Upon arriving at the hotel, the outside was very nice, neat and tidy , and walking inside the lobby was also very nice. The person checking me in was very nice, until going into the hotel room itself was very outdated. Outdated needed some cleaning and it smelled a little bit. This morning on upon checking out they overcharged me were very rude about it. Did not want to help fix the situation and basically him and I had an argument he was very rude. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The only thing was breafast was sketchy, the milk was expired on day 1 and 2, they removed n brought out new. I do think it was issue with actual cooler.

Wonderful stay. First timers there. Would go back again. The free wine/beer for 2 hours was a very nice touch. Next time we want to use the pool. Breakfast was hot and good. Did not leave hungry.

Very comfortable room and bed. Didn't seem to be many staff. During the day, the front desk seemed to be unstaffed. Excellent breakfast provided. Very dark lobby. No information in the room about breakfast times, wi-fi, etc. The Lodge had a "Happy Hour" Monday-Thursday evenings. Nice touch. Large pool for swimming.

Young lady that checked us in was nice, recommended places to Eat. Rooms were really nice. Breakfast was ok

Very courteous staff, even when we showed up five minutes before they were set to close for the night. The power went out for a bit in the building and even with some of the other guests being grumpy they still did everything they could to accommodate.

Like an Up North Lodge or. Colorado !

I would say overall we liked it. We did share with front desk that the room we had should have been a smoking room versus non smoking room. It may have been coming from vents or air conditioner but definitely cigarette smoke.

I asked and was told the evening before our stay that we could have ajoining rooms with my son but my son was given a different room. When we arrived we were offered for them to change, but the room smelled like spilled booze. My son stayed and was happy in his first room. Our room had major wallpaper tears and the water didn't drain in the shower and remained above our ankles. When told the employee said she would check it.

Very nice property and staff…..will be staying at the Wildwood again in 10 days. Very nice breakfast.

I think the hotel is amazing. They're short staffed. As many palaces are now. But, the staff is responsive. You just have to accept. They can only do one thing at a time. I was surprised by everything. I was not expecting it to be as goid as it was. The only thing that they didnt do. Which they advertise that they do,do. Is to give out a complimentary cookie when you check in. And a daily paper. But both of those things could have had just been out of the contol of the hotel, at the time. Sometimes newspapers companies deliver the papers later than their normal times because of machine failure. And there could have been a problem with the cookies being delivered. Theyre were also a lot of young kids. And the kids could have cleaned them out of the cookies. So, neither of those 2 things affected how much i really enjoyed the hotel. Im sure that im going to keep going back to it.

Room was clean and comfortable.

To start, the door and floor in the bathroom were warped and every time you opened or closed the door it made a noise. Not good in the middle of the night. The towel rods were rusting. No closet to hang any clothes up in. No paper guide for the TV channels that we could look at. No clock in the room. We had called ahead in the morning and around noon to see if we could check in a little early, like 2:00 instead of 4:00. We got there and they said there was no way we could get in before 3. We were just going to wait a bit. Then they said they had a room ready. Personally I think it was one of those rooms that are the last ones to be given out because there's stuff wrong with it. It was decorated nice.

Our trip was wonderful. Moved Grandsons from Duluth Mn to Waukesha and the Wildwood was close by and convenient to where they moved to.

Loved the firepit and that there were 3 BBQs- 2 gas and one not. Also had a few picnic tables outside- we were the only ones using but if more people, you may want to add more. The main floor also had a nice area where our family used to play games. The pool area did seem a tad warm, but was a nice pool area. Great place and reasonably priced! Recommend to others!

The rooms were great. We were surprised by a free happy hour upon arrival. The breakfast was nice, too. The staff also is very helpful. I travelled 10 miles out of my way to stay there, after having a great expirence the prior year. Very pleased again.

It was unique in that it was decorated like an up north lodge. The breakfast area was combined with a seating area and large fireplace along with a small bar. There was complimentary drinks from 5-7pm which was very nice. Outside in front was a seating area with a gas fire pit. It was nice visiting with friends around the outdoor fire. I had a room with two queen beds. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The room was quite large with a desk, lounge chair and side table and an l-shaped couch with large footstool. Shower was nice and there was complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers on the wall in the shower. There was a small refrigerator and microwave. The only thing lacking was a place to hang your clothes. This was a real negative issue. Two great eating places in walking distance and nearby gas station. Also, easy on and off the interstate.

The hotel could use a couple updates but the pool was great and the staff were super. We booked a pool side room and were told once we got there that they had to nail the doors shut in the rooms due to a code issue so we couldn't access the pool directly from our room so that was disappointing. Otherwise our stay was good.
