bed. No bedding for pull out.

After my 1 year old walked around for 5min on the carpet, his feet were almost black. We kept our shoes on the entire stay while not sleeping. Also, the bathroom floors were sticky upon checking in. Were not complainers so we just roughed it out

I arrived 12:30. I knew that it was early and I did mention to the front desk clerk. I asked if I could check in and she was very rude and stated that I was early and that the two rooms I reserved weren’t ready. I said I understood. She had me wait for 2 hrs. Then she proceeded to check about 10 others gave them their rm keys & continued to keep me waiting for another 1/2 hr. I had ask for rooms on an upper floor she gave ground floor rooms and both rooms were dirty and the beds were half made.

It was one of worse experiences I have had. The staff at the frount desk displayed horrible customer service. There are a bunch of hidden fees, and when I asked the frount desk staff told me one thing at check in and something else at check out. There are a bunch of other issues with the hotel. I travel frequently and will NEVER stay here again.

Absolutely filthy room and facilities, morning staff was rude and nobody cares. Floor in room was sticky, furniture filthy and stained, the fake leather headboard peeling. Worst Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed in and made me rethink the brand. Used to be a “safe” bet for a good stay.

Location is good, Breakfast was excellent. Pool was small and water was cloudy, hot tub jets weren't working. Side door didn't always work. Sliding glass doors on shower need to be replaced, they are very awkward and loud. No fan in bathroom. Beds were extremely comfortable, walls are a little thin as we could hear a couple arguing next door. Overall good experience.

Not a pet friendly property as stated per their site. They also charge undisclosed fees for pets which are not only outrageous but non refundable. They denied my elderly father his room when he showed up with 2 pets my sister and her 3 children. After the 2 managers and Expedia stated we should be refunded the hotel GM said no. So they have decided to keep an 80 year old on a fixed incomes money because Expedia has chosen to stick with the hotels policy even though the hotel and Expedia agree the fees aren’t disclosed and should be refunded. I will never use this site or hotel again.

This Holiday Inn Express was a bit run down in my opinion, our room was cleaned, however had a very old vibe to it. The room also smelt very old. The carpet on the 3rd floor main hallways where we stayed were run down, like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Our bathroom was pleasant at all, we managed to use it for showers, however was unpleasant at best. This was a place for us to just rest our heads for the night, since we were visiting the Grand Canyon on route to home, so we managed to make it work for the price, however as soon as we woke up at 6am, we rushed to get out.
