Amazing experience. 100% recommended. Best place to be relaxing and the location is just a few minutes from the Plitvice Lake National Park. Definitely coming back!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom house called Pinus in November which meant it was quite cold and was below freezing overnight. It is heated with ONLY a fireplace which took us at least 6 hours to get the rooms to a comfortable warmth. This was a big problem for us, because we had spent the whole day walking in the national park and just wanted warmth. The disappointing part is that the staff know that this house does not have a heating system, and it seemed like the fireplace had only been lit shortly before we arrived. We assume that noone had stayed in the lodging the night before, because it took so long to warm up the floors, furniture, etc. We had to get up several times during the night to put more firewood in the fireplace to keep the place warm. Knowing the low temperature of the time of year and how long it takes a small fireplace to heat an entire "cabin," we would have expected the staff to start the fireplace much earlier in the day. Additionally, there was no glove provided to open the fireplace door which was VERY HOT to the touch. We did call reception and they sent housekeeping with a cloth. Also, we were disappointed that if we used more than one tea bag or instant coffee packet per person, we would be charged 3 euros for each additional one. This policy seemed out of sorts for the pricing of the lodging. I had read about this in one of the reviews and frankly thought it must have been a mistake but found out that it was true (see picture attached).

Beautifully arranged resort-like grounds with rustically-elegant individual cottages. An excellent restaurant is on the grounds, and there are lots of well-landscaped paths and gardens. A nice surprise that this is a "real" hotel organization in a country where many of the so-called hotels are often just conglomerates of airbnb unts owned and grouped by one absentee owner.

Beautiful grounds! Quiet in natural setting. Loved this location for our Plivitze stay! Everyone from the restaurant to the check in couldn’t have been friendlier and so helpful.

We would stay in this beautiful lake area however feel that the 'luxury' component to this site is missing somewhat & their serving staff need more training in customer service. We had good experience from reception staff he didn't have an attitude. We would recommend the closeness to the unofficial gate 3 to access the park. Poor sleeping arrangements with beds not comfortable - average stay overall.

We thought this hotel was part of the park. But it is not so they will not extend your park tickets another day. The young man at reception, gave us wrong directions. Breakfast was average. The rooms were clean but bed sheets itchy,

We had a wonderful 1 night stay at the Fenomen Hotel after visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park. The service was superb and the property is breathtaking. Our children loved the trampoline and the breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return one day.

Loved the property as beautiful secluded area, all new units as of 2018, and best thing is that you can take a short walk into the P3 zone and walk thru the entire park from a rarely used access point.Highly recommend!

Pros: location is superb, you can easily walk to beautiful vistas, and one of the entrances to the park, staff were lovely, place was clean. Cons: (delivered in the spirit of improvement!) We could only use the hot tub once because you only get one booking even with a two night trip. It’s nice that you have it to yourself for an hour but the charge is 30euro if you want to use it again. I’m sure giving each cottage an hour a day is doable. There was only enough hot water for one shower and wait, or 2 very fast showers. Learned the hard way! (Just mention it upon check in!) There is a charge for tea bags if you use more than the two complimentary. I don’t even drink tea but this is not a warm and hospitable message. Provide 2 a day for the $200+/ day. It was hard to tell if you’re trying to be economy or luxury. (Be luxury! The place is beautiful enough but no teabag messages!!) Finally the cottage is supposed to sleep 3 people, we had 2 twin beds. Nothing was in the upstairs loft. Didn’t need it but wonder if that’s where the third bed would be?

A villa style hotel is located in mountain. The room is very cozy. All staffs were nice and helpful. The rate at this season was very friendly, hopefully, it will not too much in warm seasons.

Proper 5 star resort. Felt very luxorious in the middle of the woods. It was a quick 15 minutes ride to entrance one. The spa was awesome too after so much walking. We dined in the restaurant and did not love it. It was expensive for mediocre food a d pretty small portions. Next time we would be very happy to stay there again but would go off property for dinner. Also receptionistwas extremely knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for your help

I was leaving at 7:30am, and at 7:18am I asked the restaurant to allow me to pick up some food to go, but they were not friendly as they said breakfast was not ready until 7:30, though fruits and bakery and nuts were ready.

Wonderful place! The setting and location is amazing, the room we stayed in had everything we could have asked for. In the morning, we had breakfast then strolled to the local creek (a Plitvice in miniature). Petted a friendly cat.

We enjoyed a lot our Weekend there, super close to the national park you can go by walking. The service at the restaurant is really nice, the quality is excellent and with fair prices. The room is perfect, you have everything to rest and be calm.

Very nice "modern rustic" facility, friendly staff; at end of a small road (making you think you might not be in the right place); setup can be a bit challenging for those who are elderly or with limited mobility or a disability; close and convenient to an entrance to the spectacular Plitvice National Park
