If you love the beach and the mountains, then try out this log cabin that offers the best of both worlds! This beautiful, custom-built oceanfront home is located just steps from the beach, accessible via your own private walkway. The home is unique being that it is the closest log cabin to the ocean in the U.S. There is no other house like it on Topsail Island! It offers a truly back-to-nature retreat experience right by the seaside. Loggerhead sea turtles routinely nest on the grounds. Many have delighted as the hatchlings scamper to the ocean. Dolphins and large schools of fish abound in the seas, and are often visible from the home's decks and windows.
This home has recently undergone an extreme makeover, with significant upgrades throughout ready for your pleasure, including new furniture in most of the rooms and hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and cupboards stocked with kitchenware. The living area has a large, smart flat-screen TV and is oriented to create great family conversations. Each of the three large bedrooms have new bedding and flat-screen TVs. The sizable wraparound decks of this beautiful home give plenty of room to enjoy views of both the ocean and the marsh. You will fall in love with the warm, rustic, cozy feeling you get when you enter this log cabin and begin your escape, including a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi in the huge main suite bathroom downstairs.
You'll enjoy many amenities, including a large, enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a picnic table, rope hammock, WiFi access, an Xbox in the bunk room, board games, a Pack 'n Play, a high chair, and beach toys for the kids.
If you are looking forward to a relaxing vacation on family-oriented Topsail Island, you can't go wrong with this gorgeous, one-of-a-kind home.
THINGS TO KNOW
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
