This hotel is located away from the city but not too far. My room was gorgeous & very well maintained. It’s a boutique hotel so it’s almost like you’re staying in someone’s home bcs of the personal attention you receive. Ubers are very inexpensive so you can get to the main areas w/out spending too much money.

Lovely boutique hotel in a nice quiet area on Sunset Beach, Blouberg. Direct access to the beach. The staff are brilliant and provide warm and efficient service. The room was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The restaurant is rceommended and the breakfasts were cut above what you get in a larger establishment. The only slight negative was the bed was a bit soft (which is personal taste) and the Wifi signal was poor as we were at the end of the corridor. Recommended.

Had a great stay at Bliss. Incredibly friendly staff, great location for walking the dunes and the views of Cape Town and Table Mountain are breathtaking. The room was clean , quiet and large enough. The bathroom was modern, clean , plenty of towels and had a great walk in shower! Recommended location if you want a quieter place to stay in Cape Town than the hub bub of the Waterfront.

Bliss Boutique is more of a bed and breakfast type of accommodation. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and make you feel right at home. The made to order breakfast is an added bonus and the on-site chef make fabulous dinners and desserts. The rooftop is available for lounging and drinks and the path to the beach is easy. Uber rides to downtown are very affordable and the hotel contracts with a driver for airport or tours. We had a private wine tour that was very affordable and we were never rushed. Not walkable (other than the beach), but still convenient and very peaceful! Highly recommended! :)

The Hotel is very stupidly designed. Most of the rooms are on the ground floor and might be "facing the sea" but that view is blocked by the dunes completely. The breakfast is served on de 1st floor where also the kitchen is located. As a consequence everything served in the restaurant needs to be carried up the stairs, no elevator! That Breakfast room is way too large and that room has a perfect view over the ocean. Next to the breakfast room there is a "way too large" bar that is useless. A table at the side could have hosted the coffee machine etc. Who puts a " bar" of 5,5 metres in a Boutique Hotel with maybe 10-12 rooms. The rooms ar comfy but also very strangely designed. Normally the bed is on the opposite wall of the corridor that passes the bathroom. Here the first thing you face is the bed itself with a headrest. There is a small outside space that belongs to the room itself, but without separations between your room and the next. My neighbour brought his surfboard and kite and took up all of my space also. Nice staff that cater to your needs. Venessa, the manager, is super sweet. Works way too many hours and really makes you feel welcome. She deserves a 6 star rating

In terms of service, decor, and attention to detail, this was one of the best places we stayed in South Africa. Every member of staff were switched on and attentive. The hotel was nicely decorated in a modern way. Comfy bed, solar heated pool. Notable was the quality of food for both breakfast and dinner. Amazing views from the restaurant, but well worth eating here for the food alone.

Bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. Small pool area receives very little sun due to being in middle of unit... Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.

This pictures aren’t very accurate of the rooms or amenities. The deck outside our room was shared and not private with a direct view of the large dunes that block the ocean view. The bed was super comfy, but the shower didn’t work very well. Also, no real mirror to help dry your hair. Free breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. The pool doesn’t sit facing the ocean,but faces another home. Finally, they lost our reservation for the last night, which was very disappointing. They offered another place across the street, but that is t what we wanted. The staff was very nice. Overall, it was an ok stay.

Coming out of the hotel and directly waddling the beach sand while facing Table Mountain in those tranquil mornings and evenings was pretty amazing and unforgettable. We really enjoyed our stay and felt rested after our holiday. The staff of the hotel was also very friendly and professional. Bliss personified indeed.

Super hotel. Staff were very friendly and with it being a small hotel it was a nice relaxing and a peaceful stay. Lovely breakfast with a large choice of cold and hot food available. Proximity to town centre but car hire is essential.

Hotel is beautiful and cute! The staff was willing to work with my late arrival and were super helpful and nice. The shower is a little hard to get comfortable in and my room was super cold no matter temperature I set the themestat at, but otherwise great experience

The food was excellent and the dinning room a relaxing atmosphere with a great view of Table Mountain. The staff, without exception, were friendly and very good. Made your stay so enjoyable. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing several days. The hotel is an excellent get away for a romantic weekend.

First impression was quite good. The hotel is new and they warmly welcome us. After 3 nights: - towel rail broke even twice and second time nobody informed us. The manager said that we should come to him to tell. It would not be part of the job from the maid to inform the management... strange behavior in my opinion. - the bathrobe and the towels are of poor quality. We got the fluff all over the room and our clothes as well. - Breakfast was good but you cannot get any supplement what we did not expect. It was the order from the management... again strange behavior in my opinion. - the ocean view is blocked by the dunes but you have a private access through a small path to the beach - the team is still "in education" except the Chef. He is the best guy at Bliss and one of the only person who really looks for the guests. The management is absolutly driven by profit... - I hope they keep our advisory in mind and increase the guest experience for future.

We arrived at around 7:30 PM and to our disappointment, the kitchen was closed for dinner due to staff training. There are many interesting restaurants in the area though. Our rooms on the back side, ground floor. It was quite shocking to see a huge sand dune as our view. There's a gate though from the hotel to the dune -- be sure to walk over the dune to find a nice beach! Fabulous view of the Table Mountain, beach cove with hundreds of paragliders and parasailers! Go to the rooftop deck, Enjoy a drink from the bar, watch the sunset and take in the activity on the water. A very memorable afternoon to sunset! We had a bad meal on our 2nd night but the dinner on the 3rd night was superb! Breakfasts are hearty and good! Will definitely go back there.
