Enjoy this one bedroom cozy home with a beautifully landscaped yard and deck to enjoy for those morning coffees. Very safe neighborhood with securiry cameras outside the home. A short walk away to Tim Hortons, grocery store and a Shoppers Drug Mart. Five minutes drive to the marina and Hillcrest Park for beautiful views of the Sleeping Giant in the harbour of Lake Superior. 5 min drive to downtown Port Arthur.

This clean little house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well equipted, the bed was comfortable, patio was delightful and internet was reliable. The house was walking distance to stores. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Thunder Bay.

This was a well located home for our visit. Grocery and shopping are located very close. A quiet neighborhood to relax in on down time. The home is well stocked and easy to care for. We will definitely book again.

Our second stay at this home for my hubby and I. In town to visit family. While the kitchen is well equipped with appliances, kitchen utensils etc it would be nice to have a few more dinner plates, dishes and glasses. The dining table is set up for 6 but only four dinner and 4 small plates. This time around we noticed an unpleasant moldy smell coming through the heating vents which is a little concerning. This is early spring but the yard needs some TLC. We sat out a few times to enjoy the sun. Otherwise this home is clean and tidy.

This rental was clean, comfy & well equipped. The location was convenient with off-street parking that made for easy loading and unloading (something that becomes necessary as we get older!). Communication with the owner was timely and excellent. This rental in Thunder Bay was a wonderful base to relax after enjoying local waterfalls and scenery.

The house was cute and perfect for a weekend girls trip to the city. I have no complaints and would stay there again. I love the artwork the home owner chose to display in the living room. I would like to suggest less scented plug ins for those who may have allergies, as my friend struggled a bit in that regard. The sofa's are a little hard for me and may make it difficult for an extended stay. (I'm constantly tying to find a home with a recliner due to back issues.) A recliner would have been a welcomed addition. All-in-all, it was so much nicer than booking a hotel! Thank you.

Came to Thunder Bay for my granddaughter first birthday… was able to enjoy their company in a homey environment… so many small details made the experience positive… kitchen was amazingly well stocked with small appliances and all I needed to serve them a meal … definitely would book again!

Had a great stay at this home. It was the perfect small place for my husband and I to stay and visit family in town. Everything you could need was available. Well stocked kitchen. The home was spotless and we liked the added touch of having Christmas decorations. Would definitely book again for a future visit.

This one bedroom accommodation is a rare find if you’re looking for a place independent of the noise and long hallways of standard hotels. The owner has provided guests with the amenities of your own home in a spacious but cozy setting. Services of a small mall are within walking distance…a grocery sore, drug store, dollar store, and the ubiquitous Tim’s for coffee shop convenience. The neighborhood is family oriented and felt safe. I would highly recommend it also as a lone traveller such as I was.

We had a great time in Thunder Bay and our VDBO stay made it much more so. Excellent communication, easy check in and a lovely home in a great neighborhood. The house is close to downtown but in a quiet residential neighborhood. It was extremely clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Some VRBO hosts make it feel like you can’t make a move without breaking some rule. Not at all the case with this host. She made us feel welcome and like we were a guest in her home, not a customer. If we’re ever back in Thunder Bay, this will be our home! Thank you so much!

Loved the cleanliness and great location. We walked to Tim Hortons and Metro grocery store. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner after a day of exploring on our Lake Superior Circle Tour. I would definitely stay again if we are ever back in Thunder Bay.

This was the worst experience we’ve ever had at a VRBO property. Upon arrival, I went to the front door to enter the lock code. As I touched the keypad, the door pushed open. The home had not been locked or secured upon our arrival. After my husband went inside to make sure no one was in the home, we began to bring in our belongings. This very small 800 sq ft house had 4 plug in air fresheners and a oil diffuser going. All of the different smells and chemicals were very overbearing, so we immediately unplugged everything. I couldn’t help but wonder what the owner was trying to cover up?? After a long day of travel, we wanted to go to bed. Just before going to bed, my husband also noticed a dryer sheet in the floor vent in the kitchen. Again, why so many things to freshen the air?? I awoke at 2am with the worst headache, and my husband was not feeling well. We had to open windows to get fresh air. This stay was in March, so it was very cold outside. So many chemicals in the air, or possibly whatever they were trying to hide we’re making both of us ill, so we packed up and left the property before 8am. I finally started to feel better after being out of the house with fresh air after 30 minutes. I messaged the owner about this and she (Cardinal’s wife) simply said ‘sorry it didn’t work out’, and did not even address the fact that the house was not locked upon our arrival. Staying at this property made my husband and I ill. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The house is so cozy and comfy, much needed after 2.5 days traveling. We really did not have much time to enjoy the property but will certainly be booking on future visits to Thunder Bay. Our host was very attentive and fantastic to work with as well. Thanks

The owner has gone above and beyond to make this place homey and comfortable. Even nice Christmas decorations! Very comfortable bed and furnishings, nice deck and yard. Quiet neighborhood close to everything. Definitely will be back!
