The location was close to Ubud centre and the villa kindly provides free shuttle to the centre. The staff were very helpful and kind with the villa also being very nice, cozy and clean. I would come stay here again in my next return to indonesia.

The friendliest and most helpful staff! We had such an amazing experience at Anusara and would recommend to everyone! Food is yummy, they have a complimentary shuttle to and from Ubud, they clean your room every day. We had the most perfect honeymoon!

Anusara is a piece of heaven in the jungle. Our room was incredible with gorgeous pool and amazing bathrooms. Perfect place to relax after the fun chaos of Ubud and its busy vibe. The staff are incredible nothing too much they really care about making you happy and always greet you with a smile after a day exploring their beautiful island. Please chose their hotel for you're stay.

The villa was secure and private, and the staff were attentive and professional. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and received a refreshing welcome drink! The free shuttle into Ubud central was great. The villa itself was clean and airy, with air conditioning. The pool and cabana were superb - the water was the perfect temperature to be refreshing. Our tip to enjoying the pool area in comfort is to pack insect repellent. There is construction noise from next door during the day, but it didn’t bother us. We would happily go back and will recommend Anusara to our friends and family.

Had a fabulous stay at, villas are lovely and clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially liked the fact we were upgraded for the last night into a jungle view villa. The shuttle service is good, but we would suggest hiring a scooter so that you can get around. All accommodation in Ubud seems to be on the outskirts.

We loved our villa and private pool. The staff is so helpful and personable. We truly enjoyed talking with them during our delicious meals. We were happy to dine there most of our stay. Our room was wonderful! The high ceilings were spectacular! The a/c worked well and the bed was comfy! Highly recommended for those looking for peace and quiet.

It’s highly recommended if u stay in Ubud. The hospitality of the staffs are awesome😊, well organized and the villa itself, it feels like home. Special thanks to Artha, my tour guide since the beginning of my tour, a very kind and nice person til my last day in ubud, I’ve learned a lot from him especially the cultures of balinese, the food are all perfect in villa and thanks to Artha for taking me out and had experience almost all of the food in Bali👍til next time, absolutely coming back for sure☺️Godbless!

Such a wonderful experience! Will definitely recommend staying at Anusara. The place is perfect for a relaxing holiday, but it's also easy to get to ubud or other places on bali. Everybody were so sweet and wonderful. We did both the massage by the pool and the dinner by the pool and will so recommend to do those things. We still talk about our days at Anusara!

Great location and beautiful resort with excellent breakfast. The location was quiet and peaceful and close to town without being in the hustle and bustle. The staff was amazing. The shuttle service was convenient to get to town, but the times were limited and drop off location firmly fixed (our driver wouldn’t drop us off to a place that was on the way to the drop off location and we were the only ones in the car) so we ended up having to use Grab a lot.

Anusara was our first hotel/villa in Bali and it was so luxurious and comfortable, as well as quiet. The pool was perfect, as were the 2 showers and huge bath tub. The bed was super comfortable, as was the outdoor pool bed. The massages we got were among the best in our entire 3 week trip to Indonesia. The free breakfast was delicious (get the watermelon juice). The floating breakfast was awesome! The staff was all so kind and genuine. It was just far enough from the center of town, but a close cab ride. If we ever make the 30 hour flight to Bali again, we’d stay here again!

Be careful when booking this property as not all the rooms have a view as we expected , we had room 3 and we thought we would look over the rice paddies but that view has now been replaced by a high wall and villas being built right next door , very disappointing , otherwise it was a great place , but it is 15 minutes north of ubud

10 out of 10 Paradise! The rooms were even more beautiful in person. Having a pool on the private terrace was such an indulgence. The staff went above and beyond for our comfort and happiness. After a long day of touring, we returned to a fant (excel air conditioning) oasis to choose a refreshing dip in the pool, a gentle open-air rain shower, or a leisurely soak in the carved stone tub. We had a massage on the outdoor bed. Anusara staff shared their culture with us and were curious about ours as well. Miss Agung, Dewa, Wyan, Chyudi, and others made a tasty breakfast included in our rate. We feasted like kings, Indonesian or Western or Vegetarian. Don' miss the fresh blended juices! The staff was so helpful and friendly. We completely trusted their recommendations, and they told us what to avoid and even recommended a great driver Agung. I liked that they had several full-day and half-day tours that they put together to hit all of the highlights: waterfalls, rice terraces, Sunrise Volcano Hike. One of the best activities was a cooking class recommended by Dewa - Garlic Bali Cooking Class. We were picked up and brought to the market and taught to choose the freshest ingredients. Then, we returned to the compound for a spotlessly clean, bright, airy class. Everything was laid out to prepare, and we made many courses. The finale was the sharing of the meal we had prepared. Our teacher was very patient, and we learned to respect the skill of the Balinese in cooking.

This was a nice private villa, as 4 adults, the presidential 2 bedroom villa was a good fit. We loved the private pool. The staff was kind and helpful and immediately addressed any concerns that were brought up. They provided a free shuttle with set times, and we were able to travel to downtown Ubud. Their lunch/dinner menu was limited but had enough variety. Overall a great place and we would love to come stay again!

My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of staying at Anusara the 1st week of September. I had read all of the negative reviews before travelling, and here are my thoughts.. Upsides: Anusara is off the beaten path, which was very welcome once you realize how busy Ubud is with tourists. Anusara offers 4 daily shuttles in and out of the city, which was very nice. The staff were EXTREMELY friendly and accomodating and didn’t really leave you wanting for anything. The food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the pool and room were clean and welcoming. There is no further construction immediately around the building, so no worry of anyone seeing you in the pool or bathroom. The breakfasts are delicious and filling! To get a grabcab for a trip somewhere specific, or back, would cost us about $6cdn (68000IDR). Downsides: the pictures online need to be updated, especially with some of the views now lost due to the other villas built in the area. The overall menu is a little limited, and wait times sometimes a little long, due to the small kitchen. Summary: absolutely no regrets visiting Anusara. When we wanted diversity with the food, we walked over to the Mango restaurant just up the street. The view from our Villa was spectacular to wake up to every single morning. Would highly recommend, to anyone, for a visit!

The villa is located in a quiet, peaceful area close to Ubud centre. It provides free shuttle to the Ubud Market. Great breakfast, excellent service, staffs are great. They also have the tour plan and work with the best guides. I had a great time in Bali all thanks to Anusara!

We stayed in Anusara for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The villas were clean and modern. Staff and service was excellent. Dewi was especially nice and told us a lot about Bali and Ubud area. We would definetely recommend this place for people looking to relax and to be well looked after.

Pros- Very beautiful property-staff could not have been any more welcoming and kind. Villa was very nice looking with lots of room. Loved the private pool area. Very good breakfast- did have dinner once on property and it was great. Very quiet place to stay. Barely saw any of the other guests. Cons- 20-25 mins drive from anything Pool was dirty- did not even swim in it :/ very cold water. Sheets were not the cleanest. They turn off pool waterfall at 6pm- we didn't get back to villa sometimes so did not get to enjoy it much.
