Pam runs a first class operation! Our room was comfortable and well stocked with towels, blankets and even robes. The property is located close to distilleries and shopping areas. We were made to feel like family. Can’t wait to go back

Beautiful old home that has been turned into a long running B&B. Our rooms (English suite) were spacious with lots of room to spread out. The bathroom was huge and well lit and also had space for each of us to have our own sink. Loved the off street parking. The host was friendly supplying us with both excellent breakfasts and good conversation. When we are in the Lexington area, we will certainly keep this B&B in mind!

This place is very dirty and ancient, not quant. Immediately you're hit in the face with several smells, some diffuser trying to overpower the bad smells. The inn keeper slept on the couch every time we walked in which was weird. The dog was cute. The minute we got into our room I smelled pee. My husband smelled cat litter but I think it was a combo of the pee and other gross scents mixed with their diffuser. I sniffed and found a pee scent on the bed, going through each layer of the sheets, smelling it but not seeing a stain. I told the inn keeper and she didn't believe me. She came up and said she didn't smell it. When I persisted, she went to the mattress layer and found a massive pee stain. Apparently an elderly couple who wore diapers stayed in there last. Since there were no extra rooms she suggested we took a mattress from a different room: but how if it was all full? Anyway she had me and my husband carry the pee mattress out and the new one in. Even after the change it still smelled so bad in the room. It was so dirty and I just felt disgusting sleeping here. They didn't even have hand soap, she said to use the face wash. Also, our door knob barely worked it was about to fall off. I poured myself wine in the room but the glasses were so musty smelling I could not enjoy the wine. Could not have left fast enough

The Innkeeper was excellent with clients and prepared the very best breakfast every day! We will stay in the Cottage next time. We did enjoy the house and of course Sadie!

Husband & I planned a trip for our 28th anniversary. Wity thr current economy, we felt it was very important to support local businesses at every possible opportunity, so instead of staying in a hotel, we chose an overnight stay at this beautiful BnB. I love historical homes and was very happy thay our room (the Tara room) was in the main house. Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful (even suggesting a place to get dinner, which ended up being every bit as amazing as we had hoped). Bonus was Sadie, her sweet & gregarious goldendoodle. Sadie didnt fail to keep us entertained. Bed was comfy and the house was very quiet. Even being on thr ground floor at the front of the house, I didnt hear any traffic outside or from anyone inside. House is very well air conditioned, so while you get the atmosphere of history, you get modern day comforts. My husband is not usually a bed & breakfast type person, but even he was impressed and said I had found a great place to stay. Would definitely return!

Pam does a great job with this BnB. Felt very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious!! They have an inn dog Sadie who is very friendly and will sit with you any time youre in the main area.

The montgomery inn is adorable and the inn keeper and Sadie the doggy are very nice. The breakfast was perfect and filling, the room was spacious and clean. Only downfall was being on the 2nd floor the room was pretty warm, but the large box fan was a nice touch.

We stayed in the victorian suite for our two-year anniversary. This was our first experience with a bnb. The room was even more spectacular in person. It was very clean, beautiful, and huge. The jacuzzi tub worked perfectly and we were pleasantly surprised to find glasses, an ice bucket, and mini fridge in the room. Pam was an exceptional host. She was extremely pleasant, understanding, and provided a delicious breakfast. We had to check in a bit late due to work issues and she was super nice about it. Her goldendoodle was also a lovely perk. This beautiful bnb is somewhere we will definitely visit again. We couldn't have stumbled upon a better place for our anniversary.

The dog was more important than the guests. The inn's owner had a Labradoodle that was not a year old and she emphasized not to let the dog out. In the morning when I went down for breakfast not only was the food mediocre at best but two of the tables had dog poo on the seats! How anyone could eat there let alone have a place to sit is beyond me. I saw the dog later tied up in the kitchen where food is prepared. I love our dogs but dogs should not have the run of an inn or hotel. Fortunately, the dog did not have access to our room which was pleasant although there was limited hot water for the three of us.

If you love living "in the rough" this is the place for you. The dust and litter under the bed verified the experience of sneeze-inducing dust throughout the annex room. The kitchen disarray gave us pause though breakfast was promptly served against all odds.

Owner is very nice and accomandating. My room originally was on the second floor but she noticed I was having knee issues and offered to move me to the first floor without any stairs. I really appreciated that kindness. Her breakfast was delicious. The room was big and the bed was terrific. Ample big and firm pillows which I like.

From the moment we arrived, our Host greeted us at the front door and welcomed us... nice touch! We immediately felt at home. She gave us a quick tour and led us to our room which was AMAZING!!! The room was beautiful and very clean and had everything we needed. Even the TV had Netflix and Hulu available. The B&B also offered a card with suggestions for dinner, and we took her suggestion for Mezzo Italian Restaurant in nearby Midway which was excellent and affordable. The following morning, we were served a generous breakfast of eggs benedict and delicious tea, We had a marvelous stay. The B&B is utterly charming. The grounds could use some landscaping and gardening work but that was very minor and did not impact our stay at all. Its a wonder that our Host is able to accomplish so much on her own. I give this B&B 4.5 Stars out of 5 and would highly recommend it!

This was a nice place to stay the owner was there to meet us. She was very pleasant person to talk to. The room was very clean. Nice thoughts went into the folks that stay here. Decor was very thought out! We would stay again. Breakfast was delicious!

When we checked in we met Pam which was very nice and so funny. She showed us around a little bit. We came to our room and was very happy with it. It was clean and had everything we needed. The bathrooms jacuzzi tub is amazing! So happy we chose Montgomery Inn and the room.
