Hotel was in a great location, very walkable. Front desk was also very helpful in booking transportation for wineries outside city center.

Awful stay, very rude front desk staff. Expedia gold suggests 2 included drinks at check in and then they charged us for them on check out. Room is small, no natural light, AWFUL breakfast, tasteless and super hot coffee my wife burnt her mouth on it. Decent location but for the money save yourself the disrespect from terrible staff.

It was a real good location for exploring the city… right at the main square. The people at the reception were really friendly and helpful and made the stay very smooth and easygoing.

The outlets are old and any weight on a charging device would pull it from the outlet. Needed to support the charging device. There weren't any chairs in our room when we arrived, but they brought some up for us. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

The best thing about this hotel was location! The Plaza de Independencia was right in front of the hotel and it had a night time water show, Hop on Off bus, vendors and plenty of restaurants. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It was an exceptional Argentine buffet breakfast.

I arrived there in the morning but the staff welcomed me to enter the room because they had a vacant room. The room was so cute and I could see beautiful patio from the window. I could take a rest and went around the Mendoza city well. The morning buffet didn't have many choice but the pan were so delicious. Overall, appropriate price and condition!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property is well worn. Beds were not very soft; just OK to sleep on. Room was clean, but rather spartan. Breakfast was very basic.

Great location — unbeatable. Located right at the Independence Plaza. If you are a light sleeper, noise will be an issue — my room is facing right at the street so I hear quite a bit of noise of people passing and such. But in BA if I am tired after a long day I am fine falling asleep. It’s a basic hotel — but comfortable and the bed is good. So if you are not expecting luxury it’s a great place to stay at decent price.

There were many hotels to choose from in Mendoza that all seemed similar in both price and amenities. The Argentino seemed unique in its style plus provided a room with two single beds at a reasonable price and with a great location right off the main park. Staff was very helpful and spoke great English. There's a bar with beer and wine always at the ready. Breakfast is included but it's not exactly a hot breakfast. It consisted of large amounts of bread and fruit for the most part. The most “American” complaint I heard was that the cups were too small. For our part, the biggest complaint we had is that in the summer the room AC unit was not powerful enough to combat the heat of the sun against the window until night time. The room stayed mostly warm. But generally speaking, I can recommend this hotel.

Great little hotel right on Plaza Independencia. Friendly, helpful service. Small but cute (and relatively recently re-done) rooms. Price point is exactly right - you get exactly what you’re paying for here, none of the overpriced nonsense of the other “nice” hotels in the area. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was great for location and facilities - even better was the staff. Front desk folks were always ready to assist in storing luggage or giving directions. It reinforces why in the tug of war over hotels vs short term rental stays - Htoels - like Argentino offer so much more. Highly recommend

The location of this hotel is perfect. Close to many good restaurants, walking distance from the San Martin Park, a lot of shopping options close by. Was the right location for us that did the Marathon. The room was clean, simple…had what we needed. Breakfast could have more options like eggs included.

Pros: Great location walking distance to many places. Cons: Across frompark can get a bit noisy as the windows aren't double paned. The pool is tiny and very limited sunshine only around noon.

The location is PERFECT! Right by Plaza Independence and Sarmiento, pedestrian street and Av. Arístides Villanueva with lots of restaurants and bars. We had a room facing the Plaza. Quite small room but with good bed comfort and very clean. Amenities in the bathroom. Breakfast room can be quite crowdy at certain times. Only cold items for b-fast. Nice poolarea but it was to cold for a Swim and just a few sunbeds.

Staff, breakfast and front view of the hotel is the only nice. Rooms were very small, old and dark with smell. I believe decoration of the rooms just make you want to leave once you enter. Location is excellent but would definitely not suggest.

Lackluster room. Fine but nothing special and for this price in Mendoza you can get a lot nicer. The room was small and felt outdated. The bed comfort was fine and it was clean.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff who spoke English in case you don’t speak Spanish. Nice outdoor seating area for the day or the evening. Only drawback was that there was no plug socket near the bed.

A couple of things made Argentino hotel a great stay, for a starter the people working there were exceptionally nice, service-minded and welcoming! Moreover, it has a great location and was probably the hotel in all of Argentina that offered the best price/reward ratio. Highly recommended !

First room I was given had a very strong chemical smell. Was given another room on same lower level. It was a bit better but still smelt funny every time I reentered the room. Great location and good breakfast.
