We chose this house to be close to family in Mary Lake so the location was ideal. The house was well suited to our family and my children really enjoyed the pool and outside TV room. It was clean and well presented and we really liked the light and bright interior. We would have benefited from a greater range of plates and general crockery and a gas bbq but this was our only minor drawback. Overall the place was wonderful and the host was responsive and helpful. Would recommend

So excited for our trip to Redding to celebrate our sons birthday and hit the water park. Home looked great in pics and was close to all we wanted to do. Communication was great in the beginning but once we arrived we noticed quite a bit of hair, dust and cobwebs. It looked like the house had been shut down for awhile. Closet tracks, window tracks, were the worst. I actually was able to write my name in the dust on the TV table console. We immediately messaged the owner and complained, we also sent pics, she apologized. We asked for a vacuum which she said would be in the garage, it was not, and she proceeded to tell us the housekeeper did take it with her. I asked for it to please be delivered as we could not sweep and wipe up all the mess that was there. It did not come. I then complained the next day about it, no communication but then it was delivered about 2 hours later. I ended up asking for a partial refund as we spent a lot of time cleaning. First impressions were that it was not a clean home, so then you feel like nothing was cleaned/ sanitized properly, so we cleaned it. The house is now cleaner than how we found it! That put a damper on the whole trip. Still have not heard from the owner. If you do not mind cleaning, and then get charged a cleaning fee, this house is great!

House was great overall. Although there the pool was pretty dirty and it was pretty much the main attraction for the kids. There were no coffee filters, and the inflatable mattress did not work luckily we were prepared. Other than that the location was quiet and safe, the house inside was clean and comfortable!

We had a fabulous time. The weather wasn’t great, but when the sun was out we certainly got great use of the pool. All beds were super comfortable and the home has all the amenities needed to feel at home. Kathy was a great host, we had an issue with online access and she responded within minutes and we were online shortly after. Thank you Kathy!

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, property was well taken care of, pool was clean and warm. Kathy, the host, stayed in touch and was easy to communicate with. My family had so much fun and we would definitely come back to stay!

The house was beautiful during our stay. I was grateful for the clear instructions and clean home. I felt sorry I had to leave edible food in the refrigerator but our flight was leaving and we had to get out asap. We didn't really like the open windows of the home. LOVED how open and spacious it made the house feel but felt insecure because there were no window coverings in the main house (living room/kitchen). The garage was also clean and spacious. Thank you so much for the nice stay. :)

We really enjoyed the pool and bonus room. Our grandson celebrated his birthday with hours of water fun. Owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Our kiddos loved the pool. Kitchen was fairly well equipped; there were even some spices and oils. Room for two cars in the garage. The king bedroom with ensuite and sliding door was lovely. The queen bedroom was smaller, but adequate. The pool house was a fun hangout space for the kiddos too. Lots of fun things to do nearby, including Waterworks, Whiskeytown lake, Turtle Bay, and multiple playgrounds.

Beautiful, clean, modern home! Great location for day trips to Lake Shasta and Whiskeytown Lake. It was so nice coming back to this home and enjoying pool time after long days of boating. Our group was 2 adults and 4 teens- plenty of room to gather as a group and also great spaces for teens to hang out on their own as well. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house in the Mary Lake neighborhood of Redding. The house was very comfortable, and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the beautiful backyard. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying here. We have stayed at many different VRBO and this one by far was amazing. It fit our family comfortably. There was 7 of us that stayed. The house was very well stocked with all the things we needed for our stay and to use in the kitchen. It was in a great location. Nice quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and the kids loved the pool. We will definitely be staying again in the future when we go up to visit our daughter. The owner was great and stayed in touch through our whole stay and answered any questions we had.

It was great staying at Kathy's home for our winter break! The house was well-stocked and had everything for a relaxing holiday. Sundial bridge and Garden of Lights were stunning local attractions. Mt Shasta ski park and "snowman's sledding hill" were an hour drive up, and satisified our craving for winter sports.

Kathy's communication was really great and she went above & beyond to make us feel so welcome in her home. The house was in a nice & quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful & large backyard. The inside was very clean, nicely remodeled, and had everything we needed. The home and host were both lovely and we would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Redding!

Good not be happier with our decision to rent this home…perfect location for boating…very short drive to Whiskeytown lake…Kathy was an amazing host and immediately returned all inquiries…pool was very clean and well maintained…could lay in hammock for hours
