Can't read the menu in the restaurant because it's so dark. Loopy high menu prices which weren't worth it. City centre hotel bar prices, but the parking fees!!! Wow. Even in the multi storey down the very steep hill, it was £50 for only just over 24 hrs.

The hotel staff were helpful from check in and the kind and courteous attitude continued. The hotel is well placed in the city, near the station and Sauchiehall street. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, Carolina in the dining room was excellent, the bar and dining staff were courteous and friendly. The reception staff were helpful with advice about the City and transport. If we come to the city again we would be more likely to return to the Malmaison. Thanks folks

Malmaison Glasgow is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant/bar is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not the fault of the hotel, but several roads in the area are closed for construction, so be prepared to drive in a few circles before you get there.

Nice hotel, but very dark and poorly lit. The more expensive rooms have a shower over a bath and the cheaper ones a walk in shower which seems like the wrong way round to me. I downgraded to have a walk in shower but would have been nice to still have my free water, chocs and nice coffee machine given I’d paid for it! Breakfast nice but not much choice, much prefer a hot buffet breakfast than it being served on a plate. Restaurant excellent quality for evening meal but choice very limited and nothing healthy on the menu. Staff helpful and friendly but feel the hotel is a bit tired and in need of refurbishment.

The room (119) itself was fine. up two sets of steep stairs, no lift. Due to old building the floorboards were very creaky and made a noise every time you walked. You could hear people loudly in corridors so not much sound-proofing. Carpers were tired and threadbare. In need of renovation. Beds were comfy and pleasant enough and staff were nice. Location central but up a very steep hill. Overpriced.

Walls are extremely thin. Was unable to sleep because you could hear someone on the room next door snoring like a banshee. Unfortunately, because the rooms are small, the noise travels into the rooms. Staff was great at check-in, and out. Parking in the lot was easy (couple blocks away).

The stay was good but the price we paid at the hotel was more than the price listed on your website and what I thought I'd booked. I can't find the confirmation email anywhere however the price was different by some way. 2 rooms were when booked approx £360 but at hotel it was £195 each.

Lovely hotel staff are so so friendly and good at their jobs nothing is a problem. Few silly thing in room need a bit of attention and some of the communal area carpets have seen better days but overall a good hotel and good value for money

Well as a positive most of the staff were really nice and friendly. Breakfast was great On a negative note: Cold tap didn't work in bathroom sink Bathroom sink was cracked No batteries in the remote Fittings need to be secured in room Not enough towels in the room. Furniture through the hotel was stained and marked Cleaner walked into the room without knocking and asked when we are leaving Would rate this more a 2 star hotel to be honest
