Booked 3 beds, got only 2. No soap in the dispenser in the bathroom. Picture not reflecting actual room. Very basic facilities. Very poor value for money

We booked this hotel because we have used it before and know it is ideally located for a quick getaway on to the motorway, as we were on the final leg of a very long journey up from southern Spain. Le Mans is a beautiful city, with lots to see, so is well worth a visit. A short drive from the hotel brings you to the city walls, where there is a large free car park, enabling visitors to walk through the narrow medieval streets. This time however, after experiencing a tyre blow out on the journey, all we wanted to do was stop, eat and sleep! We made it to reception 10 minutes before it closed and the receptionist was extremely helpful checking us into our adjoining rooms with the dog. We spoke French, she spoke English and the whole transaction was quick and efficient. Rooms were quite large and on the ground floor, so luggage could be passed in through the window to save walking. The en-suite bathrooms are tiny, but everything worked well. Travelling with a dog, the large park just outside the hotel gate is a real bonus for walking. A short distance away is an excellent pizzeria, which is where we ate before heading to bed. In the morning, the breakfast lacked several of the usual items (yogurt, sliced bread, fruit) and the member of staff on duty was surly and reluctant to find any replacements. My teenage sons found little to eat. We left before the official checkout time, but had already been hassled twice by cleaning staff wanting to sort the room.

It is what it is. Basic. Cigarette burns on duvet and the curtain looked like a map of the constellations due to the number of holes in it, however, it was clean.

We did not see any reception staff on arrival and checked in automatically. At 10.00 next day the water was cut off with no information given to us though we had been to breakfast and to reception. There were no signs about maintenance being done and at least one other couple were also caught out. I spoke to the manager who did not apologize or offer any recompense. When I pay for private facilities and have a room until12.00, I am not happy to have water cut off while I am showering or to be denied use of the toilet . This experience has spoiled my previously favorable impressions of Premiere Classe hotels.

Could not get in the car park at first and the ticket machine told me to report at the front desk. But the front door was locked and there was no one at reception. Luckily a already check in guest let three parties in the car park and the opened the front door. Where myself and the two other parties were left alone at reception without anyone to check us in for 15 minutes. You get what you pay for. Bed was comfortable and thankfully skipped breakfast.

Nice big open car park. Easy to locate from motorway (with trailer). Smart modern campus location. Close to amenities - food, patisserie. Clean, comfortable. Good simple breakfasts. Breakfast TV to catch up on News. Wifi that works.

Very difficult to find - heading from the A11 towards LeMans. Easier coming the other way. Room had a bad smell that seemed to be coming from the drains.

We visited Le Mans and stayed the night on our return to the U.K. The hotel was adequate and clean. It has private parking which is well lit at night. Premiere Class Hotels are usually good value.

This is a great hotel if you just want a quick overnight stay on your way to your destination. The rooms are clean but small. The bathroom is very tiny. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. There is a pizza restaurant closeby and also a McDonalds.

The rooms were OK, but I had ordered and and paid for a double room for my wife and I and a Triple room for our 3 teenage daughters. Despite having copies of these 2 bookings, I was told that there were no triple rooms left for my 3 daughters so they had to squeeze into a double bed room. I have the order receipts to prove this.

Cheap and cheerful. Perfect for just a 'passing through' place to stop. The room and bathroom was very clean although the bed was a little hard #personal preference# and is fully air conditioned. The lady on reception was very pleasant and spoke good english. This hotel has secure parking so we were happy to leave roof box and fully loaded car. Breakfast is extra and is buffet style of which everything was fresh with a fair selection. There is also a MacDonalds and a couple of small cafe/bar type places within easy walking distance.

The hotel is on the outskirts of the town but its on a main tram route and near the motorway. Its quiet and has secure parking (it has an automatic barrier). The rooms are small but clean and neat and tidy. It is a newish building and so everything is in good order. It is exceptional value.

The hotel was fairly easy to find and offered great access to central Le Mans. Our room had a comfortable bed and the heater/AC worked fantastically. The bathroom was an odd shape. We had a hard time not getting water everywhere in the shower. The only downside was no hair dryer in the room or available in the hotel. It was easy to get to from the main highways (from Caen/Normandy). Very easy to get into the main part of town for all the attractions and restaurants. Fairly easy to get back to since it is near the university (lots of directional signs!).

I am very used to inexpensive hotels being associated with uncleanliness and/or lack of service. But I was very surprised at how clean and organized this hotel was. I am sold and look forward to other stays in the future. P.S. The 2008 GPS maps found it no problem in Le Mans, France
