Tucked away in a gated community on the North End of Pleasure Island, your next adventure awaits! Enjoy your mornings on our back porch and enjoy the peaceful sound of the waves crashing against the sand, or take a nice walk over the marsh on our private dock to see the variety of birds on your walk to the beach! With so many amazing locally owned restaurants on the island so your taste buds will not be disappointed. Make sure you leave your stress at the bridge, Welcome to Pleasure Island! The beach is a simple walk about 300 yards or so over a marsh on a private dock made for our gated community. We have a beach stroller, chairs, extra beach towels that you can pack up for a convenient walk to the beach!

We booked this rental months prior to our stay because we were traveling to Carolina Beach for a wedding. 2 weeks before our trip the owner canceled our reservation with no notice or explanation. While we were issued a full refund the host nor VRBO made any attempts to assist us.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The access to the beach was easy and brough you right to a quiet part which was not overcrowded. The condo had pretty much everything you need for the beach including a wagon, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys etc! The only nitpicking we could do is that screen on the back door was torn and doesn't look good and that the queen bed was squeaky. Anytime we got in and out of bed it made loud noises which disturbed the other person sleeping. overall....great place! we would stay here again

Check in was 3:00 but we didn’t get there until after 5:00. Owner sent a text before we got there telling me about the towels. I texted back we would be there late if they wanted to finish the laundry with no response. Cleaning service left wet towels in dryer and sheets in washer. We had to finish the towels, fold and put in the sheets. Dishes still in dishwasher, sand, dog fur all over house. Trash still in bathroom, toilets not clean. Had to wipe down everything, sweep along with finish laundry before we could enjoy our stay. Door handle covered with tape. Screen torn, chairs on deck worn, dirty used band on deck. Not as clean as pictures showed. I texted the owner and he didn’t respond. Other than having to clean before we relaxed, which was off putting, the location was good with a 5 minute walk to the four wheel drive beach.

Nice quiet couple of days with beach access via a scenic walkway though the saltmarsh. The beach cart provided works well until you reach the sand beach then bogs down, pack lightly. Cart was in guest bedroom closet, not under the building.. Be sure to leave the park tag in the apt when you leave. Had strange experience with finding a smoke alarm, new in box in the water heater closet beeping. This was after silencing the two installed alarms. Brandon was a good host and receptive to our needs.
