Beware : this is not the Pullman!!! This is privately managed, you can’t complain to the hotel if there’s an issue. Massively noisy family above us, can’t complain, then told after they owned that property, just shows how little they respect other guests if they act like that!

Closeness to beautiful beach and peace and quiet of the resort was amazing.

Absolutely loved our stay in the swimout apartment. Perfect spot, kids had a ball. The pool is fantastic. The welcome email from the owners was thorough and comprehensive, even gave great suggestions as to what to see and do as well as restaurant recommendations. This is definitely on our list to come back too. Only very minor issue was the sliding doors were very heavy to use onto the outdoor area but the humidity contributed to this as they stuck with the heat and moisture. Thanks

Owner was not contactable for many hours after my partner received an electrical shock from the toaster and blew out the circuit breaker. No test tags were on any electrical appliance except for the rangehood that was tested on 2017. Some 4 hours later she called and advised the breakers were outside the unit in a communal cupboard. Said we had spent over $200 on food, that much had to be thrown out from no power and had thawed.
Floor was very dirty as there was no mop for cleaning i was a towel and was discusted in the level of dirt found.
Couches need steam cleaning as does the chairs around the table and outdoor setting.
Pity there is no photo uploads of showing you what to expect as i asked for the owners details as she never even questioned how my partner was after getting shocked....

We had a brilliant time and a lot of our satisfaction was due to the total professionalism of Juanita! Top property recommended without reservation!!

The property itself is great and the swim out room we stayed in was fantastic. The only issue I had with the place was that they do not heat the pool in Winter. I realise the weather is warm but it’s not hot so the pool water doesn’t warm up on its own. I thought that with a huge pool like that they would want people to swim in it however my kids only went in once.

I booked through wotif and when I arrived at the resort they knew nothing about my booking!!! They didn’t know who wotif was let alone have our booking.
We had no where to go as we had no car and limited funds. I tried to cancel the booking and it said I was unable to due to it being after 6:00 pm - ( it was still 5:30 pm in brissy at this time). I argued the point and they said I’d have to pay a $300 cancellation fee. I explained to her that the resort doesn’t even have our booking so why am I getting hit with a $300 fee? Told me this was their policy. I argued the point and she said she would escalate my case and would hear back within 72 hrs. In meantime we still had no where to stay. We had to pay $600 to stay 2 nights with this resort until we could figure out what to do.
I check my emails in the morning and I see there is an email at 12:30am telling me how to get into the facility (which was the sea temple) to enjoy my stay. What was I supposed to do from 2:00 pm the day before when I needed it!!!
I receive another email after 72 hrs from Wotif telling me that they are sorry but they cannot waiver the $300 fee. I called my bank and deactivated my account so no monies could be taken out.
I am NEVER ever going to book through Wotif again….NEVER!!! So if someon is reading this take note of what happened to us.

The pool is amazing, very friendly staff

This property is suited to families with children, it is not a tranquil getaway for younger or older couples. It is a bit tired, very noisy, and has quite limited food and drink options, the food quality is hit and miss. The breakfast service is way overpriced for a rather tired looking buffet, and for $38 expresso coffees are not included.

Amazing resort. The pool is sensational and staff are really friendly. Rooms are great, well appointed. We had the swimout room it was perfect.
8.0
Communication and instructions from the owner were great and very responsive. The resort was under staffed so facilities such as room service and the restaurant were unavailable but we were not given any notification of this prior to our arrival and this did impact some of the ease we had anticipated for our stay.

Nice modern property. Excellent location within the resort.

Beautiful place to stay with all the facilities included so we could just relax. Very spacious flat so that everyone can feel they have their own space. Good for our family of 5. The Pullman facilities are there if you need them. Great location but you do need a car. Beautiful outlook so close to the beach and feels like the full tropical experience. We would stay there again

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. The apartment was equipped with everything needed. However, floors weren’t clean upon arrival, range-hood was not cleaned and there were a few things that weren’t working like the clothes dryer and main bedroom door to balcony could not lock. It’s a beautiful apartment regardless but may need more maintenance. Will be back again soon

Loved the walk out swim lagoon. Private swim spaces. Spacious rooms for families.

We had a great two day stay in apartment 174 for our annual girls weekend.
Heaps of space and the beds super comfy.
The swim out apartment was excellent....and in the afternoons we would swim around to the bar for cocktails!! At night we ventured out for a walk on the beach which is very close by. Only disadvantage is it is about a 5 minute drive to the main strip- this didn’t worry us as we were more than happy to buy supplies to make our own food and drinks and spend the majority of the time at the apartment soaking up the sun.

Beautiful resort. The pool is amazing !! The garden areas are stunning. Rooms are large and comfortable they have everything you need. The restaurant aluco was lovely. The pool bar was ok. Great family get away

Great unit, full kitchen definitely an advantage. Having access to spa on the roof top was helpful as there wasn’t enough seats around the pool.

I booked this place based on reviews of exceptional, I guess my view of exceptional is different to everybody else? I stayed around the end of Covid restrictions in Queensland so the hotel was quiet. Restaurant was not open everyday. One night someone had a party, lot’s of yelling, so it echoed around the resort. Annoying! The room had no TV remote when I arrived. The bed was a little shabby, pillows dreadful. No housekeeping service. Only one toilet roll for a 7 day stay. I had a lagoon facing room, so in peak season I’d imagine these type of rooms to be very noisy. Golf course view would be better. Oh and they started replacing the roof when I stayed. It’s also not really walkable to Macrossan street. Apart from the above I loved PD. Resort stay was 6.5/7 out of 10

We had a fantastic family holiday. The property was a great sized property with a swim out pool, which came in handy with 3 children. Great alfresco area that goes out into the swim out pool which is adults could use.
Great kitchen facilities which consist of a large fridge, cook top, oven and dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and I will definitely be going back once this Covid 19 craziness ends

Stayed at Sea Temple in December with wife and two children and had an amazing time. Absolutely loved the simplicity of the design of this hotel and the rooms. Symmetry is all around and helps give a relaxing feel. Beautifully maintained tropical gardens set the scene. Front entrance is enticing, furnishings are very "designer" and tropical and we couldn't wait to get into the pool. Love the burning flames from the pillars in the pool at night also. You can swim forever in the lagoon pool, as my children did, around and around the resort, only coming back for a quick break and an ice-cream before they were off again. Needless to say, they were exhausted at night. Gave me time to relax and read. Ate a few meals at the restaurant which was great (the pool bar is excellent for lunch). Good modern menu as you would expect. Would have loved to stay for longer to fully use the apartment facilities. Kitchen was well equipped and modern. Excellent place for a family holiday or even for couples I would imagine. Back in a heartbeat.

Sea Temple is fabulous. Together with two friends, my husband and I stayed for 5 nights in December. What a dream of a place! Magnificent apartments with beautiful furnishings and cooking facilities, the main room opened up onto a private terrace with the pool immediately in front of that. Each apartment has covered and lockable garaging for your car and the whole resort is very well maintained. A truly fabulous place to stay. We were there just before the main holiday season so it didn't appear crowded at all, in fact quite the opposite. The pool and canals are really something, it took us about 20 minutes to walk in the water all around the circular lagoons and main pool. Wonderful. The restaurant is very good, although we ate more often in Port Douglas, which is a very vibrant town with plenty to do and see.

Stunning and luxurious resort. We stayed at Sea Temple for five nights in November. I couldn't recommend it more highly. I am very fussy about accommodation but I was certain I was in the best place in Port Douglas. It was as good as anywhere I have ever stayed. Spotlessly clean and very modern. We enjoyed floating around the enormous pool and the spa is a great place to relax and chat with friends. The swimout apartments are fabulous as you can drop in for drinks with friends. Some apartments get more sun than others so location is important in this resort. The restaurant is lovely - next time I would eat there more often as eating in Port Douglas is hit and miss and not much cheaper than the resort restaurant. However, the apartments are very well equipped for cooking in, ours even had a barbeque. Best coffee in the main street is at the Whileaway bookshop. The Cane Toad racing at the Iron Bar in main street (7.30pm each night) is not to be missed if you have young kids. I found the Low Isles trip with Sailaway to be terrific. This is the place to stay in Port Douglas.

Villa 313 was centrally located, immaculate with beautiful interior design, modern appliances and all the comforts of home. The carport and garage were quite small, parking the large hire car was a bit tight but we managed. The hosts Juanita and Mark were an absolute pleasure to liaise with, were extremely responsive and accommodating. The resort facilities were great, we used the gym and the main lagoon pool.

10 out of 10. We had been looking forward to our holiday for almost a year and Sea Temple did not disappoint. Our apartment was so comfortable we didnt want to leave. Large, open plan living with cooking facilities, king beds, balcony and roof-top terrace with jacuzzi and Weber facilities. The kitchen was well equipped so it was just like being at home. We spent long hours sitting out looking at the pool reading a book or in the jacuzzi at the end of the day.The food at the pool bar is great for lunches and the restaurant has views over the swimming pool, its beautiful at night as the torches light up the pool. The resort is fairly big so it can take a a while to walk around, fortuntaly our apartment was in a great position. It would be fun holidaying at Sea Temple with a group so Im trying to talk my friends into coming with us next year. This is one of the most gorgeous resorts I have ever stayed.

We absolutely loved this penthouse apartment and having such lovely surroundings and privacy made us feel like we were in our own world when we wanted to be with anything we needed close by.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Sea-Temple Luxury Apartments. From the communication with the property, the accommodation and the facilities, there was nothing wanting. The pool is fantastic and suitable for all ages with both deep and shallow areas. The breakfast buffet is good, the same as most, except the hotel makes AWFUL coffee. The pod machine in our room was MUCH better. The beds were comfy, with both hard and soft pillows and the kitchen was well provisioned. I can't wait until we can stay again.

Just beautiful
The best experience
Rooms are big, good beds, nice bathrooms and kitchen.
Pool access to main pool very good.

The accommodation was beautifully positioned within the SeaTemple complex that we knew we were on holidays the minute we walked into the apartment. We have booked to come back next year!

Fantastic apartment on a exceptionally beautiful resort. We had a fabulous week here. We were blown away by it on arrival. It was spotlessly clean and everything was catered for, right down to dishwasher tablets. The pool is enormous and was very quiet during our stay. I can’t recommend it enough. Hotel staff were really friendly and advised us on some day trips including the outer reef and Daintree rainforest, both were incredible and the highlight of our trip to Australia. Our only regret is that we had to leave.

The two bedroom swimout apartment was spacious and well appointed. The patio was a nice size and we loved being able to access the pool straight out the doors of the apartment. Unfortunately as we were here in winter the pool was a bit chilly as it is unheated (apparently the pool is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and it is not practicable to heat it), although we still braved the water a few times. It was quite nice when sunny, I think we were a little unlucky with the weather during our stay though. The apartment was in need of a little maintenance in some areas, there was a little damp in some places and a lick of paint would brighten it up a bit. But otherwise it was very comfortable.
Access to the beach from the resort was very quick and easy. It is a little way out of town, about 7-10 minutes drive, or there is a bus which can take you into town. There are a couple of places to eat within walking distance, and we had a decent Thai delivered right to our door. But the kitchen was well set up for cooking meals which we did most nights. A laundry with washer and dryer and laundry detergent was super useful.

What a fantastic place to stay for a family holiday. We had the 3 bedroom villa for 6 nights, and it was just perfect. So relaxing having plenty of space for the family, including our own plunge pool and bbq. Also so close to the beach that we could hear the waves when we woke up in the morning. Resort facilities were great as well. Would definitely recommend!! Very sad to leave

I would definitely recommend this property as a must stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and in good condition with all the amenities required. The pool was absolutely stunning with two surrounding bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Pullman is located only about 7 minutes drive from town. Overall a great stay!

Great place to stay- a little out of the heart of the town- but right on the beach
The property is great for a small family holidaying- the resort had all the amenities we were looking for
We would not hesitate in staying here again or recommending it to others

We had a wonderful stay at the Sea Temple Port Douglas. The lagoon pool is amazing. What a beautiful place to relax We will be back
