Private and peaceful cottages. Very generous breakfast supplies and lots of other nice touches. Close to Watervale Hotel for excellent meals.

Loved the quiet location. Breakfast provisions were first class. No cooktop but electric frypan and microwave oven were more than sufficient for cooking. Comfortable and very nicely decorated.

Our stay at Battunga Cottages was perfect. The cottage is furnished with all the comforts of home, and the special extras, like the welcome wine and cheese just made it all the more special. The setting is sublime, looking out across the paddocks and gum trees, with constant bird chatter.

Great little cottage with quaint decorations and ambience

a good location to stay in the Clare Valley as in Watervale so mid way between Auburn and Clare. You need a car to get around but you can hire bicycles to ride the Riesling Trail for something different. Provisions left for breakfast in our cottage were more than ample and of local excellent quality. Kerry even gave us a loaf of her freshly baked bread. We walked to the ridge at the back of the property twice (about a 20 min return walk) and saw 10 kangaroos bounding along. Heating was welcome with a pot bellied stove and r/c aircon if needed. A private and quiet location about 5 mins drive from the main road in Watervale.

We had a relaxing 2 night stay at Battunga Cottages. Fresh baked bread given on arrival. Wine, cheese, olives crackers and chocolates welcoming gift plus everything you could need to cook a very substantial breakfast. Very peaceful location, cottage was very clean and beautifully furnished. Everything you could need provided. Short drive into Watervale and surrounding wineries.

This property is extremely well appointed. The provisions provided for breakfast and snacks would satisfy any appertite. The quiet location also allows easy access to great restaurants and cellar doors. In a word, fabulous.

Our stay was perfect! To the freshly baked bread, the friendly dog and the beautiful view from our cottage. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful ambiance. The freshly baked muffins were a special touch.

Little self contained cottage with specious setup.Woodfire heating and AC. Freshly baked bread by the owner and eggs from their own chucks. Beautiful scenery with great outside area to have breakfast or dinner. Also lovely playful dog. Walk up on the hill of the property to see the beautiful sunset

The room was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. The fresh bread and muffin delivery was welcomed.

Great place to stay in a peaceful, natural environment. Cottage very clean and comfortable for two people, location great only short drive to wineries and restaurants. Friendly, helpful host who gave us freshly baked bread on arrival as part of our breakfast provisions provided. Highly recommended

Really nice, peaceful, romantic cottage with a combustion heater and reverse cycle so nice and warm. Owners were very pleasant and helpful with info on meals/wineries etc. Will go again.

Battunga B&B provided a pleasant and comfortable stay for our recent two night Clare Valley get away. A very pleasant location central to the entire Clare Valley wine region which made for short, easy and enjoyable tips to all of our planned destinations. Our Rosella Room was very clean and comfortable, and the fresh eggs, tomatoes, bacon and bread made for a delicious and wholesome breakfast both mornings. Our Queen size bed was warm and comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was spacious.A couple of minor details which would improve the overall comfort would have been fresh/working batteries in the AC remote control so we could get the AC going (it was quite chilly in the mornings waiting for the wood combustion heater to get going), a large hearty rug on the cold living room slate floor to also take the edge of the chill, and a better place for the wall mounted TV rather than above the microwave in the kitchenette..!

Great base for a farm stay in the heart of the Clare Valley, with a peaceful rural setting, and a tidy cottage that has everything a couple needs to make for a cosy getaway.

The b&b is quite secluded and several k’s from nearest village.It is comfortable and quiet.

A great peaceful location. We were met by Joylene on arrival. A lovely lady and very helpful. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and spacious. It is well appointed. The breakfast was generous and tasty, country eggs, smoked thick bacon and fresh baked bread. Sitting outside having nibbles and some of our local wine purchases, listening and watching the birds flit and chirp was a great way the enjoy the settling sun.

Spent two nights here which was very nice, a couple of things that was not owners fault but should have been let know, DVDs was old and found out original was taken by previous guests also no key to lock cottage which is OK given its location
