We enjoyed our stay at the Naif Hotel for two nights. The hotel was centrally located and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was simple but clean. My only comment is that the mattress could use an upgrade, and if you’re staying in a room above the front court yard, it can get noisy early in the morning with guests in the restaurant.

We recently stayed at this charming hotel and loved it. Room 206 had a beautiful view, and the cozy garden area was perfect for relaxing. The location is incredibly walkable and convenient for exploring the area.
The staff was outstanding—friendly and very helpful. They even prepared fresh sandwiches for our overnight hike, just as we requested the night before. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay. We had to cut it short due to medical reasons. The staff was very accommodating and professional.

We had an amazing stay. The views of the volcanos are amazing. The location is great in proximity to most things. Very walkable from the hotel. We did a couples massage and it was fantastic.

Beautiful place, except the inconveniences of the parking place, and the fact of a/c

Service was great. Wish the room had more light. Staff brought extra fan and assisted in all requests.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Naif, I love it! The team is so helpful and the location is wonderful.

This beautiful property in Antigua Guatemala, everyone on the staff was courteous and pleasant. We stay on the first floor room 103 right in front of the restaurant area, at first we thought it was going to be really noisy but it was ok with the windows closed.
Overall we had a great experience and be back on future trips.

The staff and the location were the best. All important places and best restaurants near by. Very good and safe parking near by. Highly recommend it!

The views from outside our 2nd floor room were breathtaking

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is well designed with wide balconies overlooking the garden and courtyard. Staff services was great from the check-in experience to daily room cleaning and dining services. TV has Amazon Prime and Netflix option. While our room was spacious, the bed could use a newer mattress and pillows for more comfortable rest. The toilet and shower room was very small to move around, and we are average size height and weight.

Great place to stay! Clean, accommodating staff, beautiful courtyard, and good breakfast. They were so nice, and let us check out an hour late free of charge.

This hotel is as beautiful as shown in the pictures. The rooms and property are very clean, safe, and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, polite, helpful, and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The hotel is in a very convenient location near touristy spots where you can easily walk the town. The food from the on-site restaurant is very good along with the messages from the on-site masseuse. We highly rate and recommend the Naif hotel. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

I've been to Antigua several times an stayed in quite few hotels. There's a lot to like about Hotel Naif. The rooms and the gardens are attractive. The hotel staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. There problem we had was that our room was so musty that it made our nose and throat burn and gave us a headache. After one night, we had to talk to the staff and move to a new room. They obliged. Our new room was much better but still had a mild musty smell. There is also a hotel cafe with music and it's loud in the rooms at night until 9pm. But There's so much to like but based on the smell, we will not stay again. If you have mold sensitivity, you may want to look for another hotel.

What an adorable hotel. Our driver recommended this place and we were very happy with everything, from the check in process, comfortable beds, warm shower and amazing garden. Thank you for the lovely and super beautiful stay.

The hotel is centrally located so getting to places in Antigua was very easy. The only minor complaint was the smoke from nextdoor. We stayed in room 209 and the firewood smoke in the room was constant.

Our stay was wonderful. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was great. Service was friendly. Reception wouldn’t let us park or check-in early. Not sure if that is their policy. Parking is about 6 blocks away. Internet was a little spotty.

I recommend you invest in air conditioners for each room. Couldn´t sleep well because it was too hot inside the room.

I was really expecting more from this property. I liked the location. Other than that, one of the rooms we got had a leak in the roof, right on top of one of the beds, so the bed got wet. Luckily, we got help changing to another room as soon as we reported the problem. The rooms had a smell of humidity. It is hard to sleep from the noise, especially in the first floor, because you can hear everything that is happening on the second floor. It is a good choice if you want to be at a walking distance from shops, restaurants, and the central part of Antigua.

Im general , it was a good hotel

We were all around very disappointed. First of all there was no hot water for a shower at any point during our stay, the bed was so uncomfortable we both woke up with sore hips, staff were rude, and the construction inside the hotel was obnoxiously loud starting early in the morning and was absolutely deafening when trying to check out. I resent having spent my money here.

Naif Hotel is very well located, with easy walking to the square and pretty much anywhere in Antigua. From the 2nd floor (but we were on the ground floor) there is a lovely view of the volcano. They have a nice garden. The staff is friendly and helpful, having knowledge of Spanish is helpful as some of the front office staff do not speak English. Rooms cleaned daily and very well.
Things that could be improved: The front office staff did not tell us about breakfast, supposed to be included. When I asked the second day, I was told we needed to get a coupon and then go across the street. We did, but that place was a little unhappy with coupons, and although coffee was included, a spot of milk for coffee was not and required additional small payment. That said, the breakfast was pretty good, served in a pretty garden. The hotel turns off hot water during the day, but you can ask them to turn it on if you find that the water is cold in the shower; they might run out of hot water when the hotel is full - but still lukewarm so fine for a shower. They provide filtered water in the room which is quite safe. Because toilet paper needs to go in the trash rather than in the toilet, it would be really nice if the hotel had a cover on the trash in the bathroom, particularly in our bathroom which was tiny - the trash is right in front of you. We had a wonderful time in Antigua and the hotel worked well for us. Hotel organized transport from the airport which was great.

The room was perfect, comfortable and with a beautiful view of the volcano

Absolutely gorgeous property - the design of the building and the rooms are very unique, and there is SO much greenery and gorgeous open space. Really beautiful place to stay.
Notable pros:
- Very comfortable beds
- Blackout window covers
- Quiet property
- Within walking distance of everything/anything
- Lots of lush greenery
- Purified drinking water available
Minor cons:
- Wifi in the rooms (at least in mine) was temperamental (works great in the lobby).
- The rooms are a bit musty-smelling - open window fan took care of it, but just something to be aware of if you book here
- Main floor room near the lobby can be a bit stuffy - I slept with the windows closed and locked for safety/privacy but that meant no fresh evening air in the room
Overall, I had a truly excellent stay and will likely book here again the next time I'm in Antigua.

The property has a convenient location within a few blocks from the main park. It has a nice cafe on the front. As most hotels in Antigua, this hotel has a bit of an old look and smell. The staff could be friendlier and would love for the bathroom lavatory to be inside the bathroom and not in the room.

My new favorite place at Antigua... near the park and other good restaurants. The Bistro in the lobby is a good place also. Quiet and neat rooms.
