ABOUT THE HOUSE
Families and large groups will relish in the immense open-concept living space of this home, featuring vaulted ceilings, brand new furnishings, and huge South-facing picture-windows capturing rolling hillsides and the Sawatch Mountain Range. The living room features comfortable sofas and armchairs with seating for the entire family, a 48” TV w/ cable, and a large gas fireplace. The sunny dining room presents a large dining table with seating for eight, and there is room for 4 more guests at the adjacent kitchen bar. A well-appointed kitchen features a 5-burner gas stove, dual wall-mounted ovens, large refrigerator, and all of the cookware & utensils needed to prepare the most elaborate of meals; home chefs will find themselves right at home! A breakfast nook with seating for 4 is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and read the paper. Can’t get away from work and need to check your email? There is a perfect home office area adjoining the breakfast nook available for you to get some work done. A laundry room with utility sink rounds out this main-level area, as well as the spacious 3-car garage. Off of the living room, the large deck overlooks the rolling hillside and Sawatch Mountain Range, complete with lounge chairs and plenty of sunshine; views abound.
Upstairs, a large library and lounge await at the top of the stairs; the perfect place to get away, relax, and read a book. The huge master bedroom upstairs features a plush King-size bed, 65” TV w/ cable, private South-facing deck, massive walk-in closet, and private en-suite bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. A second Queen bedroom is found upstairs, complete with plush bedding and an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
On the lower level, a second social space is found in the downstairs living room, complete with a 65” TV w/ cable, leather couch, and large armchairs; the perfect place to enjoy a movie night! Off of this downstairs living room, a large King bedroom features plush bedding, large walk-in closet, ceiling fan, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The 4th bedroom has 2 full-size beds and a large walk-in closet, while the 5th bedroom features 2 twin-over-twin log-framed bunkbeds; perfect for the kids! These 2 bedrooms share a sunny “jack-and-jill” bathroom complete with a shower/tub combo. A sliding patio door grants access to the large outdoor area from the bunkbed room.
Outside, views abound with lush rolling hillsides and the jagged Sawatch Mountain Range. A ground-level patio offers two huge chaise lounges to relax in, and the large wraparound yard is perfect for outdoor activities of all sorts. From the backyard there is even access to hiking trails on the hundreds of acres of preserved community Open Space. Enjoy mountain living at its finest from this large South-facing outdoor area!
THE LOCATION
Hit the slopes at the legendary ski resorts of Vail (18-minute drive), Beaver Creek (12-minute drive), and Arrowhead (8-minute drive). For a relaxing day closer to home, drive 5 minutes to downtown Edwards for a morning of shopping, then grab lunch and dinner at one of the many local restaurants; we highly recommend Juniper for New American bites, The Rose for a unique and intimate setting with delicious bites, The Craftsman for the best sandwiches around, and Zino for house-made pastas & a pre-dinner game on their outdoor bocce ball court. Finish off the day with an ice-cold local beer at Gore Range Brewery or other local breweries.
