Good

Good location for travellers, visiting the region. Nice accommodations, spacious enough, with a modern touch. Clean sheets and comfortable beds. We travelled on motorcycles and could store the bikes securely over night.

Breakfast was a little bid disappointing. Very simple, just some bread, sliced cheese and ham. Water damage on the ceiling of my room. One of the couples had no working air-conditioning in there room. When they asked for help at the reception, they were told someone would look into it, which did not happen, and in the meanwhile to open the window. With 38ºC during daytime and around 28ºC at night, this was no solution at all and the longed-for night rest was not to happen. Which ultimately defeats the purpose of the stay.

a good place to stay for a weekend

clean and recently remodeled everyone was very nice

some rooms had an intense tobacco smell the bathroom division was too transparent, which is not very comfortable for someone that’s using it.

Excellent value for your money.

Cleanliness, interior design, natural light and otherwise, room size, Portuguese charm, TV.

A little noise. Unavoidable. Coffee and juice are below expectations. Need to toast! WIFI could be better.

It has a good price for the breakfast. We were able to get connecting rooms like we wished. Very friendly and co-operative staff that helped us during our stay. Very spacious rooms and comfy beds.

Very good

The guesthouse has a hotel vibe. The room was recent and clean, the A/C worked well. I had to arrive a few minutes after the check-in closure and it was no problem

The place is quite far from the city center. As long as you are aware of it, it's no problem

Bikers Friendly

Well above expectations quality to price, cleanliness, rooms, hospitality. Breakfast was fair and simple. Residential area near Covilha city; close enough for a bike or bus ride downtown and the city mall. It's on the main road, so I'll let that for the next section. SE orientation helps getting lots of sunlight from very early in the morning.

Visit Covilhã. Stay at Tomás.

Super clean, even to the fresh smell as you walk into the hallway. Easy to find location. Accomodating staff (they allowed a last minute room cancellation when we needed one instead of two). Comfortable beds. Nice to have breakfast at the restaurant. Very adequate in every way and we would stay again if in the area.

Parking is limited and tight. Our room was above the esplanada of the café and some of the cigarette smoke smell made it into the room. Two of the three pillows were more solid than soft. None of these were problems, just observations.

Good for 1-2 nights.

Very simple renovated guest house. Clean rooms and facilities. Close to Covilhã city.

Parking is limited, even near by it is tricky to find a place. Breakfast service is very simplified, and requires an additional fee.

Very good

Poor comms between Booking.com and Guest House. Having stayed here twice before and on each previous occasion the staff were unaware of our visit. For our third visit, again booking confusion. Once sorted all was good.

A stop off en route to the mountains.

Modern, bright and clean room. Spacious en suite with a large shower. The hotel car parking was very handy as the streets around the hotel were very congested.

My room was on the roadside so there was traffic noise. There was also alot of noise at night from the cafe just below and the restaurant opposite. The room did not have a hairdryer, a rarity these days.

Disappointing

This is a restaurant with some rooms on the other side of the road, main business is the restaurant so hotel don't have a receptionist or someone to help in case you need. Breakfast is very basic and the employee seems that is doing a favor to you. Fire alarm triggered during early morning and no staff to help or explain what happened. I ran outside and ask for help in the restaurant but the lady just reset the control center and said that maybe it was someone smoking, and that's it. It was my second time and I tried to give this second chance, but I don't plan to come back. Price is very good but you have much better options paying just a bit more.

The hotel has a good localization, fully clean room and good staff.

My room was closer entrance. It is possible to hear all the time everybody was walking and speaking.
