Room for improvement but a very enjoyable stay overall

The hotel facilities are great and everywhere is exceptionally clean. Loved the pool which is much bigger than expected and perfect at the end of a hard day skiing. The spa was also very nice - we didn't have any treatments but the space itself is lovely to relax in. The ski hire shop in the hotel was excellent and reasonably priced - highly recommend using this for ease. The shuttle to the cable car was very welcome at the start and end of the day (but see below for negatives!)

Our hotel room was so hot, and the windows only open a small amount. We kept it open all day/night but it didn't make much difference and often the cleaners would close the window which was frustrating. The food was disappointing, plenty of choice so something for everyone and some things were good, but the quality on offer at the buffet was below what I would expect for a 5-star hotel, also everything was always quite cold. We also had breakfast in the Gou restaurant on our first morning but the service was so slow we chose to eat in the buffet for the rest of our stay. The 'magic carpet' ski lift from the hotel to the closest ski run was not working during our stay, which meant the hotel was not "ski out" as advertised. After 8pm, the shuttle service costs to/from the village costs 5 EUR per person which seems quite expensive for a 2-3min journey. We decided to walk back one evening, but it was a gruelling 15-minute steep uphill walk so bear that in mind if you're venturing out for dinner!

Helpful and kind staff and good spa

Very helpful and service minded staff. Good shuttle service, and helpful drivers.

There is a lot of "song and dance" entertainment with loud music in the main bar. This means there is actually no place to sit and relax in a more quiet environment. I suggest that the "entertainment" is moved into the "Theatre Area" (which was empty and not used). And then the main bar could be with a bit more quiet atmosphere around the fire. And the music and entertainment, and children activities done in the other room.

В игровую консоль можно играть после 16 часов, даже если закрыты склоны. Приписывают не использованные услуги. Грубое отношение к детям (сотрудник толкнул локтем ребенка и выругался на него матом).

Awesome stay! We had a concierge who would guide us on the amenities, and we felt very comfortable.

Awesome breakfast, with much selection and a barista for coffee creations.

very odd hotel that demands full payment on arrival without a smile

spa was great and the gym plus rooms were a great size. fee paying restaurant and bar of good standard.

bizarre place on top of a hill with no service back from town of an evening so stuck walking back up hill as no taxis in town either…. there is no pillow menu… breakfasts are awful…

Exceptional

I was about to cancel this booking due to some comments here, however the hotel was a nice surprise. We liked almost everything about it. Stayed at the 5 start part of the property which feels brand news. The staff was polite and helpful at all times, housekeeping twice a day. You can buy ski pass and rent ski equipment directly at the hotel and there are free shuttles to the ski areas (available at all times till about 5 o’clock, no waiting). Spa area is also very nice (one complimentary visit provided; swimming pool is freely accessible). Did not have any issues at all with the WiFi.

They need a better system at the lobby bar since someone has put his/hers cocktails (6 of those) under our room number. Did not pay for this of course, however quite an unpleasant experience having to explain it was not my signature. If you want to have dinner at town in the evening you need to be prepared to walk around 15 min up the hill on your way back. Don’t park under the hotel since you will get fined. Our car could not make the last turn up the hill since the road was covered in snow and we were told it was ok to leave it there, however this is not the case since we had a ticket next morning.

I would love to come again

the hotel is new. full of in house activities and music. in addition to evening theater. staff were very friendly. the manage Emmy was very welcoming and helpful. anything you need for ski gear and training is available.

recommend to enhance the dishes in the GOU restaurant. more items for room service as it was very limited and not items were available. extend the hours for the shuttle as it ends at 5:30pm and if you want to go to the center for evening dinner you would have to take a 20 euro taxi each way.

Fabulous stay

Beautiful hotel and views of the mountain. Clean and presented tastefully. Great spa, pool and a bonus to have the ski rental on site. Breakfast was outstanding and service wonderful. Beds comfy and great to have shuttle service available to cervinia. Great cleaning staff v attentive. free afternoon tea was fabulous. Staff generally were attentive and polite.

It would help to have a brief 5 minute overview of the important info we needed to know on arrival or with the welcome drink we were offered in the VIP room. We were offered a tour but don't think we needed that. What we did need was a bit of essential info. Our shower was tepid the first two days. The hot water availability needs addressing. The rooms were too hot!! The temperature couldn't seem to go below 22 degrees!! Usb ports in rooms would have been helpful. Check out process took a while, e.g. getting room bill prepared.

Disappointed as we thought we booked a 5 star hotel but we got an overall 3 star service.

A supposedly a 5 star with a 3 star mentality and overall rating, definitely not worth the money spent. We actually left a day earlier as we could not take it anymore. I was newly opened a few days before with complete disorganization and could not distinguish between there 5 and 4 star guests. There is one small elevator starting on the first floor serving the whole hotel. Going down for breakfast was a nightmare. Breakfast was a mayhem where a 3 minute egg took 30 minutes to prepare. Rather basic too. Big screen Tv to watch the World Cup was actually smaller than the one in the bedroom huddled in a corner in a room on the back of the beyond. The Wifi was poor and need regular reconnection.
