The home had neighbors but secluded by trees down a dead end street so it was super private. Beautiful view sitting on the porch listening to the rain. A quick walk through the woods and we had lake access which the two kiddos (teens) loved!!! Although, the 2 minute drive was a little easier!! There was a no ATV sign on the road but it was to not have riders using the area (we were able to go in/out directly from the property. About 15 minutes from town made this the perfect location for our getaway.

I loved the accommodations the location was great. Loved the fact I could have my dogs with me. Beds a bit too firm for my tastes but couches were awesome.

We loved the cabin, the area, the neighborhood (even when we were stuck due to mud lol) The cabin has everything you need, the neighbors are great, we would definitely rent again.

I would stay here again, the only thing that could i could say the the property owners put in some better lighting in the Kitchen and living area. Other than that, it was a nice place.

Cozy cabin that was great to come home to after a long day on the trails. The open concept kitchen/living room really make the most of the space. We had space in the driveway for three trucks towing trailers plus two additional cars. At that point it became cramped but it all fit. Would certainly stay again. Host was quick to respond for any questions.

The house is just as described in the description. We were initially a little confused with the directions to get to the house as it is listed at west grouse roost road but gps only allows East grouse roost road but based on the pictures in the listing we made it. The house was beautiful just as described. The only suggestions I might have for future renters is if they are in need of any small kitchen appliances to pack your own. This wasn't a problem for us as we did bring our own crockpot and air fryer. The house has a coffee maker and a toaster. There was a basket in the kitchen with maps, things to do, etc. but many of the items dated back as far as 2009. Someone may want to put something a little more current in the basket and get rid of the outdated items. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
