Used the pool a lot. Beach is about a 3 minute walk-super close. There is an IGA nearby. Walkable.

We enjoyed our stay at this property on Tybee Island. The proximity to the beach is excellent. We spent a lot of time in the screen-in porch and my grandson slept out there! The pool is very nice. We cooked many meals and were able to find just about everything we wanted to use in the kitchen. I am sure when this house was built, it was one of the nicest on the island. With that being said, the property needs many updates and a better cleaning service. The downstairs was dirty. When we first arrived after the cleaning service had supposedly just been there, we found lots of bugs and dirt on the floor and in bottom cabinets, which we cleaned. We had to vacuum the living room floor and clean sticky stuff off the kitchen counters. There were numerous other little maintenance problems which we discovered each day, like a bathroom shower not draining, ice maker that did not work, and cold water in a downstairs bathroom sink did not work. The dishwasher is not secured at the top and could be dangerous if it came completely loose. An upstairs drawer in a bedroom fell apart in my hands. A hot tub was advertised online, but there was no hot tub. We would not have used it in the heat, but the owner should not advertise an amenity she does not have. We have rented numerous beach, mountain and other vacation houses over the years and have never encountered the problems we found at this house. All could be easily fixed. The price is far too high in its current condition.

Great house in a great location. Steps to the beach walkway. Nice walk to pier, shops, and restaurants. About a half mile but easy walk. Spacious house and amazing porch. Kids enjoyed the pool and it had heat so that was nice on cooler nights.

Great location, close to beach and downtown. Clean!! Host was super responsive always and super helpful! The screened in porch upstairs is awesome and a perfect spot to relax and hang with friends! Most importantly it was AFFORDABLE! This house was literally perfect for us and made our vacation just that much better!!

Location was perfect! 3 houses from the beach walkway, mid-island, and within walking distance to the IGA. The pool gave us a cool break from the beach, and the grill was nice. Pool maintenance came to clean it twice while we were there for the week, which was great. However, the cleanliness of the property was not. Countertops, sinks, and tables needed to be wiped down. All the dishes needed to be rewashed before using. There are also quite a few maintenance issues throughout the house. However, towels/bedsheets were all clean. The layout and number of bedrooms/bathrooms were perfect for our large family. The A/C worked wonderfully, and there are Roku or Smart TV’s in all of the living rooms/bedrooms. The screened in porch was wonderful for morning coffee and evening cocktails, but the TV did not work. The ping pong table, 2nd refrigerator, and extra full bathroom in the garage were an added bonus. Overall, a great family vacation!

Great location in Tybee being a few houses down from beach access. Parking was easy at the house. The house was overall clean but the pool was dirty. The owner mentioned the pool cleaner was supposed to come that Friday we checked in, however, he ended up coming Saturday afternoon. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool with the house due to the late cleaning. The owner was very prompt to response however there were limited towels and sheets for guest to use during their stay. When asked about top sheets, she had mentioned that she doesn’t provide them for the twin beds. Bring your own extra sheets and towels. The toilet was broken upon arrival in which a plumber did come 2x to check on the toilet. He came the first time and then an hour later came back to the house because he wanted to double check he installed a valve the right way. The plumber told our guests that this house needed serious plumbing renovations due to the toilet as well as no running water in one of the bathroom sinks. Not optimal when you have a house that can hold up to 10 guests. Great location but overall would not stay at the house again until it gets renovations or updates.

Proximity to the beach was a plus. Pool was a plus. It was cleaned and serviced twice during the week by a pool maintenance company. Spacious for our families. Good appliances, amenities, TV and cable. We did have a problem with the downstairs A/C but it was quickly diagnosed and corrected. We all enjoyed our stay.

This was a great house for our annual Tybee family vacation! There was enough space for the 8 of us, 5 adults and 3 children, to gather together for meals and games but also for some solitude when wanted or needed. The large screened porch was wonderful and the pool a huge success, one of the best things though, was the proximity to the beach! We hope to return to this property next year.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love the area. There are a lot of advantages to staying at this property, but we will not be staying again. We had a list of reasons why we would not be staying, but mainly it is because it is very dirty.

Our family had an amazing week! The house and location were great for our family and young three young kids — beach steps from the house, private pool, 25 min drive to Savannah and plenty of ice cream shops within a 3 min drive. The huge screened-in porch was used daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner. If you appreciate a house that feels “cottagey”, then you’ll very much enjoy your stay here.
