About this house rental
You enter into the spacious, open-concept living and dining room. There is a smart HD TV hooked up with Netflix so that you can wind down after getting back from a busy day of touring. The dining area has soaring ceilings with a gorgeous art piece, customized for this house by a talented Mexican artist. Next to the dining area is half-bathroom.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook. Purified water is provided, as well as coffee. The refrigerator has ice made from purified water as well, so no need to worry. We provide you with basic kitchen equipment and appliances including a toaster and coffee machine so that you can fuel up with a satisfying breakfast to start your day. Coffee, creamer and sugar is provided -- no need to run to the nearest mini-mart for these basics.
Between the kitchen and outdoor pool area, you'll find a dedicated workspace in case you need to get some remote work done. There is also a washer and dryer for your use while in Casa Sweet Pea.
The house includes two spacious bedrooms with ample closet space and gorgeous views of the pool and back patio. The master is located downstairs with floor to ceiling windows letting in the natural light and the tranquil scenery. The guest room is upstairs and has the option for either a king sized bed or two twins. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms as well as blackout blinds.
The house has a light and open feel with numerous skylights for ventilation to help keep things cool, as well as mini splits in all of the bedrooms and living area.
Casa Sweet Pea is the newest addition to our portfolio of homes in Merida and was recently featured on House Hunters International.
The house features custom made furniture from Yucatan Custom Furniture, lighting from Takto as well as antiques and artwork made by Merida’s local artists.
