Kind of shabby property; restaurant not open, front desk staff not very friendly,not at all welcoming, too expensive for type of property; asked for early check-in and said they had no rooms available for that-was definitely not fully occupied; unexpected charges at check-out; would not return

We stayed on the Motel side this year. We enjoyed a room with a patio. Loved how close it was to the beach and the boardwalk. Room was clean and nice.

The unit was spacious and the location was perfect. There was a kitchenette and living area on the first grand a bedroom upstairs. The air conditioner in the bedroom did not work and the windows did not open. The heat upstairs was unbearable. We notified maintenance but nothing was done about it. There were other small problems like bulbs that needed replacing but the lack of air conditioning with no outside air coming in 85 degree weather was a serious problem.
We were four people who arrived in two cars. Only one car was allowed in the parking lot. The second car had to find street parking. We were told that there were no vacancies so we couldn’t get a second spot. We stayed for three nights and there were plenty of vacant parking spots each day and each night.

Affordable place to stay, hotel is cleaned. Could use some upgrades in the pool bathroom area outdoor. In our room, 318, the tile above the shower head looks like it might fall down. The sauna and steamwell did not look like it worked that well also. Good food at the hotel is a plus. Customer service was excellent.

We stayed here with our 3 young children to enjoy a beach weekend with low expectations for a jersey shore hotel. This exceeded my lowest expectations. I found ants on my daughters food bag that I put on the dresser and on all our toiletries by the bathroom sink. The bedroom smelled so bad we had to call to have someone clean the air conditioner (I have videos of how dirty the units are) which delayed putting my babies to bed making everyone miserable. the staff even said it was really dirty and did their best to clean everything. After 2 cleaning attempts it still smelled of mold and the front desk didn’t have a room to move us to. Even basic windows and countertops had dead bugs and dirt. Lucille I cleaned the floors and areas my daughters would touch myself. We had to stay in the room with our kids who are now all congested with stuffy noses. We all have mold allergies and I’m beyond annoyed that this room was in this bad of shape. Not only was it repulsive but it was costly I don’t understand how they think it’s ok to charge over $1000 for 2 nights when the room is in this condition. Overall the location was nice and close to the boardwalk which is what we came for it was unfortunate that we couldn’t use the room. I have reached out to the staff to express my concerns several times during the trip and am hoping to come to a resolution. Do not stay at this place with kids it’s said to be family friendly resort and that is just not true. It’s your typical dive motel.

The private beach access and multiple pools are the only positive here. The room was dirty and small for 2 adults and 1 kid. We had 2 queen beds and one tiny table with one measly chair to share. Obviously 2 queen beds means at LEAST 2 people, if not more. The clerks checking us in and out were rude. They also require an additional $100 for security, yet no one mentioned that beforehand which feels sketchy.

We will absolutely stay at this hotel again it's a one minute walk to the boardwalk with their own private beach very nice pools clean updated rooms beautiful amenities and a wonderful staff thank you so much for your hard work and dedication we will recommend an absolutely stay again

Overall enjoyed my stay, it was clean and nice. My only two complaints are that the bed was very uncomfortable and the water in the shower was cold.

Property is a little dated. Room had a musty smell, but it was tolerable. They should have had more umbrellas around the chairs at the pools. Convenient location. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. We’d go back.

The restaurant thats not located in the main building should be kicked out their food was terrible and toilet leaked and there wasn't enough chairs for 4 peoples to sit on the back patio but overall it was a great stay

Expected more with the pictures shown Expedia. Coffee pot had no holder for pods. No disposable cups for rinsing in bath area. More like if you did not see it in your room, don't ask!!

This was our 3rd year staying at The White Sands and we always have a great time. They have 3 pools, 2 outside, 1 heated inside pool. There is so a hot tub, Steam room and sauna. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. We plan to stay here again next year. It is also in walking distance to the boardwalk.

Property online is of the building housing the office. Not the oceanfront property. Will not go back. Cost was $465 per night plus fees/taxes. Was very disappointed for the price. I know Pint Pleasant is more pricey than some shore towns but this hotel is not want is advertised. I

The staff at the White Sands are amazing! One of my friends left her passport with $300 in our room. The front desk got in contact with me to say it was found and it was mailed to my friend's house. Now that's service!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Parking was easy and there were plenty of spaces available, we were able to park right outside our room, making for easy loading and unloading. Loved the multiple pool options. The hotel was right on the beach, and the private section dedicated to white sands was great to avoid the large crowds. Rooms seemed very clean and were well kept. Staff was very nice and friendly. Great family atmosphere. If there was one thing I could say they could improve on (and it's really minor) it would be that our room seemed a little outdated, especially for the cost per night. We had a very small fridge, the tv was really small and low quality, and the air conditioner was quite loud and rattled a lot. But like I said before, those are MINOR things. If you're looking for a family friendly beach getaway, right on the boardwalk then white sands is great. We're looking forward to our next trip with them
