Relaxing!

The place was really comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. What really stood out for me was that the hosts (who are quite nice) allowed me to have a late check-out, which simplified my life immensely. I realize this is not an everyday thing, but I lucked out.

Great and just what we needed when visiting family

Hi Mark & Nora Apologies for being a little late with the review. Our stay at your retreat was excellent and the unit was so well designed. The bed was super comfy, the place nice and warm and to me the most important was that the shower pressure was top notch as was the cleanliness. If we come to Raglan again we will look no further than your place. Al & Anne (Auckland)

Ideal. we would return for sure

it has everything necessary for comfortable stay for several days. Ideal location near town, very private and quiet. Bed was Very comfortable and shower etc all very new.

Superb

Fabulous unit, feels almost brand new, well thought out and equipped, with lots of nice small touches. Short walk to the very cute town of Raglan. Hosts helpful, provided an electric pan as I asked about self catering facilities (there is a microwave, kettle, toaster, but no hob). Even lent us kayaks.

A Great Retreat

Very clean and extremely comfortable. Well equipped. Delightful little patio that was tastefully screened to prevent being overlooked. Great location - easy walk into town.

There was nothing to not like about this property.

Just amazing. Needed to recharge and this space was perfect. Charming, thoughtful, beautifully fitted out. Lovely hosts, close to everything. Can’t recommend it enough!

Lovely airy and relaxing retreat

Beautiful bach, close to the beach and for eating out in the township. The most comfortable bed ever to sleep on, would love one just like it at home😊

We had a great time at the Raglan Retreat in Gilmour.

What a great place - it has a lovely feel to it. It has everything you need. We were only there one night but will definitely return for a Raglan weekend

Wonderful studio, really comfortable and clean. Terrific location.

Excellent location for the town centre. A quick 5 minute walk. Beautiful deck which felt private due to the partial fencing and plants. Decor was so nice, and the bathroom was big and clean with nice products to use. The studio was just lovely and I could have happily lived there! Mark kindly let us use his kayaks and take them to the harbour which was so generous.

A stove top would have given wider cooking options but kettle/toaster and microwave were all available. Otherwise, this place was perfect!

Perfect, private little cottage!

All of it. It was perfect in every way. We slept really well as the bed was really comfortable. The outside courtyard was wonderful and private. We'll be back.

Excellent accommodation of a high standard with lovely little touchs

Beautifully clean & well appointed apartment. Great decor & bedding. Breakfast & little treats were a very nice gesture. Unfortunately we did not meet owners but they were very responsive to messages & helpful.

5 star rating , the best super hosts 🙂

They were awesome super hosts Nora and Mark are very welcoming . Upon asking to use the Kayak Nora had excellent communication ,she even helped us walk them to the boat ramp which was only a 3min walk , beautiful modern stay so cosy and comfortable 🙂 we enjoyed everything about our stay in raglan.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Everything was 5 star rating 👍

Exceptional

Everything! Bed is very comfy. Shower was awesome, great pressure. Nice selection of coffees and informative books about the area. Lovely modern decor, lots of thought has gone in to making guests a comfortable and relaxed place to stay. Lovely private outside area. Location is brilliant being so close to town and the Harbour. Definitely recommended. Thank you Mark and Nora. Will be back again!
