Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: There is a dock slip for guest use, to locate you will walk out directly in front of the cabin lakefront, turn left on walking path in front of the lake, as you are looking at the lake you will see the gas pumps, the dock is the furthest right dock at the gas pumps looking at the lake.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Lazy Bear is perfectly located. The cabin is modern and updated with comforts. The front deck is a great place to gather and cocktail. There is a gas grill on the deck. The lake is very nice. We rented a pontoon boat from Cedaroma and docked it at the pier for the property. Close to many attractions in the area. The check in and out worked flawlessly. Although a bit pricey, we would recommend and possibly rent again.

They did a wonderful job updating this cabin - well thought out and appointed. We were all very comfortable and happy. It felt great to stay in a clean, updated and tidy cabin. Would definitely stay again. We did not realize it was a property on the old Black Bear Resort property. We didn’t mind, but should be noted (unless we missed somehow). It would be nice to have a broom for the deck to help keep debris off. The outside furniture was comfortable but needed some dusting off and cleaning. We would’ve loved to open the windows on the cooler days to let fresh air in, but couldn’t figure it out. We rented a boat from a Marina near by. We used the laundry mat down the road Maybe a window clean would help???

This is a very clean, beautifully remodeled cabin with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of bath towels. Coffee, ice cream, bait shop, restaurants, grocery store and laundromat are all located nearby. There is a public boat launch on the property with your own private dock a short walk from the cabin. There is not a beach or fire ring but this didn't matter for us - we came to fish.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at The Lazy Bear! The house was recently renovated and just beautiful! The place was spotless, had a well-equipped kitchen, new appliances - exceeded my expectations! Pillowtop mattresses with lots of pillows and blankets ensured a restful night of sleep. We fished off of the dock, walked through the beautiful setting, and took lots of pictures of wildlife. This home is close to many restaurant options, shopping, and fun! I would definitely rent again - we did not want to leave!!
