Beautiful clean and romantic room. Perfect location to visit Monopoli

The room is actually a studio flat equipped with all the facilities you might need. It’s such a beautiful accommodation where you can see the care they gave to every single detail from the furniture to the towels. The owners are very kind and friendly. The position is simply perfect for the old town and for the port. Literally a couple of minutes away. I strongly recommend Lavitagira because it’s not just a room but it’s also an amazing experience

Vi nød opholdet, og det bar præg af en designer som havde indrettet lejlighederne

den ene lejlighed var skøn med en dejlig balkon. den anden lejlighed var ok, men lugtede lidt af kælder. der var en skøn terrasse på taget til begge lejligheder

Bedre udluftning i kælder. lidt mere køkkengrej hvis man vil lave mad

Piacevole

La posizione della struttura è ottima, vicinissima al centro. La struttura è molto accogliente e curata nei particolari.

Sono presenti alcuni guasti come i miscelatori del bagno e della cucina, il lavello del bagno perdeva acqua e la doccetta di uno dei due bagni non funzionava.

Charming spot in the heart of the Old town. Loved it!

I loved the space. There was an extra room which was perfect for my brother and the apartment was so charming. It was hot in Monopoli when we went but the apartment was really nice and cool and if we wanted we also had an AC unit in each room. We had all the amenities we needed and the location was amazing, pretty much a few minutes walk from anywhere.

I wouldn't call it an issue but it's good to know that being in the old town, it can get noisy at night especially on the weekend, so having earplugs can help a lot. One issue we had was the fact that there was no door in one of the showers so the bathroom floor would end up soaked. Because of the age of the building there wasn't a drain there either so we had to clean the water as much as we could and then let it airdry.

Exceptional

Cosy, picturesque place, in the middle of the old town, 5 min to the nearest beach. The big terrace on the roof, fully equipped kitchen. Everything was perfect.

Beautiful stay in a beautifl town!

The location is perfect. In the old town, so close to the happenings of the town and beaches but it’s on the out skirts, so, quiet & great for walking from train station or if you have a rental car like me, so easy to get to from paid public parking about a 2 min walk away. I’m travelling solo and was nervous to not have an actual booked car space that I’d have trouble finding one nearby but it was never an issue- there is a big park with a fountain in it right near the apartment and there is plenty of parking all around it. the apartment was clean and comfortable, & I made use of the washing machine during my stay- which is shared & on the terrace so not available 24/7, you need to contact the owner and he will arrange it while your there.

The room is like a basement level and so air flow isn’t great- everything I own was damp and I had to dry it out at my next destination. I understand that’s part of living in old stone homes mixed with the humid temperatures though.

Charming place to stay

I really like the area, it's situated in the city center near all the attractions. We came late, but the owner waited for us and warmed up the heating, because it was a little bit chilly in December. The apartment was spacious and ideal for us - two mothers with two kids. When we left the apartment, my friend left something inside and the owner kindly came to let us in again, so we didn't miss our train. Thank you!

Unfortunately it was quite noisy, especially at night. Winter nights are quite chilly so remember to take extra warm clothes.

Monopoly is a place worth of staying for a while

the flat is very good located in the heart of the old town, near from the shops and restaurants and the sea coast. It isn't very big, but for one or two people - comfortable. in the kitchen and bathroom there is everything you need for one day. I recommend it highly.

Amazing stay.

I loved the localisation,the appartement is settled in heart of old town,full of little cafes and restaurants.It couldn't be more Italian weekend!Loved everything about our stay.

The apartment is great because it is in the heart of Monopoli and the price is good.

The apartment is in the city centre of Monopoli and easy to access to other places outside Monopoli. The price was reasonable and was enough for a short stay. The beds were comfortable.

One of the bedrooms did not have an AC.

nice cute place for a short stay

it’s a nice space for a single person or a couple. the location is great. beach and the city center are only minutes away. the shower has hot water. there is a small fridge and small electric stove.

you can hear the neighbors and I guess they can hear us. the walls are super thin. you can use earplugs for sleep like I did. The rest is good

Amazing

Everything! Location was right in the old town, close to both the old and new piazzas. The decor is really cute inside and has a lot of charm. The aircon/wifi worked well. Emilio was lovely and very responsive. When we asked about laundry options he simply came and took our dirty clothes and brought them back clean and folded!

The kitchen was tiny. We had intended to cook but it was just a bit too crammed, and there isn’t a great space to enjoy eating inside anyway. Best to go out for all meals!

Lovely host, we could choose from 3 apartments. Two bedrooms were easily enough with family, the kitchen was well equipped too, everything, including the bathroom was clean.

The location was convenient to discover old town, this was the only downside too. The nightlife was audible until 2-3 AM in the morning. Keep that in mind, otherwise it is nice apartment.

Pretty appartement near old town, beach and restaurants

We stayed at La Vitagira for 8 days. The appartement is so pretty and really nicely decorated. The appartement is located perfectly just in the old town and you can get to wherever you want in just a few minutes. The train station is also just a quick 15min walk away and to the pier / beach you only walk max. 10 min. The appartement is equipped with an AC which is wonderful if you come home from a long, hot day at the beach :) The host is very nice - we got our key from his son Roberto, who is also very friendly, welcoming and speaks english very good (which is great if you don't know italian that well). If you stay at La Vitagira you can also use the rooftop terrace to enjoy e.g. your breakfast up there. You can also rent bikes with Roberto and even a car if you want to. We would defenitely stay again at La Vitagira for our next trip to Monopoli.

There was a door in our appartement, which led to the next one. This door was obviously closed (and you couldn't open it) but it felt like it was paperthin. You could here every conversation in the other appartement and therefore also the other way round. This was kind of annoying because our neighbours were very loud at night, when they got home which led to us waking up etc... I would recommend (if possible) to remove the door and just close the connecting space. That would give the guests more privacy and rest (especially at night). Furthermore it would have been nice to know, that there is no real "terrace" directly at the appartement. You don't have a balcony (because it is on the ground floor) and also no terrace - you can only use the rooftop terrace together with the other guests (if you want to). Everything else, the appartement on its own, the host, the location etc. was really great and we enjoyed our stay here.

10 minutes walk to railway station. Very good communication with the host before arriving and during the stay. Flaxibility of the host. Very spacious flat, confy beds, big, well equipped kitchen, large bathroom. Airconditioning works quietly and well. In 200 metres many excellent restaurants. The closest beach 7 minutes walk. The best beaches about 20 minutes walk. It is confortable for a family of 4 or for 4 adults. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday.

People were talking under our windows, however, it is normal, because we were in the old town.

One of the best places we visited in Italy.

The location was perfect! Almost right in the middle of the old town. We parked our car in a nearby underground garage ( 100m walking ). Also our host, Sergio, was amazing. He helped us immediately when we had questions. The appartment was very clean and cozy. Thank you Sergio!
